Recently visited the Tereza sunset hotel at first glance the pool area restaurant and bar looked lovely and sat on the side of a hill with beautiful views . Once we'd checked in and went to our room it was more of an anti climax dated and cramped and the bathroom had a drain in the centre which we had to cover because the stench was disgusting. The hotels end of seasons offerings were very poor . Half board option was very disappointing . 3 starters 3 mains and three so called deserts . The portions were very small and not particularly exciting . The service was rushed so overall not an appealing ambience . This didn't live up to jet 2 description. Breakfast was minimal and just about adequate. No entertainment just the same music going round and round and cats wandering in and out of the restaurant. Not good when the fleas are visible on your legs and feet. The room was kept clean as were the surrounding area just the drains stank at the lower end of the hotel. The resort was just about closed with hardly any offerings and on the morning the fire broke out behind the hotel there was no leadership or assistance to leave . We fought threw bellowing black smoke to see the bulk of the staff had packed there own cases and left the building . Thankyou Tereza hotel for putting yourselves first. We fled to the beach with several other residents of the hotel following a government warning to evacuate two hours later we heard from jet 2 and finally a coach took us away from the area . All of us were literally in the clothes we had on with no other belongings. I certainly won't be staying or recommending this hotel as they do not put their guests first they were only interested in closing for the winter .

Visited the hotel after a lot of research. But did not live up to expectations We visited 16th oct for 6 days. The reort had all but closed. Although a lovely beach. Most restaurants and shops were closed by the middle of the week. The food was poor and below expectations with small portions and minimal choice. The staff acted as if they had already finished and the restaurant felt like a fast food restaurant. In what do you want and out. No greek hospitality. No greek night The room was minimal and cant understand how it got its rating. More 2 star than 3 star plus No tv . Had to ask for extra cup as only one cup in the room. The patio chairs had to be replaced half way through the week as they cracked. Numerous mosquitoes due to gaps in the door frames. To top it all we were evacuated from The hotel due to a forest fire. We had to spend 2 days in one set of clothes

was recently away for my holiday- 14th October, for a week. On arrival, I was told by the manager of the hotel that most things were closing but, if able to get 10-12 people together, there might be a boat trip they could do. The manager also stated that the Greek night might not go ahead, when I asked. The next day, we noticed in town (which is only 5 mins down hill) that the shops were closing and most other places had been shut for a while. By the 16th October, all boats, jet skis and parascending boats had been removed from the beach and most of the sunbeds put away. They were even putting the green boards away, that you walk on on the beach. The Greek night was cancelled, even though there was at least 25 people still in the hotel. Another negative to this hotel is that the towels are very hard, they needed some softener. Using the towels would have definitely taken off your skin! On the plus side, the cleaners did do a good job and the hotel was clean. I would otherwise advise against going in October, since there was no entertainment, no shops open and no excursions. The hotel staff had already clocked off- you could tell that the holiday was over for them and they felt that we should have all gone home. Unlike most hotels, there was not any kind of 'holiday/excursion' board in Reception. There were only a few leaflets in a pile on the bar (I never noticed these until it was too late) but they were actually for the boat trips on the beach, owned by the brother of the hotel owner. These leaflets would have given us a 20% discount for the boat trips, had I of been made aware by the hotel staff. We did end up booking a different boat trip, which was sadly cancelled due to the weather conditions. This was a shame as we had been stuck in the hotel all week due to the town's closure. On our last day, we noticed some black smoke from the beach. When we got to the top of the hill, we noticed that there was a wild fire in the field behind the hotel. We told the bar staff, on their response they had no clue of the fire and did not know what to do. Within 20 minutes of spotting the fire, we were engulfed with smoke and ash, making it hard to breathe. The staff did not check the rooms for unaware holiday guests and there was no smoke alarms or any kind of protocol for evacuation. It was then we demanded a taxi to get us to the airport.

This was our 3rd 2 week holiday stay at Terezas Sunset Hotel in 12 months. We will be back again next year as we have already booked. Why? Because this is a family run hotel which offers amazing accommodation, food friendliness of the owners and their staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Any minor issues that we had were dealt with immediately and efficiently. San Stefanos itself is a beautiful and picturesque location with stunning views all around. Plenty of walks in the locality. A fantastic large sandy beach, with watersports being available. (See Leo from Terezas for this) An extra special thank you to Fanis,Leo, Angelina and their families. Also to George, Elvis, Zisis (the Chef), the cleaners and all the other hardworking members of their team. These all make our stay a wonderful relaxing holiday.

We weren’t exactly sure what to expect with Tereza’s Sunset. Everything looked amazing prior to our stay however we paid a low price so could it be too good to be true? Well as it turned out it was perfect if not better. The transfer only took just over an hour, the welcome to the hotel was great. The €50 for air conditioning was expected and good value for money, the rooms were nice and serviced daily. I was concerned about the food however there were three options of starters mains and desserts each night off the half board menu. We ate 4 times in the evening and each time had a great meal. The main menu for lunch was superb too, with such a huge variety. The pool area was amazing, the walk to the beach and town wasn’t too bad as well despite the hill. The staff were amazing. Cocktail barman and the main waiter were exceptional, sorry we never caught their names. Overall, it was an 11/10 holiday for me and my girlfriend and we really hope we’ll be able to return in the future.

We had an amazing holiday!! 7 nights at Tereza Sunset Hotel was perfect for us. Our rooms were spotless, daily service wasn't expected but we were very grateful to the hard working team for doing it. One of our highlights was to hire a boat for the day off Leo, I can honestly say it was so beautiful we saw lots of beauty spots, dropped the anchor and snorkeled in the clear blue sea. In fact we loved our time so much,we have just booked our next holiday to go back next year!!! Can't wait 😊.

Had a wonderful holiday staying at Tereza Sunset Hotel, pay extra for a sea view room, well worth it as the Sunsets are amazing, you can also have the view from the wonderful rooftop terrace. We were half board so would usually eat out a few times but not this time, the food was really really lovely, you get a choice of 3 starters, 3 mains, 3 desserts which were different every evening. You should not miss the Greek evening. The staff were extremely helpful, went out of their way to make your stay enjoyable, nothing was to much trouble for them, special mention to George. It is up a small incline so maybe not suitable for everyone, but perfect for us. Beach is very close by going down some steps, lovely to have a sandy beach. Would not hesitate to recommend this Hotel and hope to return next year.

From the moment we arrived we have been made to feel like part of the family at this wonderful little gem. In fact the hotel romantically nods backwards to the founder and father of the men that run the hotel with lovely photos in the restaurant area that show how things once were. The staff cannot do enough for you, and all evidently work very hard to keep the place extremely clean, and guests well taken care of. Our room was well maintained daily, and it is such a wonderful place to relax. There was a Wedding party on when we were here, and apparently the bride who was lovely has been coming here for years, it was nice to meet some of her guests, and it just showed what a lovely family orientated atmosphere the owners provide taking care of long visiting people as well as being wonderful hosts to new guests. It was lovely to see the guests letting their hair down at the reception, a wedding, such a joyous day of celebration. I have made great friends with some of the guests, and my Fiancée and I would love to return here in the future. It is one of the best holidays, if not the best I have ever had. While I was here I also did a fishing trip and boat trip, and the hotel was a great base for both.

I am currently here on my honeymoon with my new wife and have discovered the hotel has been taken over by a rowdy wedding party. The noise is deafening and is likely to go on until midnight. What's more we were moved from the restaurant to the roof top bar for our evening meal and then we're told the food on offer was limited due to there being a wedding. There was no advance notice of this. I am very disappointed. Needless to say we will not return.
