Currently still here. On the second night of a two night break. Nothing is too much trouble. Steam room amazing, room is large and comfortable, food is delicious and the staff - all of them are fantastic. My partner and I have stayed in many lovely hotels across the northwest and north wales. This one will not disappoint. Even the Operations Manager took the time to speak with us and bought us a drink. 100% got it right with this hotel.

We had a lovely stay at The Kinmel so relaxing, we had a couple of hours in Spa, afternoon tea then treatments followed by a lovely evening meal. The room was nice, big and very clean, all staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again. 2 happy and relaxed customers 👌🏻👍🏻

Most definitely NOT a four star hotel, 3 star at most. A tatty hotel, needs refreshing. Biggest shock: £7.60 for a lager? What an insult to locals who visit this place. If they charged 'normal' prices, they'd get more business at the bar. Should be ashamed of yourselves.

A group of us recently visited for a spa day with afternoon tea as one of our party was pregnant & didn't want a baby shower so we decide on a spa day with treatments, we all live locally & didn't even know about this hidden gem, we had a fantastic relaxing day & I had the best facial I've ever had (the glacier facial) it was amazing, after the facial we went to the relaxation room where we were presented with a sorbet & glass of water, the sorbet was gorgeous & what a lovely added unexpected touch, the relaxation room had tea & coffee also cookie & brownies, I've had spa days in lots of high end hotels & not had these little extra touches, we all loved it, and felt totally refreshed & relaxed afterwards. The afternoon tea was lovely complete with a glass of prosecco & a good selection of finger sandwiches, scones with jam, clotted cream & cakes, the lady serving it was lovely, we sat on the terrace in our dressing gowns overlooking the lovely gardens & view. We are going to return for another spa day with afternoon tea once the baby has been born to celebrate the new baby, and are all looking forward to visiting again. Would highly recommend a visit to this spa & hotel 5star treatment loved it

This is our third visit to The Kinmel as part of dancing group experience and on each occasion the hotel never fails to impress. The staff are fabulous. It is always busy with wedding parties and/or other celebrations but we have never felt neglected or second best to any of the other main guests. The rooms and beds are excellent. The food is always very good but on this occasion we all commented how delicious the fare was. Superb! Although situated close to the A 55 the hotel has a very calming peaceful feel and overall. Without hesitation I cannot recommend this hotel enough. A super experience. Thank you!

Lovely place, ideal as a base to go sightseeing. Room was adequate and a nice comfy bed and pillows. The gardens are beautiful. The only let down was the breakfast Minimal choices and the sausages were awful! Overall I didn’t think the price was competitive, slightly on the expensive side considering the breakfast was well below average. My dog was allowed in everywhere which was a huge bonus for anyone travelling with one.

My daughter had her wedding day and night here, the staff were brilliant, couldn't do enough for you and nothing was too much bother. The food and the service was exemplary Facilities were spot on. I didn't know what to expect but it exceeded all my expectations. From my experience I could not recommend them highly enough for a venue for wedding day and reception Thank you so much for putting on such a special day

I regularly stay at the Kinmel Hotel and Spa for work. As a business they have probably had in excess of £1500 worth of stays/ meals from me over the last 18 months. I find the hotel to have a nice frontage/ restaurant area, but basic with the rooms in need of some TLC and home comforts. I have attached photos but little extras like proper mugs on the tea try etc make all the difference. For premium prices, the rooms don’t mirror the expense, and I would not be wanting to stay for leisure and tolerate it for business. I always book an upstairs room because having been on a downstairs floor you can hear people walking around, and what with thin walls, it can make it difficult to sleep on upper and ground floors. The rooms could do with a makeover, in particular the small wall mounted TV's which when you are sat at any distance away from them are very difficult to see and for anybody who is sight impaired in any way they will struggle to sit on the sofa or in bed and watch TV because I would guess-timate the TV's to be 32 inches. Also during my stays the lift has often been out of commission which would make it extremely difficult for people with mobility issues as stairs are steep. Recently, I have been really disappointed in the way I have been treated over an incident, such that I will never return again. I travel with a small suitcase and when I came back home from a stay up there I realized that I had left my dressing gown- it was a small black thin dressing gown with a hood- I remembered exactly where I left it on a chair. I emailed the hotel for my invoice for my expenses, and also enquired as to whether or not the gown (as described above) had been handed in- I was told it wasn't. However I was 100% certain I left it there and knew exactly where it was, again, I emailed a week later nothing handed in. I wasn't prepared to let this drop so again a month later I emailed and enquired as to whether or not my gown had been handed in. Again I gave a description and was told that the only gown that had been handed in was a black one with a pattern on (mine was a plain one). Getting increasingly frustrated because I knew 100% that I had left the gown on the back of the chair, we had a bit of a stalemate as I suggested perhaps it hadn't been handed in by their staff. I again gave a description of the gown being a La Senza black gown with a hood. I was told there was only a black La Senza gown with a pattern (at this point I’m fairly certain it’s mine how many La Senza gowns get left) I asked for a screenshot and guess what after month and a half of my persistence I saw my dressing gown in the photo. The pattern they referred to was a small weave across the top on the inside of the garment. I said it had a hood and the receptionist said they didn't realize as they hadn’t bothered to turn it the right way and instead left it inside out. I felt it was all too much effort for them, if they had actually taken my enquiry seriously I could have had my gown back sooner. Anyway I was told that it was £10 to cover postage to have it returned to me. Alarm bells started ringing for several reasons- 1) after this fiasco having gone on for a month and a half I was surprised that they were going to charge me and considering how much business I put there way, 2) The pushing for my bank details 3) No way does it cost £10 to put a light dressing gown in a jiffy bag and send. I was so uncomfortable and it wasn’t sitting right the enthusiasm they were suddenly showing to getting my bank details, I said I would send a paid for jiffy envelope to them with full postage paid for them to return. At this point I was told there would still be a £10 charge, this time for somebody to go and put it in the post box. This is a light dressing gown that would not have cost £10 to post, this business is looking to profit from customers who leave items behind. I really felt reception were doing anything to get this £10 out of me. I eventually became so frustrated I told them to donate the gown to the charity shop and I would never stay with them again. So, I would pre-warn anybody that wants to stay at this mediocre hotel that they don't treat customers and regular customers at that, particularly well and I feel like I've been treated with nothing but contempt over this particular matter. After my final e-mail stating that they could donate the gown to the charity shop I haven't heard a peep out of them and I feel like I have no option but to write a review so other people don't incur the treatment I have. There are plenty of nicer hotels in Conway further along the coast and just for that little further drive I'm sure you will get better service.
