There is no negative comments for this hotel. It is fantastic in every way, The rooms are spotless, cleaned everyday also white fluffy towels, beach towels and bed was changed everyday. The staff from the cleaners to the restaurant are all so friendly and can’t do enough for you. The buffet breakfast was amazing with every possible thing you could want. The evening buffet was also first class with a lovely selection of food. The hotel is right on the beach which is a bit pebbly but still lovely. The two guys who were always walking up and down the beach, Pavlov and Marious to see if you wanted drinks or anything. They were two lovely guys and so friendly. We did have some meals in the Alexander Beach (facilities you can also use) the staff again were very friendly and the food excellent.
All in all can’t fault either hotel although the Elegance was definitely 5 star. It only opened this year so it’s hoped it’s standards always remain.

We spent 2 weeks here with our 16 year old son, the reason for choosing this hotel was the ethos of spending the last holidays with your teenage children.

So I do need to say the cons first, there isn't a teen zone with faster WiFi, there isn't water sports to try once for free as listed on website/tui and the roof bar at the sister hotel which was a lovely place to sit for a drink when we came before was closed we were told because of covid.

Having said this please do not let this change your mind about this hotel, as from the moment we arrived we relaxed. The room was spotless and cleaned twice a day we had a room with its own pool which we would definitely recommend, Elena
seemed to be in charge of the guests and
would do anything asked of her. We could have champagne breakfast in bed once a week this was heaven and a really lovely touch. We had clean beach towels left each day with a lovely bag to put them in. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, the breakfast was amazing with lots of choice and some different cooked things every day, however if you wanted something different you could ask. We felt really looked after

The pool area was quiet which was nice no young children there, although the English schools hadn't broken up when we were there, but it's small, the infinity pool has an amazing view, there was no fighting for sunbeds we could go whatever time we wanted and there was a great bar service.

The beach is pebbly I would recommend those rubber beach shoes, there were
plenty of sunbeds here too, there is a beach bar serving snacks and light meals and service can be summoned with a red button on the parasol again a lovely touch. There is a pontoon out into the sea.

Overall we had an amazing holiday and decided this was one of the best hotels we have stayed in in Europe, it exceeded our expectations even with the disappointment of the missing amenities.

The Alexandra Elegance Hotel in Thassos, Greece is an excellent choice for travellers who want to relax and unwind by the beach. The hotel is situated in an idyllic location, immediately next to a beautiful pebble beach with very clear waters.

Staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful, and they go out of their way to make sure guests' needs are met. We arrived at the hotel a bit earlier than expected, and were warmly greeted and offered drinks at the bar while waiting for our room to be prepared. Another very pleasant surprise was when my wife made a somewhat detailed drink order from one waitress, and the next day a different waiter knew it already, saving us the trouble to explain it again.

The restaurant and pool bar provide excellent service and the food is worth mentioning, as it is well prepared and presented. In addition to selecting a main course from a daily changing à la carte menu, there is a large buffet including local delicacies. The all inclusive covers most things on the menus, and there are star symbols on the menus that clearly mark the included items. You can also grab drinks from the pool bar to take to your private pool.

The rooms are clean and in good condition. Even though the room was spacious, it would benefit from some more storage for clothes and hooks to hang up clothes and towels. The rooms are equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay, including good air conditioning. The only drawback of this hotel is the thin walls, which can sometimes be a bit noisy due to the shared walls with neighboring rooms.

The hotel has a private beach, and we spent a lot of time swimming and snorkeling. The beach is also equipped with sun loungers and parasols reserved for hotel guests. We never had any trouble finding a free sun chair.

There is a nearby town called Limenaria, where you can find cafés, restaurants, and shops. The walk from Limenaria to the hotel (along the footpath, not along the road) is worth it for the splendid views, but it can get very hot while the sun is up and a part of the route near Limenaria lacks streetlights. Taking a taxi to and from Limenaria is a good alternative if you don't feel like walking. There are also cute shops very close by in the village of Potos. However, there are no museums, ancient ruins, or other sights of that type nearby.

Overall, the Alexandra Elegance Hotel is an excellent choice for those who want to relax, indulge in good food, and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings of the region. The hotel's facilities and services make it a great option for those looking for a tranquil and relaxing getaway.

We have just spent two weeks at Alexandra Elegance , I can honestly say this is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at , the rooms and pool area are fantastic, housekeeping is amazing coming round morning and night changing towels , robes and bathroom products (Molton Brown) . We stayed Bed and Breakfast which suited us perfectly as two villages are walkable in either direction and have a variety of bars and Tavernas however breakfast was a pleasure, staff were lovely and made us feel so welcome and food was excellent, we ate Al a carte In restaurant occasionally and that to was excellent quality with impeccable service , all in all no negatives and would like to thank all staff in every job for making us feel so relaxed and spoilt. Would definitely recommend.

We have just come back from a 10 day stay at this resort, and had an amazing time. The 5 star hotel is beautiful, staff are friendly and the surrounding area's a must see. Room service in particular is what you expect from a hotel of this standard, rooms cleaned each morning and an additional towel change in the evening. We only stayed bed and breakfast but there was an excellent choice for breakfast we didn't go hungry. Due to it being our Honeymoon we were treated to additional delights in our room and a day on the Barley bed with a free bottle of proseco and bowl of fruit etc. The only critique we might add is that this was the hotels first proper season so there are some snagging lists that need completing and the shower leaks over the tray ( we managed with towels) however the hotel is aware and are dealing with this.
Thank you everyone at the Alexandra Elegance for making out stay so memorable.

We spent a week in the new Alexandra Elegance, near Potos. We booked a room with a private pool, which did not disappoint. The size of the pool was perfect, the patio and room size were generous.

The common pools and restaurant areas provided for great oportunities to relax, not being noisy of crowded at all.

Food was varied and tasty. We loved the idea of the hotel having its own veggie and aromatic plants garden.

The staff was always available, smiling and helpful.

The beach is rocky, but clean and wide, while Potos sandy beach is only 10 mins by foot away.

The Alexandra Elegance is a beautiful place with all the comforts and a beautiful beach with free sunbeds and umbrellas available for guests where the sea is clear and full of fish. The infinity pool overlooking the sea is a gem not to be missed.

The rooms are brand new and tastefully furnished. We were a bit unlucky because they gave us a room with a leaking shower and the bathroom flooded, but they tried to fix it by sending a technician and giving us more mats to try to stop the problem. However, the sea view made our aperitifs on the balcony at sunset a significant plus that made the problem overshadow the problem!

10 out of 10 for breakfast and the Gucci bar where we had lunch a couple of times, while unfortunately the tavern restaurant was really very disappointing. The food is terrible and the service is questionable and it's a real shame given that it has a splendid view and considering that it is located in a structure that calls itself 5 stars it is not really the level you expect. I sincerely hope they will improve it.

In general the service was good, the staff were all very kind and helpful even if sometimes we had the impression that they were literally lost in a glass of water (glasses and cups not changed in the room after being used for example) but nothing serious.

The location is excellent because the structure is located just outside the town of Potos where you can easily go on foot, so you are not in the relative confusion of the town but you still have everything at hand.

We stayed in a pool room, 2 adults, 2children. This small hotel is big on service & cleanliness. We were wowed by the room when we arrived, the pool was lovely and welcome in the Greek summer heat.
Athena who greeted us couldn’t have been more welcoming, we received a complimentary massage each and anyone over 10 could experience scuba diving in Pefkori. My massage was good enough I returned for a second later in the week. The diving was fantastic and we didn’t even get charged for our photos, all complimentary.
We ate in the main restaurant for all meals, lovely fresh buffet selection with specials and also an a La carte menu. Service was attentive and friendly.
The pool area was clean and lifeguard present. Never overly busy.
The beach is pebbled and the sea clean plenty of fish/crabs to spot.
Pefkori and Potos are in walking distance if you want a wander, local shop/taverna prices are reasonable.
We had a lovely stay and would love to return

The quality of the services, the design of the villas, the Zen atmosphere of the hotel and its surrounding, the attention to details, the perfect cleanliness (cleaning staff comes twice a day), the personnel attention, the quality of the restaurants, all of these made our vacation to be memorable and unforgettable.

Water sports facilities are available on the beach. Private parking is provided for free.

With all our sincerity we say that Alexandra Elegance hotel is the number 1 choice for us when coming to Thassos.

We stayed here as a couple in early June 2004.

We arrived at the sister hotel for check in and we were quickly taken to the Elegance in a golf buggy with our luggage, for a simple check in whilst we enjoyed a welcome drink by the pool.

The Hotel itself is spotlessly clean and well maintained. Rooms were very luxurious and our private pool was heaven with sun-loungers and comfortable patio furniture provided around it.

The sea views around the hotel and from the restaurant are magnificent.
We stayed on an all inclusive basis and we were not disappointed at all. All drinks are known international brands and the barman was great at creating some lovely cocktails, both from the list and more bespoke ones.

The food here really is excellent with a choice of buffet and a la carte menus, the focus here seems to be on quality over quantity but there is always a good selection to choose from, including some lovely traditional Greek dishes every day.
There is the option to eat in the Greek taverna next door but we didn't take that option as we found the onsite restaurant had all we needed.

The beach was shingle but nice and there is an area reserved specifically for guests at the Elegance. A nice beach bar down there serving drinks and more cocktails.
There is a water-sports centre right on the beach offering all the usual water sports plus motorboat hire (highly recommended) at reasonable prices.
The only slight moan would be that the very short walk to the beach (50 yards or so) could do with a little TLC.

The hotel has a really laid back vibe every where and was so laid back. If you wanted a bit more life, the village of Potos is literally a five minute walk away.

Overall though, the thing that really makes this hotel is the staff. Every single one of them is a credit to the hotel, always smiling and friendly and really cant do enough for you. Every request we had was dealt with with a smile and we really felt welcome here.
The staff treat us more like friends than hotel guests.

Would definitely recommend a stay here if you are looking for a relaxing holiday and we have already recommended to our friends.

Thank you Alexandra Elegance for fantastic holiday.

There was a kids menu when we were there. My teen sometimes ate from that and sometimes from the adult menu. It had did have things such as chicken nuggets and chips. However, these were made with small pieces of breaded chicken breast though not reconstituted meat such as the type you get in fast food restaurants. Was also pasta and pizza .I can't remember if this was at every meal though. I think you can find the menus online. There were also burgers etc at the pool bar .,. again the menu was on the hotel website.
