We spent ten days here and it was the perfect seaside holiday. The villa is strategically positioned at the north end of Potamia Bay, thus offering amazing views over the entire bay and Golden Beach. Actually you can reach the beach by foot in less than 15 minutes. The rooms are spotlessly clean (they are actually cleaned every day) with comfortable bed and fluffy towels. And all feature a balcony towards the beautiful view of the bay. The breakfast buffet has a lot of options, with a touch of local products (local pine honey, olive oil). Some cakes and pastries are changed on a daily basis. The breakfast serving area has both an indoor and an outdoor side, so you can take your breakfast or enjoy your coffee while watching the sea (the villa faces west, so you have shadow in the morning). The place is run by Nicki and her family in a professional manner and it was a very nice experience to have met them. Thank you, Nicki!…

The host is a wonderful person, nice and kind, willing at any time to help you. The rooms are large, with sea view, bright and very clean. Cleaning is done daily, very seriously. Breakfast is fresh, tasty and varied, with local products. The property has parking and a beautiful yard!

We have been to this hotel several times and are desperate to get back there as soon as this pandemic is over ! We have been moving our trip forward as it goes on Nikki and her family are the best hosts you could ever want, from the lovely clean modern rooms to the ideal breakfast it’s perfect ! And when you add the absolutely breathtaking views you have the paradise we both love ! We have been all over the world but we keep coming back here as we love it so much! We love Thassos as it’s so like original Greece and to have found such a fabulous hotel and location is the icing on the cake ! I can recommend this hotel without any reservations From start to finish your holiday will be a memory you will never forget !

Everything was perfect! Room was clean! Staff are very friendly and polite! The view from the room was stunning and breathtaking.. If you visit Thassos thats the place to go.. Totally recommend it!!!!

The location is indeed an excellent choice for going places in either part of the island while benefiting from its very close proximity to the great Golden beach. But beyond location, the spot is breathtaking, offering a panoramic view of the golden beach and the surrounding mountains. The unique olive trees amidst the balcony-like common breakfast/lounge area,as well as the minimal still elegant decoration throughout, make the difference, blending beautifully with the natural landscape. Anna, the host, is such a sweet person, while very professional and with great tips for less touristic and more local approaches to the diversity of the island. Rooms extremely comfortable,cleanness at its best, and tastefully decorated. Indeed a place we would definitely return, as it's beauty and vibe cannot be captured in any of our camera lenses!!!…

We stayed for 9 days June/July. The accommodation is beautiful, garden, terrace view all so picturesque. Nikki is amazing host, gave us tips for all the places to visit, tavernas and beaches. For anyone who wants a relaxed stay, with great view, close proximity to the beach and nice breakfast, this is your place. Big thanks to Nikki from Nikola, Jelena and Boris!

Everything about Island View Villa is excellent. Nikki and Anna are the loveliest people, the rooms are luxurious with cocomat beds, balcony with the perfect view and air conditioning. There is no better place to stay, we keep returning and expect we will return again!

We stayed 10 days at Island View Villa in July 2019 and we had a wonderful stay. The hotel is recently renovated and offers all modern comfort? Very good airco, good beds, nice bathroom, fridge... All rooms have a balcony with a stunning view on golden beach. If this is not enough to go to Island view villa Nikki and her mother are absolutely perfect hosts looking after us and taking care of all our needs. Breakfast is very good with Greek and continental food. What a better way to start the day with a nice breakfast sitting under an olive tree and looking out over Golden Beach? Thanks Nikki we loved staying at your hotel.

This hotel was such a great find and I feel we are very lucky to have been able to book a room for 5 days. The views are magnificent and the rooms are extremely tastefully fitted out. It’s extremely well placed to drive to any beach you want to but the little cove just below the hotel is just perfect. Finally the breakfast was delicious with very good coffee and just the right balance of savoury and sweet things to eat. It’s a family run hotel with Niki , the daughter , In charge and Mum and Dad helping out. The father is in charge of the garden and it’s really beautiful. Highly recommended!!
