We were able to stay just one night so only had one dinner and one breakfast at the property, which was a shame as the food was excellent, probably the best dinner we had during our two weeks in Ireland. It is a 5 star hotel pretending to be a 3 star! This is a solid hotel in terms of service, coziness and quality of rooms. To these will soon be added full high end amenities with the significant extension being undertaken. perfect food and great service , we enjoyed every single visit to the restaurant down the years - highly recommended.The views from the restaurant are stunning , in particular when you are an angler as you will see the trout rising on the lake...

The setting for this hotel is unbelievably beautiful. There is an ancient church and cemetery. There is a lovely walk nearby. The room was small, but charming and had all amenities. The food in the restaurant was amazing and delicious. The breakfast oatmeal had happy faces drawn in apple sauce or chocolate chips which shows the care and attention to...

Stayed here with a small group tour in October for a night. We would have loved to have stayed longer. Located in a place where one might find his soul, along a mountain lake and beautiful little church. The owner has been told he resembles 'Basil Fawlty' so often he has 'Fawlty Towers' looped on one of the t.v. channels....
