Arrived without a booking and with two dogs in tow en route from Skye heading home to Southern England. Very welcoming hosts who were able to offer a comfortable room at a reasonable price. Excellently situated near a dog friendly beach. Very good breakfast in good company. Highly recommended and would make a good base for touring the Western Highlands

We stayed with June at Hawthorn Cottages in July just for one night to celebrate my husband's birthday so we wanted a reservation with the neext door restaurant - both parties very helpful. Lovely location for the B&B, 5 star for space, cleanliness, friendliness of hosts and good choice for breakfasts - wifi really did not happen anywhere - which...

We stayed just one night on our tour of western Scotland and found it clean and comfortable with all the amenities you could need in a B and B. Breakfast was lovely but early 8 to half past and ordered the previous evening . I agree with previous review about this being more for the convenience of the owners ....

Stayed 2 x nights, 21/22 September. A great quiet farm location and only 10 minutes from Oban. Room large and very comfortable, all quality furnishings. Breakfast first class. Restaurant about 100 metres away (not part of the B&B) was excellent. Hosts June and Willie very obliging. Would definitely stay again.
