Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hotel is rather dated to say the least. It is decently located in that it is away from the noise and main strip. The breakfast was average compared to what we have had while in Italy for a bit over 2 weeks. The room was clean but again we have possibly been spoiled by other places.

My Wife and I stayed 1 night at this hotel. I am not sure what the options are for the independent traveler in Toblach, but we found it difficult to book just a room with breakfast at the end of August - this hotel and many others seem to like to sell half board options. We enjoyed: - the room had nice wooden furniture (but was smaller than the ones showed on their website) - good (German) style breakfast with a decent fruit salad (not just Italian dolce) - friendly staff The price on the booking via Bookings.com at 124Euro (with breakfast) was barely under the 140Euro for half board on their own website - so the price quality ratio was not the best for us . We thought the rooms were quite modern, but the restaurant was less so. Limited seating outside. For one night it was fine.

We stayed with a group for a week of cross country skiing. The owners and staff were really great. The rooms very clean and nice. We unfortunately had a small room at the back of the hotel (not a great view) but since we were out on the trails all day, it did not really matter. We were on the half-board plan, so breakfast and dinner were included. The meals were good. Not spectacular but generally OK. There is definitely room for improvement in comparison to some other 'like' hotels in the area but could not complain, except for the lack of fresh fruit at breakfast. They have parking, and a good ski room in the lower level with an area for waxing. The accommodations, including the half-board were very reasonably priced; bar prices were also good. The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk to the bus station. Not really fancy but very friendly and comfortable!
