Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed here last weekend. We’d been to the nearby and stunningly beautiful beach many times. The campsite is fairly large, not boggy and being near the sea the midges absent. Owner very friendly and cooking area and showers very modern and clean. Beautiful views to sea. Loved this place.

Just spent a night at this exceptional site. Beautiful views over Tralee Bay, a short walk to a sandy beach (almost deserted), local chippy nearby. The owner has given his site the 5 star treatment. Toilets and showers are immaculate. You can buy frozen curries on site and reheat them eat in his small dining area, great if arriving unprepared. £18 for our campervan, plus 2 people and £1 for the showers. This site is a real treasure and we can't wait to return.

Had a lovely 3 night stay at this site. The facilities are immaculate, quirky and with a beautiful beach just 5 mins walk, it’s perfect. The owner Duncan was very welcoming and friendly on our arrival.
The village of Benderloch is around 10 miles outside Oban, it had a cycle track that you can cycle into Oban or up to Ballachulish or a bus stop into Oban that takes around 30 mins.
For walkers there’s the Ben Lora hill that you can access a short walk from the site too,the views are fantastic.
All round plenty to do. Lovely site and can’t wait to stay again.

This is our third tour of the west coast of Scotland, we fancied seeing what Oban had to offer and stayed at Seaview Caravan Park. It was bank holiday weekend but we were still welcomed (we booked the night before).
We had a warm welcome and were shown to our pitch by the owner. They had a wide range of home made frozen curries and fresh cheesecakes on offer, we had already brought our food so didn’t take advantage of these.
Shower tokens were £1 each for 10m.
We stayed here in our T5, with our three dogs.
Just a short walk out the gate to the beach, this track was pretty secure to let the dogs off once passed the houses, sheep in the fields either side but straight down through the metal gate to the sand dunes and beach. Lovely beach to tire the dogs out on.
Toilets and showers were great, very clean, very large with plenty of room for families.
Reasonable cost, especially for BH weekend.

Oban is quite a touristy town, this was not quite what we were looking for, but had a Tesco to pick up some supplies for our onwards journey.

Very quiet and beautiful view.. you sleep hearing the tide come in.

Beautiful, simple campsite near the shore just North of Oban. This is a simple campsite in a beautiful location. The toilets and showers are immaculately clean, and the beach is just 5 minutes walk. Your incredibly friendly, laid back host, Duncan will make you feel very welcome

This is probably the best little site I have ever visited with absolutely stunning views over the loch. Beach accessible from the site. Facilities immaculate, selection of frozen meals to buy and a selection of books and DVDs to borrow. A real little gem of of a place and one to return to!

We're touring Scotland and needed an overnight stop! What a find quiet, lovely views, clean site and great facilties. Absolutely perfect! Actually wish we could have stayed longer. The owners are lovely and care very much for the site. Its a bit off the beaten track but that's to its advantage. Fabulous can't thank you enough!

I had previously taken our caravan to the site at North Ledaig which was great apart from too far to walk to the toilets, too few toilets, 10 amp hook up and smallish pitches. The kids did love being on the beach but there were just too many cars driving up and down to the toilet due to being so far away! We are now travelling with friends who are in a tent so had to look for somewhere else in the area so thought we'd take a chance on this site given it had good reviews from others. All I can say is that I am so glad we are here! We booked for 4 nights and have now extended that to 7. There are some things about this site that some would say are basic - but that is what makes it perfect. It is small, quiet and has a lovely view over the bay. The major wins on this site are really the owners and how much care and attention they put into the place. Duncan welcomed us in person on a rainy afternoon - he helped us to our pitch and could not have been more pleasant. Since then he always has a welcoming smile and chat and he and his wife keep the site in pristine condition.

There are 2 amenities blocks - one with 3 of each ladies and gents toilets, the other with a dish washing room, ladies and gents loo and 3 showers. All are absolutely spotless and well cared for. There is also another communal room with a few tables, microwave and fridges/freezer. There is a little bit of woodland to walk the dogs and also a track down to Tralee Beach which is just beautiful. Hookup is 16 amps, great recycling/waste bin area and an area for chemical waste/grey water. We are travelling with kids and were worried that there was no park on site - no need to worry - they are just loving running around the site and playing their own games.

This is a family run site and it shows - the owners just care a lot about it. All the little touches make it just perfect. We will definitely be back to this site in the future and looking forward to our last 4 nights here this visit.

Don’t go to Seaview. North Ledaig in Connell is a much nicer site. The man whom owns Seaview site is abusive
