We absolutely loved Abisko, especially the dog sledding! It's an absolute must if you're traveling to Abisko. We did the self sledding, where we each drove our own dog sled. It was quite challenging but so much fun!! There are currently not too many food options within walking distance, but the hostel does have some frozen meals and pizzas for...

Me and my girlfriend truely enjoyed our stay at the hostel. The nature has a lot to offer and the atmosphere within the hostel was very nice! The staff was helpful and the other guests were open-minded and communicative, transforming the dark hours into interesting and funny moments.

Traveling alone? Don't worry. You can find people all round the world here who can be your potential good friends over your stay. Just go to the kitchen and talk with people and you can feel the superb social atmosphere. The facility and amenity of the hostel can't be said as excellent, to be honest, but adequate and satisfied. The...

So I stayed six nights and booked four of the offered tours. About the rooms and kitchen: The windows let in quiet a bit of fresh air. But compaired it still warm and cosy. Staying in room one I missed a recent guestbook there and some paper or pens would be nice too. The Boom Corner with Books from around...

The one day tour is very good and the guides are very friendly. You can feel and see the ways, how the local people live and cook. But the equipment is really dirty and old. But compare with the price, it is acceptable. PS. Dont forget to bring your OWN FOOD!!!!

We had great experience in your Hostel! People were very nice. And we tried skiing and dog sledding and the sauna. Thanks for your warm suit and the giant boots, we were warm during the stay. The food is also very cheap in your hostel!

It was quite close to the train station/bus station, and complimentary services were also very good. They could help us book different tours and skiing equipments or snowshoeing equipments were also free of charge. The communal kitchen was relatively clean and we met some great people there. All in all it was nice.

I witnessed great Northern Lights, did a lot of snow activities like dog sledding and snowshoes hiking, and met great people. Definitely recommend this place to others out there, especially those who are on tight budget. You must understand that Northern Lights is difficult to predict, you can only hope you can see it during your visit. I was blessed...

Took up the Christmas package for 2 over 29-31 Dec and the weather was quite nice up in Abisko. Before coming up north, I had made a few calls and sent a few emails to clarify certain matters and found that they were always very helpful and efficient in that. The winter overalls, boots, ski equipment, snowshoes were free for...

“Room was so ridiculously bright all night because of fire exit sign. Showers being outside building wasn't great when it's -14' outside and also no privacy in showers, no lock on door. Close to train station. Only option for budget accommodation in town. Staff helpful. Saw northern lights twice. ”
