We stayed here for 8 days and had a lovely time. The stay is in a quiet location where there is little else to do, so you need a car 100%. We were deliberately looking for this peace.
The 8 houses are on a beautifully landscaped site, have a lovely private swimming bed and the privacy is more than good. All bedrooms have air conditioning and it contains a kitchenette.
The house where we stayed was built in 2007, but for such a young house the maintenance started to become overdue.
The shower/bath combination is a drama, no pressure and only scorching hot or freezing cold. You can't bring the kitchen much, because you only have 2 pans. The pool was once not primed properly or something, because the blue top layer comes off and releases so you have blue feet every time after swimming. The beds need to be replaced. The cleaners come by every day, which is very neat, but it looks like they never clean the house completely.
All in all a wonderful stay, but money needs to be pumped in to make it completely up-to-date again and to maintain it better. If they do, it really is a gem, if they don't, they can start renovating it in 20 years.
PS: the hostess is very sweet and does her stinking best, but breakfast is tired of you after 2x, nothing.

We stayed in Villa Carolina for the weeks 7 to 21 June. The villa is massive and only being two of us there was loads of room. We liked the rustic style of decor and the seating in the living room was excellent and would easily accommodate four adults. The kitchen was well equipped with the best fridge/freezer we have had in any self catering accommodation both in Greece and Spain. Bedrooms have the air conditioning which worked well. We used the double bedroom and the bed was very large and comfortable. Pool area was great, but the sun lounges need some attention, tho we managed fine. The pool was serviced twice a day and was kept really clean. Bins were emptied daily, linen and towels every three days We used the onsite restaurant on the first night. Whilst it was pleasant it was nothing special, but we prefer to cook in or eat out during the day anyway. Shame there’s no seating on the balcony. All in all a great place to tour the island.

Amazing villas with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The owners are fantastic and always around if you need them. Our villa was beautiful with a huge pool which even had some inflatables available for us to use. We had air conditioning throughout the house, comfortable beds, cooking facilities although we didn’t use them, washing machine, and clean towels every few days. There’s also a restaurant on site which serves food most of the day. We were a family of 4 so lots of space and we would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Zante!

We have just got back from a lovely week at Aresti Villas. The 'complex' itself is stunning with olive trees & lime trees scattered about. A lovely restaurant, great Greek night on a Wednesday, little playground, charming restaurant, attentive staff & everything you could need in the villa. We stayed in Carolina & had aircon in both bedrooms, a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, toaster, oven, microwave etc so fully equipped. Wifi throughout which worked well. My daughter liked to visit the chickens & visit the dogs too.
In a great location, 5 mins drive from Alykes/Alykanas & about 10-15 mins from Zante Town. Supermarket just down the road & mini market & coffee shop also situated in Agios Dimitrius village.
Only downside was the mozzies. We are covered in bites. Pool was always clean & lovely to have our own. It was deep though so we had to watch our 2 year old like a hawk. Really hoping to visit again next year.

We stayed in artemis villa but it had problems firstly the electric dropped a phaze but when I went to reception to complain at 23.20 at night the reply I got was "go to bed it will be ok in the morning" which it wasn't so complained again in the morning they got a electrician out to sort it.he done a temporary fix by joining wires together in the fuse box ?????? Then 3 days later the pump which skims the scum off the pool stopped working for two days when I complained about it the lady that is running it said smile your on holiday and just kept saying it was because they had a power cut which was her go to excuse for everything so they got a electrician out again that done something to the electrics in the pool and got it working and fixed fuse box so I was told we can not use the pool untill the next day??? There is mould in the cupboard in the kitchen and a slug in there.it was a average villa but it's in a good spot not far from Zante, airport, kalamaki etc etc just lacking attention to detail am hoping it was just bad luck on our part.i understand things go wrong that's fine but don't think the go to bed comment, and smile your on holiday is good enough we paid a lot of money for the villa so a pool that is useable is a must.maybe they should work on there customer service because it's pretty poor. BEWARE we where asked to pay a tourist tax when checking out was 1 euro a night so not a lot but I don't think we should of been charged it only paid it because I wanted to get out there.

It was our first Villa experience and we were pleasantly surprised! Booked Chryssa villa with TUI and got free car hire (via Enterprise collection at the airport). The drive was easy (about 15-20 mins) to the villa. The manager welcomed us and showed us around, maids visit every 3 days, pool up kept daily before we were up! The villa used to be the owners so different from the others (all on one level, large gardens & bigger pool I believe!) First villa on your left when you enter (nearer the road but didnt bother us!) Greek night on a Wednesday evening €18 per person, great experience with dancing and traditional music! 10 min drive to Alykanas & Alykes for beach, shops, bakeries, and lots of supermarkets nearby (5-10 mins for big ones like Proton). We visited Zante water park (10 min drive) although a bit expensive €66 for 2 adults & 1 child) but a good day out!

The reception is mediocre and certainly not the experience as described in the description at Ilisa was here. The location on site is good lovely a private pool. In the cottage everything is old and certainly the utensils. The bathrooms are poorly maintained If one has sleepers upstairs this creaks very bothersome and one wakes up every night. Several times when returning from a nice day there were bats in the rooms. The park is hidden behind a wall in a somewhat less beautiful part of Zakynthos the road to it is full of junk old cars and lots of dirt. the experience of the park is far to be sought very simple and no promised Greek evening. There is only one teacher who takes care of everything. Breakfast sucks Everyone gets a plate with some slices of bread with some luck importance and something of an egg So for us never again Zakynthos and certainly not here. I had faith in Eliza was here but never book here again and even several times to try to reach Eliza but no message

I went to this villa complex with 3 other girl friends in June 2019 with TUI holidays. It was amazing and so much better than we could have imagined.
TUI flights ran on time and we had airport on site parking included which went smoothly. We had car hire included which was a good size (be aware you have to put down a large deposit when you get this which you get back if all in good order).
The villa was about 20 minutes from the airport and you have a code to get into the main gate (watch out for the turning we couldn't find it at first there is a red wall). We were given our key from reception (the restaurant) and found our parking space by our villa.
The complex is lovely relaxing and rustic each villa feels very private and has a spacious front room and kitchen (ours Dimitri Villa) had 1 en suite bedroom downstairs and 2 twin upstairs with the bathroom 1 bedroom had a spacious balcony overlooking countryside. There was a large patio garden area with space for tables, chairs and sun loungers with a large pool. The villa was cleaned daily and pool and garden area maintained daily with friendly staff. The beds were not very comfortable but they were clean and it would not stop me coming back (I am booked for 2 weeks this time)!
The villa complex is just so lovely and peaceful and the on site restaurant is incredible and the lovely Maria (she really made the holiday amazing and is so friendly and accommodating) runs this and she and the food are amazing!! They held a Greek Night (were locals could also attend) and you got a 3 course meal and unlimited beer/wine for £15.00 and there were Greek dancers, fire show etc definitely put your name down for this.
Within a 10/15 minute drive from the villa you can get to Supermarkets, beach, bars, restaurants, shops etc (you can buy lilos for about £5). There are plenty of places with all sorts of activities and tours to go and explore either jump in the car and explore yourself or you can book excursions with TUI or in the town locally.
I would recommend these villas to everyone they are perfect and if I didn't ever have to leave I wouldn't me and my friends cannot wait for May for our 2 lovely weeks in our little slice of heaven <3 <3 <3

We stayed in Carolina. The location and views are amazing, however the accommodation is way below standard. So dated and in desperate need of updating. ALL the outside pool furniture is broken and fell apart in my hand, the dining chairs are all broken and not fit for purpose. The pool is constantly cloudy and although “cleaned” most days we never once saw him test the water or treat it. Inside, I hated the decor and furniture as it’s so old, I get some people may like the typical rustic Greek style, it’s not for me and I found it dark and oppressive, but again everything is broken you touch, no smoke alarm! It’s made of wood! Cleaners came in for 8 minutes once, so it got dusty very quickly. The lady is lovely and tries her best, However she does everything, including cooking, my husband got sick after eating in the restaurant. The owner sits inside the restaurant, while we were eating, smoking! Again I know their Greek!! But it’s Greek law to not smoke inside and unhygienic. It’s off the beaten track and you will need a car. Definitely not suitable for children as far too many hazards. But if it’s pretty views your after you’ll get that in abundance!
