We picked Golegã and Hotel Lusitano by change, but right away seemed like a very nice place! It turned out we loved it. Our idea was to relax, visit some countryside or stay inside if we wanted. We stayed in the main house or the old part of the hotel, which old has only the great recovery job done, magnificent...

Family stay, at Hotel Lusitano, was memorable. The room was very good - ask for the ones located in the new building, close to the indoor pool, are really good and spacious. The pool and the zero gravity pod deserves a try. Hotel restaurant makes justice to the overall experience although you can find other good restaurants at a walking...

What a pleasant surprise! We visited the cities and decided to travel a bit out of the way to see some of the countryside. This hotel is in a very small, charming community. The hotel has a welcoming feel and is small enough to make you seem as if you are in a bread and breakfast but with more privacy. It...

Nice hotel in a very nice town. The time and schedule of pool/training center should be longer... Breakfast is normal, nothing very special... Very bad mistake by staff at dinner, were the soup contained pork and wasn't mentioned! Overall a pleasant stay!

Our room was huge; the bathroom was huge. It had a very fancy shower and a large tub. The indoor swimming pool and whirlpool were unexpected bonuses. The room and bathroom were very clean; staff was very helpful. Free parking was another bonus. There was a spa, but we didn't use the services. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was included...

Walked to Golega from Santarem and therefore any stopover hotel would have been welcome, however we were all delighted with our choice in Golega. Golega is a very small rural town but this hotel was first class. The location is very central and the atmosphere and feel of the place was relaxing and comfortable. The rooms were lovely either looking...

I am not so sure that excellent is strong enough for this hotel. I wish there was a rating above this for this hotel. We arrived on the first Saturday of the Golega Horse Fair. Yes, things were getting a little crazy but our GPS took us right to the hotel. Check in went perfectly and I was able to...

After a day of walking the Camino, some 30km, we found it very refreshing to be greeted with a friendly smile & a very helpful & supportive staff. Great to have a swim after our walk in the heated pool.

The buildings of this hotel are beautifully renovated. Also the rooms were redone keeping the original charme. The same is true for house extensions. The rooms (at lest in the main house) are very spacious and offer a comfortable stay. Breakfast is not too big,but still offering everything I would long for. For those reasons I would recommend this hotel...
