We stayed 3 days during the week to visit the beautiful Val Pusteria, we went with the dog (when booking I specified that it was medium size and how much it weighed since on the site it says that they accept small dogs, but they welcomed him without problems). Our room was quite large and very comfortable, with a small terrace, it was very clean and with a sofa that the dog really appreciated. The bathroom has all the comforts you need, even a fantastic bottle of shower gel instead of the classic useless bars of soap. We went half board, so dinners were included in the price. In the morning at breakfast we choose from the menu what will be served in the evening. The menu always includes some local specialities, the food is all delicious, so much so that I cleaned my plate with bread. First, second and dessert with side dishes buffet. You eat until you burst and taste great. Drinks are not included in half board, so you pay separately, but their beer (the famous Forst) is really worth it, it's very good. Breakfast doesn't lack anything, there is both sweet and savory ones. The espresso coffee from the machine is good. At breakfast you can request a lunch box, they make you sandwiches directly from the buffet you find there, they give you a bag to take them away and they make you note how many sandwiches you have made (they cost €2.50 per sandwich, you stuff them as you want , the bread is soft and good of the day and you save rather than buying them around which certainly cost more).
We also used the spa which is included in the price, you don't pay extra and you don't need to book it. It is open from 4pm to 7pm. The spa is wonderful and new, very clean and complete with every need. The hotel provides towels, bathrobes and slippers. There is the heated infinity pool which you access from inside and then move outside, it overlooks the spectacular scenery in front of the hotel, a superlative view. Naturally with the hydromassage. There is a children's section with a swimming pool especially for them equipped with games, separated from that of adults to allow them to enjoy the peace and relax. There are several rooms with very comfortable sunbeds equipped with covers facing the window overlooking the scenery ahead. Then there is the Turkish bath, the 60° sauna and the Finnish one, there are the showers, an area for pampering yourself (tea, fresh fruit drinks). The photos on the site are truthful, that's exactly how it is!
The best spa experience I've had so far.
The staff were all very kind, friendly and prepared. Impeccable place, I have nothing to complain about, if we return to that area we will definitely choose that hotel again!

Hotel discovered by chance after several years of frequenting the area during the Christmas period. Extremely satisfied for a series of positive aspects starting from the suggestive position with a magnificent view of the Dolomites. The hotel offers many services, the shuttle service to and from the ski resorts is highly appreciated, a priceless convenience that can be used at the most convenient time slot. We stayed with half board and we particularly appreciated the buffet breakfast service, but above all the dinner cuisine, compliments to the chefs, excellent level both for the various choices available between first courses, second courses and desserts, all of high quality. Excellent bar service, a welcoming environment where you can enjoy an aperitif or a coffee after dinner and spend a few hours in company. The wellness service was good, the only note to improve was the temperature of the water in the outdoor pool, a little warmer would have been better. The kindness and courtesy of all the staff was impeccable. Very large room with all comforts, I recommend bringing a hair dryer from home as there is a very weak wall hair dryer in the bathrooms.

Our stay at this family-run hotel was just great! The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming – you feel very welcome here from the first moment. The quiet location high above the Val Pusteria with stunning views over the surrounding mountains invites you to relax and unwind, exactly what we were looking for.
We had booked half board. The food was very delicious and lovingly arranged, towards alpine and Mediterranean cuisine. In the evening, there are three main courses to choose from, at least one vegetarian and one cold, lighter dish.
A special thank you goes to the team who made sure that the birthday of one of our family members was an unforgettable experience. Not only did we get the tip on how to easily organize a cake at a pastry chef in the village, the cake was also picked up by hotel staff and our dinner table was lovingly decorated and arranged, accompanied by an attention from the hotel. All this made us unforgettable this evening, for which we are very grateful.
This hotel is a real insider tip for anyone looking for family hospitality, excellent food and a quiet, relaxing environment. We will definitely come back!

Very quiet hotel, a little secluded on the height of the village Innichen/San Candido. Plenty of parking space. A more than warm welcome from the owner Karin and the very nice receptionist Silvia, who is super friendly.
The spa is in an adjoining building which can be reached from inside the hotel. It has two large relaxation rooms with a view of the Dolomites, a children's corner and an infrared cabin. The outdoor hot water pool has a bench with whirlpool. Drinks and fruit are available at the entrance to the Spa. In the evening the 3-course meal begins with a large salad buffet. Then we finished at the warm hotel bar. Room 303 is highly recommended like the entire hotel.

We returned yesterday from New Year's Eve at the Schopfenhof and are overall satisfied. The hotel has a completely new and beautiful Spa. The infinity pool overlooking the Dolomites is something unique. I would recommend raising the water temperature by a degree or two.
The dinner was very good. I would have gladly had a salad buffet at the start of dinner and a basket of different types of bread to help myself to, instead of always asking the waiter for more.
The breakfast room and the rooms certainly need to be renovated to have the same level of excellence as the wellness area.
Unfortunately the service was terrible. We were served by an Italian waiter who was rude to say the least. We ordered a bottle of wine and waited a real 30 minutes before he brought it to us. Every time he came by and told us he would bring it to us but nothing until I got up and asked him for it. After he brought it to us I asked him for an ice bucket and for the second time we waited another half hour. I got up, reminded him and he didn't even look at me and continued doing his thing.

Mrs. Giovanna, with her family and all the staff were wonderful: such kindness, professionalism and dedication to this job make every customer feel protagonist and completely satisfied. The hotel is located in a privileged position: from here you can enjoy a wonderful open view of the meadows, woods and the most beautiful mountains and also of the enchanting valley that "cradles" the beautiful town of San Candido. Our room was comfortable to say the least: large, with lots of windows and two large balconies from which you could enjoy a postcard view. The SPA is a relaxation paradise with every type of variation on the sauna theme; a wonderful heated swimming pool, with a large hydromassage extends from inside to outside in a fairytale landscape, surrounded by a perfect lawn and equipped with all the accessories for comfortable relaxation in the open air and in the sun.
The cuisine is meticulously prepared and each dish is expertly cooked and presented: the sight and taste offer moments of admiration and goodness! Elena and Luna pampered us with so much kindness, sympathy and... patience.
What can I say... This winter I will think back to our beautiful holiday many many times! Many thanks to all!

We have just returned from an 8 day stay at this hotel. Fantastic staff and welcome, always with a smile (ehhh Mrs Elena?), excellent food and varied menu, fantastic sauna area (there are several), relaxation area and the fantastic outdoor swimming pool overlooking a spectacular view of the Dolomites...
Cozy rooms and a beautiful shower area with large space and relaxing lights inside, safe and warm wooden furniture.
Only one thing, a small mini-bar is missing in the room... for the summer perhaps it is important and the last thing, but perhaps it does not only concern the hotel... the road to get to the hotel from the state road should be equipped with road mirrors since it is very narrow and with several curves..
However we will be back, wonderful holiday.

The hotel restaurant elevates the quality of services. Good hotel (3 stars) accessible only by car. Good wellness area with outdoor pool. Basic but comfortable room. Good chef and excellent quality of raw materials. To be improved: fridge in the room, missing bathroom set, luggage service in the room not provided.

We were very pleased with the hotel overall. Hotel room and decor including bathroom are quite new. In addition to bath and shower, there is also a bidet. A separate toilet would still be desirable. Otherwise, there is hardly anything wrong.
The food with breakfast and dinner was certainly in line with our expectations.
Of particular note is the new and well-done wellness area. From the hot water outdoor pool (but also the panoramic sauna) you have a great view of the Pustertal and the Dolomite mountains opposite. This allows the hillside location north of San Candido. Conversely, the steep access can also be problematic, especially in winter; an all-wheel drive is certainly recommended. Then the access coming from Dobbiaco is probably the better choice.

Beautiful and brand new spa area with infinity pool, very large and renovated room. We had a very good time, the staff is very kind and smiling!
The hotel is made up of a newer part and an older part, it has a nice bar at the entrance and it is pleasant!
However, I was very disappointed about the breakfast as it is not for a four-star hotel (perhaps for one to two even if the price was four, alas). The sweet options were only two types of cakes already cut into small pieces, two, three brioches of a single type and stop... even the salty area was not presented well.
It's a shame given the recently renovated hotel and the amazing breakfasts offered by hotels of the same category in the mountains!
I will gladly recommend it!
