Hotel Blue Dream Palace has garnered accolades for its exceptional service, with staff delivering prompt and personalized attention. The modern and impeccably clean rooms offer breathtaking sea views, although there are occasional comments about Wi-Fi connectivity and storage space. A vibrant atmosphere permeates the property, thanks to cultural entertainment and inviting suites. While the hotel's cleanliness and amenities, including sumptuous pools and a luxurious spa, are frequently praised, some guests consider the additional charges for certain services a drawback. Nonetheless, the hotel's private beach location earns consistent praise for its beauty and accessibility.

We stayed at this hotel for 11 nights and had a very enjoyable stay. The Hotel is modern, comfortable and run by very professional friendly staff. The breakfast and dinner options were varied and very tasty, offering a buffet style self service and eat as much as you want.
The staff were incredible and worked exceptionally hard to keep the hotel clean and ŕunning smoothly. A big thank you to Nikolaos who ran the restaurant and to Vanna who also worked in the restaurant (sorry if I got the spelling wrong) you were both a joy to meet, professional, friendly, genuine and hard working. Also a big thank you to the staff on reception who were amazing and would do anything to help, were very approachable and friendly. In fact all the staff worked so hard the room cleaners kept the rooms extremely clean, the staff who worked round the pool or beach taking food and drink orders and delivering to everyone.
I would certainly stay there again.

My wife and I visited Thassos sept 23 for the 4th time. I did some basic research on the hotel and as we needed a chill break it sounded perfect. We booked after UK kids had gone back to school … however it seems many European schools were still off but hey ho the kids there were fine.
We stayed in a superior double room which was modern, clean and as all rooms had, fabulous views over the Agean sea.
The downside to the rooms, very little storage space for clothes , wi fi was not the best, and it would be perfect if a kettle was part of the furniture. We had a shower over the bath and the bathroom itself was good. We did have a “flooding “ problem whilst showering but after we reported it on the room tablet, it was sorted immediately. Balcony was also spacious and nice.
We stayed half board , there was plenty of choice at breakfast and dinner … I previously read complaints the food wasn’t hot… yes that was true to an extent BUT if food was left out under more heat it would over cook.. swings and roundabouts ….
My wife used the indoor gym once but two other women were in there with 6 children..😩..!!
The pool area was fabulous but many people used the beach which is right on the doorstep and snap fabulous . Sunbeds and shade are available for hotel guests on the beach and they are very comfortable indeed. I will say one thing though, the “floating” beds by the pool are cheated even to hotel guests at €10 (you do get a coffee or soft drink with that) and I hardly saw those beds used as a result…. Pool towels are provided with a €10 deposit per towel but you can change daily if required.
Limenaria is s good 35 minute walk partly on road , the rest along the beaches all the way. Well worth a walk and visit into town as there is very little around the hotel and the hotel shop doesn’t sell much in the way of food items if you want that sort of thing .
Staff were all fabulous and helpful… the shive water park is also used at a charge but looks fun for the kids .
It IS a lovely clean hotel but don’t expect English type 5 star as you will be disappointed. Greece is minimalistic in many ways but it’s very clean and it’s staff hard working and great. It’s a great place for families and if we went again we would opt fora shared pool room… pool is really impressive and shared by only about 9 rooms… we didn’t utilise meltimi taverna but that’s already well documented in reviews.
All in all we enjoyed our stay … oh btw someone described the lobby as looking like a jumble sale… really..??! Our very modern and quirky… they only gave the hotel one or two so don’t really know why tbh..??
It’s a lovely clean modern family hotel and I would take my grand children there in an instant when they are old enough.
Thank you to all the staff… if you want to chill in beautiful surroundings this is the place for you ….

Dear Brummiehome, Thank you for sharing your detailed review! We’re thrilled to hear that you and your wife enjoyed your fourth visit to Thassos and appreciated the hotel’s modern and clean rooms with their fabulous views over the Aegean Sea. We’re glad that the staff's responsiveness and the overall cleanliness of the hotel added to your positive experience. It’s also great to know that you enjoyed the beach access and the pool area, though we appreciate your feedback on the floating beds and pool towels. We’re sorry to hear about the issues with storage space, Wi-Fi, and the kettle, but we’re pleased that the bathroom concerns were resolved promptly. Your observations about the food temperature and the distance to Limenaria are valuable, and we appreciate your understanding of the local context and minimalistic style. Thank you for your kind words about our staff and facilities. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the future, perhaps to a room with a shared pool. Your feedback helps us continually improve, and we’re grateful for your support. Warm regards, Dessi K Guest Services Manager

My wife daughter and myself have just returned from a 10 day Stay at this beautiful clean Hotel. From being greeted off the coach with a refreshing wipe and a drink to our reluctant check out, we could not have asked from more from the friendly hard working delightful staff with a special mention to Clarrisa and Hosmass (apologies for any spelling mistakes) who work tirelessly around the pool area.
we stayed in one of the deluxe rooms with a balcony the room was kept spotless during our stay and the shower facilities and quiet air con were a dream. Sitting on the balcony watching and listening to the waves on the shingle in the morning was especially beautiful.
we had half board but spent the second half of our stay by the pool taking advantage of the poolside beds at 20 euros worth of food and drink from the taverna the beer was good as were the cocktails but their snack were delicious.
This Hotel seems to cater for a lot of guest who seem to travel in large groups with children so the swim up pools work for them.
we cannot recommend this hotel high enough but in doing so im concerned we wont be able to return as other people find this gem, it is not a big hotel I think only 98 rooms but there facilities cover the occupancy.

The resort is a wonderful place. The staff is really polite, nice and always ready to help, even if you dropped an opened bottle of water on your bed at 12 a.m. and needed new dry sheets, they definitely know how to take care of the guests' needs. The important things: clearness 10/10, private pool 10/10, deluxe room 10/10, food (hotel's restaurant, tried breakfast only) 10/10, SPA (not the pools and sauna, haven't tried that) 10/10: great massages and I highly recomment the detox face procedure, my skin feels reborn, view and beach 10/10. Overall, there isn't one single thing I didn't like about the place. Special thanks to the receptionist Marina - WE LOVED HER. Planning to come back soon.

This is a lovely modern hotel with exceptional staff, nothing was too much trouble. The Manager / owner is great and like his staff will do everything they can to help you enjoy your stay.

It is in a lovely bay with a few tavernas near by but not much else, however, it is only 6 euros for a taxi into Liminiara (reception happy to book for you).

You could walk, would take about 30 mins.

The Hotel has its own Taverna called Meltemi and the food is exceptional. As a hotel guest you get 10% off your bill. In the Meltemi they serve 1 litre carafe of wine for 10 euro, if you order a 75ml bottle it is 16 euro. It’s very reasonably priced.

There is also the Blu bar that serves snacks, drinks and cocktails. Cocktails are a tad expensive but they have happy hour 9 to 11.

The food in the main restaurant is very varied with loads of choice. Also at breakfast the Chef makes omelettes of your choice.

Rooms are spotless clean and bedding changed regularly. Towels are changed every day.

If you fancy a change from the hotel there is a Taverna to the left on the beach and they do nice sandwiches, toastier and chips.

There is another Taverna to the tight of the hotel but the food was not great there.

Overall we had a great 2 weeks here.

It is an excellent hotel with the best view to the clearest sea in a beautiful environment in the unique island of Thassos, which composes the symphony of history, natural beauty, hospitality, civilization and spiritual life. The personnel of the hotel is characterized by kindness and politeness under the spirit of of the genuine traditional Greek hospitality. The hotel is an ideal place for summer vacations, swimming, painting, reading and meditation.

Not even close to a 5* hotel! We had high hopes, paied a lot of money (3020€ for King Suite with pool for 7 nights) and left disapointed. The Senior Suite is, as the manager agreed “one of the most expensive rooms”. What guests find out after ceck-in, is the location: few meters away from a tavern, with loud music untill late at night, and one of the walls attachet to a deposit, where EVERY MORNING, before 8 a.m the workers start with hammers and drillmashines, laughing and shouting with no respect for the guests.
The wi-fi mentioned on the site doesn’t exist, in fact we were invited to the office next to the reception if we need connection…
We where told that all the island have this problem, but it’s still mentioned as a facility!
There was very little space in the shower and if you’re not very carefull, all the water flows in the bathroom; the toilet hardly flush, and the soap support on the wall felt every time we use it. The bed is uncobfortable, the room details don’t deserve more than 3* (in fact, there are 3* hotels far better than this!)
On top of all, in the ceck-out day, I forgot my Ipad in the room. I called the Reception, they said they did not find it. After I told them I can track it and it’s there, they “went to ceck”, an told us that they find it in the garbadge…
We’ve been in most of the greek islands, but never had such bad experience!
We would not ever recommend this hotel!

My wife and I have recently returned from our third stay at The Blue Dream Palace and it did not disappoint. We stayed in one of the new rooms with a private pool and quite simply it was superb, well thought out with everything from a coffee making machine to remote curtains. The pool area has been upgraded to their usual high standard and of course the sea view remains it’s beautiful self. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly professional staff on reception whose customer service was second to none.Special mention has to go to Giorgos and Stamatis, both of whom have taken on more responsibility since our last visit 2019(pre covid). They were their usual friendly and helpful selves providing an exceptional service and making sure their team did also..We also felt that Nikolaos and Vana in the restaurant whilst new to the hotel provide superb service and nothing was too much trouble for them.Another new face Leigh who provided you with your drink of choice at breakfast was always smiling and provided us with many a laugh. From the highly skilled ladies in the Hotel Spa to the team of cleaners who keep the place spotlessly clean all are an integral part of why this hotel stands above its competitors. We have already booked a return visit for next June (2023) We cannot recommend this hotel enough

We stayed in the June half term in a group of 7 (3 adults & 4 Kids).

The hotel is spot on. Clean, well kept and spacious. We were given three rooms next to each other, two of which had a connecting door. Standard decent quality hotel room with daily housekeeping and good aircon.

Where this hotel really smashes it though is the outside space. Great pool, big and good temperature, plenty of really nice sunbeds and big parasols. Waiter service for drinks. We spent most of our time by the pool and the kids loved it.

From there its a few steps to the beach which is quiet. The hotel has sunbeds and waiter service on the beach. The sea has lovely clear water and easy swimming. You will find it much better if you bring "sea shoes" but they aren't essential.

We stayed half board. The breakfasts were excellent with loads of choice and they ran from 7.30 to 11. Dinner was so-so and we found it a little bit samey but there is always something to eat there. There is a restaurant where you can pay in the evening but we didn't try it. You can get lunches at the poolside bar which we did and found them to be very good Gyro's, salads and lovely pizza, again we had to pay for this separately but it wasn't too expensive. There is low key entertainment a couple of nights a week in the outside bar/restaurant.

As other reviewers have said theres a town nearby, Taxi 6 euros. Nothing too exciting there usual shops, restaurants and small supermarkets. (there were fridges in our room so great for stocking cold drinks.)

We found all of the staff to be spot on especially Lee (English lady who works in the dining hall - very good for any general queries) and Georgia who works in the bars.

Summing up a great hotel and awesome location if you want to laze by the pool and the beach. If you want more than that then you might struggle here. Weather in the June half term is perfect 24-30 degrees.

We’ve just come back from 4 nights at Blue Dream. After this holiday being postponed for 2 years due to COVID, and the 5 star rating on the TUI website, I was going in with high expectations…

The food was pretty good and varied, never any complaints there. Always plenty of choice and nice quality. The drinks at the bar (which are on the expensive side) are great; they don’t skimp on alcohol. The pool area here is stunning and probably the best thing about the hotel. You also have direct access to a gorgeous beach.

However, our room was a bit dated and didn’t reflect the pictures on the website at all. In fact, a lot of the hotel seemed like it needed a bit of modernisation. There isn’t a whole lot to do around; no shops or bars anywhere near, so you have to taxi to the nearest town. We have a fair few dietary requirements between us and despite how lovely the food was, it wasn’t correctly labelled. Rooms had pretty thin walls in our experience as well; sleep was restless most nights. By far the worst thing is that you have to pay for pretty much everything; towels, certain sun beds, drinks at dinner. You aren’t allowed to consume anything onsite that you’ve purchased in town - one day we were even told off by staff for bringing our own water to the pool area. All of the above is not what you’d expect from a “five star” hotel.

The transfer is also a bit of a slog - would probably not recommend coming here for any less than a week.

Overall, it’s nice enough with a lovely outside area and gorgeous beach views. But their strict rules, lack of local amenities and the need to pay for every single thing, left me wishing for a little more. Just doesn’t really seem like TUI’s 5 star rating is justified, from our experience.
