We stayed at the Secret Garden for 7 nights and had the most amazing time. Isobel, Peter and Pai made us feel welcome from the start and took great care in looking after us, we felt like guests rather than customers. While in the hotel we borrowed the complimentary bikes to cycle the short distance through the village and to...

Secret Garden is certainly the best place we have been during a voyage through Northern Thailand and Laos! A warm welcome for every guest, good food, a beautiful garden and nice bungalows are the ingredients for a nice stay. We stayed here our first week and never felt more welcome. So we booked 3 more days before our return flight....

We had this place recommended to us by a friend, it was everything she said it would be and everything the pictures portrayed, I really loved the detail they put into this place, the furniture, furnishings, the lanterns lit at night, you really felt at home. Peter, Pai and Isabel were so hospitable and cared for our every need. The...

Hi Abby, It is always something very special when we get guests through the recommendation of their family/friends - - knowing that their family/friends were here, and enjoyed their stay that they found it worthy of sharing/telling about to others. It is the best compliment! Thank you for taking the time our of your day to write a review for...

We spent the last leg of our 3 week SE Asia family holiday at the Secret Garden and it was such a wonderful place to stay. The Secret Garden was a dream to stay in and there is very little we could find fault with. The family that run it were extremely hospitable, knowledgeable and kind always. It's location of...

Hi Lehni, I am sorry my reply to your review comes a little late, but I am only getting around to replying to all of them now, as we've been a little occupied this month. Sometimes you tell yourself that you'll sit yourself down and get to all of them, but then something comes in between and you're back to...

Secret Garden is the best family resort in Chiang Mai. We stayed all over the city with our toddler, and to be honest it was challenging. However, Secret Garden Resort was like a welcoming second home for our family and they welcomed our young, noisey son with open arms. Isabel went above and beyond for our little family, helping in...

Hi Mel, Clive and River! I have been meaning to write to you after you checked out, as I wasn't able to say bye to you properly that evening - - it was such a hectic evening, and by the time things slowed down, it was late and I imagined you were most likely asleep already. Thanks for your email...

After trying different hotels in Chiang Mai we finally came across secret Garden - the place to be! True- It's outside chiang mai - but that's exactly why we loved it. There is a pick up for free and the rides in the city with the "with cars" are fun. And all the big activities are outside chiang Mai City...

I have stayed at Secret Garden Bungalows three times and love it there every time. It may be a little out of the way, but it is worth it to be away from the tall city buildings and noise of the city proper. Peter, Pai and Isabel are wonderful people, and the bungalows are paradise. Pai's food every night but...

I loved this little sanctuary so much that I decided to write my first review on trip advisor. This is a very friendly and relaxed family run, cosy and hassle free accommodation. I stayed here for three nights after a last minute booking which was pretty random. It's a short ride from Chiang Mai which is actually very nice as...

It is hard to know where to begin when describing this unique and beautiful place. I stumbled across Secret Garden a few years ago, when it was still listed as a Chiang Mai resort and knew immediately that when I eventually brought my family to Thailand, this would be the first place we would stay. It was the best decision...
