Me and my family stayed here for 1 night on 1st Feb 2020. We were greeted with beaming smiles from Jane and Andy. Check in was a breeze. We stayed in the family room which has more than enough room for 4 of us (Children 4 and 1). It was really clean and tidy. Fridge provided in the room which was really handy for drinks and Hollys milk. The rooms were nicely heated with an additional heater if required. A fan is also provided in the room should you be stopping in the summer months. The bed was really comfy and clean.

Breakfast was a delight. You have a choice of all types of breakfast, cooked, cereals and salad bowls. The breakfast is cooked to order and was one of the best cooked breakfasts Ive had ever. The girls had cereal and toast, with Andy producing his infamous Jenga toast for Holly!!

We've really had a great time and I would highly recommend staying here at any time during the year, whatever the weather The Cross Guest House is the best hotel/ B&B we have stopped in.

Hi all, great to hear from you, and wow, what a lovely review. It was lovely to meet you all and we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. We are so lucky that our job enables us to meet interesting and nice people, with the added bonus of getting to mess about and be immature when kids stay. Many thanks again, we hope to see you all soon. Be good, Andy and Jane.

Once again the Cross Guest House has come up trumps. The owners Jane & Andy totally made our trip relaxing by their strict covid policy.
Everything was immaculate and we felt totally safe eating our breakfast in the beautiful breakfast room. They wore masks at all times and did everything they could to make us feel at ease.

The breakfasts are amazing and the quality of the food is superb as is the service .
Nothing is too much trouble .

The gardens and surrounds are beautifully kept and it was a pleasure to sit and relax in it.
What a lovely family you are and both Andy & Jane work brilliantly as a team.

You all should be very proud of your place as i'm sure you are .
Thank you

Hi both, what a great review, you are very kind. We still love doing what we do and enjoying seeing people have a good experience. It is strange times but we are all trying to adapt and change as things keep evolving. It was lovely to see you again and we are blessed that we have great guests that want to return in these trying times which helps us stay in business. Don’t leave it too long before we see you again, and we hope your eyes have recovered! Many thanks again, And and Jane.

I visited the Cross Guest House last week for a few days with my daughter and I cant thank Andy and Jane enough for making us feel so welcome. From the moment we booked we received a text saying they're looking forward to welcoming us and the costs for breakfast if wanted it. The first day I received another text stating the room was ready (2 hours earlier than advised check in) and upon arrival Andy and Jane took the time to discuss things like the best local restaurants, mini-golf, splash park, beaches, supermarkets and where we could go to enjoy our stay. We found this so useful and took them up on all their advice and were not disappointed! The sea front was only a 20 min walk and basically straight down the road which was nice especially on the hotter days and saved on car parking in the town centre. The room was beautifully clean and tidy and the beds were very comfortable. The site itself is beautifully maintained with lawns cut, plenty of flowers and very clean. We took them up on the offer of breakfast and Andy and Jane went out of their way to give my daughter her own princess plate and mug and were were made to feel so welcomed, there was no rush and breakfast was very nice!

I couldn't recommend this place enough, I also thought it was very reasonably priced for the time of year which is another reason why I picked it. Anybody travelling to Mablethorpe and wanting to stay local then you wont go wring with staying at The Cross Guest House! We will definitely be back next year!

Hi, wow, what a wonderful review. It was great to meet the two of you and we are so pleased you enjoyed the stay here and the delights of Mablethorpe. We have some great unspoiled beaches and reserves local to us, and the seals at Donna Nook are a must see in the winter months. Thanks again and we hope to see the two of you again soon. The Cross Guest house was a jewel in the crown we stayed in the blue and brown rooms both of which were immaculate everything you needed was there including a fridge, fan , electric heater if you wanted it on although this wasn’t necessary as the central heating came on which meant we were lovely and warm.
Andy and Jane who own The Cross are brilliant hosts very friendly nothing is too much trouble for them, their breakfasts are delicious with such a great selection.
We would highly recommend staying there and we will return next time we are that way.

The Cross Guest House was a truly great find, we arrived to spacious car parking. Reception was well sign posted as well, we were in our Accessible room within minutes.

The room was large and airy, very clean and a huge Super king bed with quality bedding and spotlessly clean. Everything you need was supplied and even a small fridge that was a nice touch.

Breakfast was exceptional, local bacon and sausage and lovely fresh eggs every day, if you wish or plenty of other items to choose from , fresh juices, and lovely homemade jams and marmalade.

The Hosts Andy, Jane and family were superb and nothing was too much trouble.
Would highly recommend a stay at this guest house. Excellent, thought out COVID 19 information are in place in order to make everyone feel safe and comfortable.

We stayed in the Blue room.
The weather was cold but when we entered the room it was so warm and cosy and welcoming we felt at home.
The room was spotless and we had everything we needed..

The bed is so comfy and big ,i usually have problems sleeping in different beds but i slept soundly with the comfy pillows.

Breakfast was excellent and the hospitality amazing.
Andy and Jane are brilliant hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them .

Have just had a fantastic 4 night stay at this excellent guest house. Andy and Jane are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Spacious ensuite bedrooms with an ample supply of refreshments also a fridge to keep milk and water arc cool. Extremely comfy king size bed and after a good night's sleep wake up to a very varied breakfast menu where there is something to suit everyone's taste.with all courses served to the table rather than the often buffet set up. I have stayed in many establishments in the area and I can guarantee this is by far the best. Already looking forward to my next visit in November and future reservations in 2023. Excellent value for money.

Wow, what can I say? A gem of a guest house. Stayed for 2 nights and nothing was too much trouble. Jane is a beautiful host. My first impression was, this looks lovely and I was not disappointed. Each room has its own little garden area with seating outside. Jane showed me to my room (or rather suite) which was huge and immaculate. Decorated to a really high standard. I don't like to live out of my suitcase even for a short stay so was very pleased with a proper wardrobe and drawers. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. A dressing table with big mirror and hairdryer provided. The fridge and tea making facilities were great. The bathroom was very clean and the towels were beautiful and soft. USB sockets available to charge devices. I think they had thought of everything.
Breakfast was delicious with a choice of cereal, fruit loaf, fruit etc to start followed by a choice of full English, omelette, toast, etc fresh coffee or tea etc etc.. Served in the cosy dining room. Was really made to feel welcome and the other guests were regular visitors. I would definitely recommend and will be booking to stay again when the Seals return to Donna Nook.
Only a mile from the beach at Mablethorpe and a short drive to Donna Nook Nature reserve or to the busier Skegness just 16 miles.

Words can not do this place justice. It was our first trip away with our little one, which my wife and I were worried about.

Andy and Jane were the perfect hosts, going the extra mile to try and say hello every morning, explaining what was in the area what to do and chat with us and helping where ever they could, (never had this before but even offered us lifts to the centre as we dont drive), the rooms immaculate well stocked with things for drinks the beds are huge and comfortable, a heater was also provided for if it got cold but the room was overall warm.

I left my key on the outside of the door a lot of places would come and knock on the door but not Andy and Jane they sent a text message to let us know and with a 6 month old baby I really appreciate that.

I would recommend this accommodation to anyone it was heaven, we will definitely be returning, it is a must stay if travelling to Mablethorpe, and the views in the area are outstanding

Thank you for making our first holiday together special.

This was our third stay at the Cross Guest House and we found Jane and Andy as helpful and obliging as before. The breakfast is exceptionally good value, we have full breakfast and Salmon. Also with fruit, yogurt and toast etc. We stayed in the disabled room which is very good for physically disabled people (no photo ) the Wet Room is very disabled friendly. Very large bed and very clean. The other rooms looked very luxurious. The surroundings are very rural and there is a main road we used to the sea front to avoid going through the town centre. We park the car in a car park here and know we have all day. Highly recommended

Hi, many thanks for the enquiry. Sorry to say we are already booked for the Saturday night. We can do the Friday or Sunday if that helps? The first available Saturday we have is the 6th April. You could try mablethorpeinfo for a good list of guest houses in the area. Good luck, we hope you get sorted. Andy

Hi Amy, many thanks for the message. Sorry to say we are already full that weekend due to the Bank Holiday. We do have a room available for the weekend before if that helps? If not try Grange Farm House. The kids will love the outdoor play equipment and the animals. Hope you get sorted and thanks again for the mail, Andy.
