We enjoyed our first stay at Domaine Cadignac in October of this year and it was a delightful experience in every way. Our gite was comfortable and beautifully decorated and set up with everything we needed to make a meal and relax in the large living room or sit on our balcony over looking a spectacular view of the fields and mountains in the distance. A perfect place to see the sun rise and set with amazing star gazing at night.

The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful with beautiful countryside and villages nearby to visit or stop to have a nice lunch or dinner. Uzès, a favorite small city of ours is a nice drive to visit for walking, shopping and great restaurants. Avignon is also a good day trip away with lots to explore and enjoy.

Esther and Leo are wonderful hosts, they have made this very special place even more special with the gardens, swimming pools and community terrace for sitting and enjoying the views any time of day. We found we could just stay and relax or go off on day trips for our own adventures. We will certainly be returning next year!

We stayed here for 2 weeks and had a lovely time. Togetther with our dog we made beautiful walks through the woods and winefields. The pool was great and we even had a small pool at our gite. Our hosts were very welcoming and helped us with info on restaurants and places to see. Domaine Cadignac is a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the french way of life!

When the winter painter arrived a week earlier, we suddenly had time to go to the south of France for two weeks. Domaine Cadignac still had room for guests during the period (April 27 - May 11) that we wanted to book. We immediately received an enthusiastic response from Esther and Leonard. The photos looked beautiful. However, the reality is even more beautiful. In a former wine farm, they have turned the former wine grower's home into a very comfortable Gite that is very attractively and practically furnished. The view is beautiful, nice furniture inside and on the terrace and a small swimming pool next door and a larger swimming pool with a lovely terrace 15 meters away.
The surroundings are also beautiful. Avignon, Nimes, Orange and Arles are nearby for culture lovers, Mont Ventoux for cyclists, the Gorges d'Ardèche for natural beauty, Uzès and many other places for wonderful French markets and you can walk everywhere. A highlight for us was the morning walk to Tresques where you can get bread every morning.

We came here for the second time and it really feels like coming home. What greenery and what peace. The trips to Nimes and Avignon in particular are a wonderful change from the peace and quiet around our apartment due to the cozy terraces and sights. We received good tips from Esther and Leo, who are always there for you, and this also led us to real French restaurants that we will definitely visit again. We would never have found them otherwise.

We had great weather, yes in April, and the pool is a lovely place to be with a view over the green valley. It is beautiful and wonderful to stay here.

'You can collect beautiful moments here'. We spent a weekend here in April 2023 and April 2024. The domaine has been very professionally and attractively renovated into a very luxurious residence with swimming pool! The overwhelming tranquility, the beautiful gite with all the privacy, the beautiful surroundings in combination with the care of the perfect host and hostess ensures that you can completely relax and enjoy yourself to the fullest! We also drove to beautiful towns such as Avignon and Nimes (Arena/Maison Carré) to enjoy the nice atmosphere, the nice bars and shops. If you can... check out the concert agenda at the Arena in Nimes. A music concert in that setting is unforgettable. You will keep coming back to Cadignac!

What an incredibly beautiful place to stay! When you arrive you immediately feel the peace. The view is fantastic and a beautiful sunset every evening. The apartment is equipped with all amenities and very tastefully decorated. Our apartment also had a “small” swimming pool so you can splash around during the day and sit with a glass of wine in the evening. A few steps further you also have a larger swimming pool at your disposal.

If you want to go out more, that is no problem at all. There are plenty of villages or other sights to visit. We have been there twice now and still haven't seen everything. If you are looking for tips, ask Esther and Leo, they are happy to help you. Very nice people and they make sure you don't miss anything. We have already booked for this year. Can't wait.

We visited Esther and Leo last December. What a wonderful place they have created: in three words: AMAZING. It is a piece of heaven on earth.
The gite is beautiful, spacious and wonderfully quiet. And the view and the starry sky at night are indescribable. Really great (but we had already written that).
Esther and Leo are wonderful hosts. They are very friendly and have good tips about the nice places in the area.
We will definitely come back! If only to take some olive oil with you ;-).

In the spring we will again go to a familiar place in the south of France. We had a very nice week in Tresques with Leo and Esther last year. They live in beautiful surroundings and manage a beautifully restored wine farm that now serves as a maison d'hôte.
You will be greeted warmly every day. You really feel welcome.
We look out over a hilly area with vineyards and in the distance the green tops of pin parasols, the whole is detached. There is a lot of privacy possible, but also space to meet each other. A beautiful swimming pool located on a lower terrace, where you can dream away and make you wish that time could stand still forever.
In the area we made beautiful trips to Orange, Avignon, Uzès and Nîmes. Beautiful historic places and nice walks in the nearby area. A variety of Provencal markets complete the picture.
Highly recommended and we are happy to be there again in the spring.

We stayed for two weeks on the Cadignac estate in Gîte Maison CARRÉE.
A modern and luxurious gite with all amenities. Located in the middle of the vineyards. Plenty of peace, space and beautiful views.

You can enjoy beautiful walks directly from the domaine. Beautiful places such as Avignon, Nimes and Uzes are within driving distance and in the immediate vicinity.

The owners, Esther and Leonard, are very hospitable and live on the estate that is perfectly maintained. There is plenty of space in the gardens (with fruit and olive trees) and the beautiful swimming pool to relax.

Once again we really enjoyed the location and your hospitality!

See you in 2024!

Pien, Susan and Cor
