Stayed in Number 2 - a very private ground floor studio. Kitchenette all usable if you wish and a private terrace in the garden. I slept very well. Lovely owners there every morning doing jobs. A warm welcome. Basic accommodation but just what I needed for a great price. AC and WiFi both excellent and next door to a beautiful swimming pool and bar for snacks and lunch. Recommended.
As I write this we are here at this location and I can not recommend it enough. There is a long (1:45) transfer from the airport but the apartment is comfortable and the quaint named notice on the wall of welcome and telling your your room key was in the door was so chilled out and welcoming... place next door has a brilliant pool and really friendly staff. The area is lovely and peaceful which is great if you want a quiet relaxing time. The shop in the town (700 m away) was great and even gave us a lift back to our hotel with our shopping as we are self catering. Will post more updates as the week goes on but so far I can’t fault it for the money and the friendliness of the local people. Been here 24 hours so far and in love with the place and beautiful sunsets .... if you want air on you need to book in advance or pay extra but that is normal.…
Got a good price for this holiday from love holidays. It was a a ground floor apartment with no real view to speak of but a delightful little patio area in the well kept gardens. The room was basic but had all we needed, cooker, toaster, kettle, fridge etc. It was cleaned and new linen 3 times in 10 days.. pretty good really. Air conditioning is extra 55 euros for the 10 days , we didn't bother, spent the money on hiring boats instead. The toaster broke but was replaced with a new sandwich toaster within 2 hours. There is a path in hotel grounds opposite, 10 mins to beach, but steep, you must be fairly fit. I don't recommend using the road, it's long and tortuous in the heat. San Stefano travel in the village have good cars, 230 euros for 10 days, I recommend that. So many great places to visit. The area is beautiful, so if basic no fuss accommodation is ok for you, then logos is fine. We totally loved all of it and got on well with the owner, he let us stay in the apartment till 19.30 instead of the normal 12.00 on our leaving day. We would return in an instant, all of it was great..…
We had 2 separate bedrooms, one with duble bed and one with 2 separate beds, both had aircon very useful in the nigth becose is the last floor. We set to 27 degrees and he stop and start auto. The surprise was that at arrival they say that we did not have aircon in voucher and we have to pay 10 euro/day. So when wou make the reservation you have to verify this thing. The kitchen was equipped with big frige 2 doors, electric stove. The big minus is the bathroom. The shower is very small with shower curtain in a place where you have to make at least 2 showers a day. The appartment are place on a hill, is very good if you have a car to go to beach. The view is spectacular. You see the coast to Arrilas an the three islands on the sea. The beach at Agios Stefanos is the best in the area, the water is not deep, very good for children. We rent motor boat at very good prices. …
Booked 2 rooms, for 2 weeks in studios on ground floor. On arrival sign on board with our names on and room numbers, keys in door. Rang owner to ask for air con and he arrived 10 mins later to sort it out. We requested 2 rooms next to each other but owner said that it was not possible, we had room no. 2 and 4, but he said room no. 3 was available the following day which was great, so we ended up with rooms next to each other. We couldn't of asked for more! Rooms cleaned twice a week, sheets and towels twice a week. Rooms are basic but clean and it was lovely and peaceful sitting on the balcony having breakfast and evening drinks. Very quiet location on the edge of Agios Stefanos at the top of the hill. We used pool/snack bar next door at Voula. We also used pool and restaurant at Romanza Hotel about 100 yds away, the food was amazing! You can walk to beach via the back of the Romanza Hotel, but it is very steep and in July very hot but we were fit enough to do it and the views are amazing. The steep winding road down to the village and the beach takes about 15-20mins with lovely views of the sea. Nearest supermarket in village 15-20mins walk and we had our shopping delivered free. Amazing sunsets and views from Lofos as we walked down to the village to eat. Lots of restaurants, we ate in too many to mention, all good food, prices very much the same, set menus around 9 euros, large beer 3 euros litre house wine 10 euros. Our first time to Agios Stefanos and had a great time, spoke to lots of people who have returned year after year. You can hire boats on the beach and sunbeds are 6 euros, some are free if you eat in their restaurant. We took the bus to Agios Georgious but it was a very quiet resort, beach not so nice. You can get the bus to Sidari, but we had visited there a few years ago and didn't like it, very built up. . If you are looking for somewhere quiet to stay and don't mind walking, this is the place to stay, good value for money.…
