The Waters is a wonderful property. The modern bungalows are spacious and nicely appointed. The king size bed is incredibly comfortable. The accommodation are unique with floor to ceiling windows on each side. On one side a view of the pond and the other a view of the sea. As wonderful as the property is, so is its hostess, Claire.... Hello and a very big thank you to you for being such lovely guests in what were trying times from nature. I am pleased to think that you were looked after well and felt supported over this time, my pleasure! The suites are unique I think so too, private but with our family nearby, glass each side to enjoy the... More

First class accommodation. Ideally located for Abel Tasman Park. Nearby restaurants (10 min or so drive). Comfy bed and sitting area. The addition of a club chair would be nice. Great views of the sea. Easy walk to beach. Nice breakfast. Claire booked a hike in the Park for us along with other suggestions. One of the nicest stays on... More

Hi Thanks for the great review and for your suggestion. We shall research the idea of the club chair in addition to the sofa within the suite. Very glad you liked the breakfast which is just a bit different at The Waters. More

Had an amazing time at the Waters. Everything was amazing - the lodge, the view, the free range ducks and the warm welcome from the hosts. Truly enjoyed my time and it allowed us to get to the water taxi within 15 mins.. great location!

We stayed here for 4 nights and each day took day trips to Abel Tasman (30 minutes away). It was an absolutely beautiful property with gorgeous views from our room. The property is right in the middle of an olive grove and a cliff over looking the ocean. In the evening we went down to the ocean to walk along... More

Thank you so much for the lovely review. We are pleased it was the "romantic little spot" for you. Nelson on a sunny winters day is lovely with calm seas and less crowded tourist attractions. We are experiencing increased vistors in the shoulder and low seasons. More

This property has three one bedroom studios. Decided in the center with the bed "room" having its own patio over the pond and the living area with uninterrupted views of the small patio, large lawn, and ocean just beyond. Beautiful modern decor with all the expected amenities, except for AirCon which is not actually expected on the South Island. Lucky,... More

Thank you for your great review. It is a lovely setting and we are pleased you enjoyed the surrroundings and style of the suites. Often in the summer there is a sea breeze and with the high windows this does allow airflow through the suite as you say. Our Aria suite has a disability bathroom and ramp. More

We only spent two nights here but wish we could have stayed longer! It's one of those rare places where you feel cocooned from the rest of the world. Loved the beach and its cliffs which was just outside our door. Water views of the beach and the pond were a pleasure, not to mention being in the middle of olive trees and vineyards. The units were excellent and comfortable. A very relaxed feeling was created by Claire and her husband. Enjoyed being an easy drive to Kaiteriteri Beach... More

Thank you for your lovely review. This really is a special location, and one of the few actual beach front locations in this region. We are glad that you thought it a pleasure. We arrived amidst a fierce storm. Claire was at the car straight away helping us to our beautiful studio apartment. Settled us in and put in the heating. Thanks for the great review. It is wonderful helping people to explore this region. I often ask. "How was your day?" After people return from the National Parks in this region and always the answer is the same. "Just fantastic!" That makes me smile. Regards Claire More
