Good location to start tours and see auroras. Very friendly staff. However, quite expensive and overcrowded. No chill out area in dorm building, only in the main building. Too much light in the chill out areas to be able to check if auroras appear outside

In this hostel you get a good bed, you have the posibility to visit the sauna and can make use of skis and snowshoes. One the property, walking distance from the hostel, there is also a great place to check the aurora.

We were looking for a budget-with-bath option, and this worked perfectly. The room and bathroom (shower downstairs) were very clean and warm, and there was a lot of space for our things without crowding the bunk bed and wooden table and chairs. The sauna was not working, and we had prebooked our activity, so we cannot comment on those, but...

We stayed at Abisko Fjalltuer in a single bunk room for three nights. We were there to see the northern lights (like everyone else at this time of year). The staff were fantastic, all the way from check-in, dealing with any issues (such as helping us fond alternative transport when the heavy snow had closed the train line), and alerting...

We met the big snowstorm during our stay in Abisko, the train was cancelled and the staff helped us to arrange the transportation to Kiruna so that we can continue our trip. Dog sledding is quite attractive, we drove it by ourselves and it is really fun. Sauna is pretty good. Many guests do not know how to join the...

Super nice place, great suana and cozy atmosphere. The staff is nice and they keep their own huski dog. That's why their dog sledding tour is famous. You can walk alone the lake to catch the aurora. Good experience.

We had 2 loud nights without sleeping because of the "polarlighthunter". They didn`t want to sleep and were running around the hostel the half night. Also if there was no chance to see polarlight. There were no keys for the rooms, so it was unable to lock them. We had to take our valuables with us, if we left the...

The property consists in 2 buildings. I slept in the Winterday hostel, facing the main building. Ground floor. The place is essential and a bit shabby but clean. The kitchen is not very furnished but with some patient you can manage some cooking. There's plenty of space in the fridge and cupboards to store food. Rooms are quite large and...

“Room was so ridiculously bright all night because of fire exit sign. Showers being outside building wasn't great when it's -14' outside and also no privacy in showers, no lock on door. Close to train station. Only option for budget accommodation in town. Staff helpful. Saw northern lights twice. ”
