Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

At Selyria Resort we had the most fantastic season! Nice and kind staff, cooperative people, delicious food, unsurpassed in taste sweets, but the most important was the Dutch Amazing Guests! Thank you Selyria for hosting! Will be back soon...

Hotel is in a good location, it's quiet and close to the sea. The best things about the resort were definitely personel and the food. There was enough space by the pool, reception worked all night. Room was clean and comfy. The only minor flaw was shower cabinet, which could be cleaned better. We had a very good time and went back with batteries charged up :)

The hotel was reasonable, but it should not be called a "resort" nor have five stars. You can't call it a resort if it lacks the facilities that a resort provides. There were two mattresses on the floor in the family bedroom?? We couldn't sleep well since they were so uncomfortable. There was mould in the room, the wifi didn't function, there were two sinks but only one worked, the pool looked dirty, and the food had no seasoning at all. The hotel is practically quit at night. The individuals who work at the hotel are wonderful! We had a great time in Zakynthos and spent much of our time outside. So the hotel is acceptable if you are planning to mostly go out during the whole day.

Wonderful resort on a perfect location! Only 300 meters to the sandy beach and the city center of Tsilivi. For an All Inclusive resort it was really peaceful, which was perfect. Rooms are spacious with a rain shower ánd huge bath! The beds are lovely with big mattrasses (you don't always have this in Greece I can tell you :-)). And as for the staff, nothing but compliments; hard working, very friendly and very helpful all the time. For the Dutch/Belgian people there even was a Dutch speaking host who really made you feel at home! We've had a great holiday and we can recommend Selyria Resort for everybody!

Very nice hotel with very kind and smiling staff. The buffet has different food and salads every day, even live show cooking, very tasty and for all dietary preferences, but what really steals the show, are the fantastic desserts and sweets! Between meals there is a wide variety of snacks, sandwiches, club sandwiches fries, etc. If you prefer azzure sea with sunbeds and umbrellas you can walk only 300m straight from the Selyria hotel. Everything is perfect and we are thinking of coming back very soon again.

What a beautiful and nice place this is. From the first minute to the last the people will take care of you. They always laugh and make sure that you get everything you need. Especially Spiro and his sister they makes the difference. I would definitely return to Selyria resort. The food is really good, the people are really nice and it’s clean. Thanks for the wonderful time!

Certainly not a 5 star hotel, more like a 3 star. Condition of the rooms is very bad, a lot of shower flooding, mold and leaky taps. Old sheets and towels. No wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby and restaurant. All inclusive, but often products were not available, because it was the end of the season. Cleaning in the restaurant should also be much better. Pool floor looks dirty, completely worn out, that's why we didn't swim and only went to the beautiful beach, which is a 5-minute walk away. Center with nice restaurants and shops is 5 minutes away. Staff is very nice but can't solve the problems.

Booked to stay all inclusive 7 nights! Arrive at 11pm told we have no rooms for you ( 4 other couple too ) you have to stay at our sister hotel for 3 days when asked why they say technical issue went to sister hotel and that is horrific big hole in ceiling where fan goes mud on floor and bugs etc I go back to main hotel at 12am saying I won’t stay there told to find somewhere else if you don’t like it! Ask for a manager and told he not available at night! I was left in Greece with no hotel or anything I booked somewhere else for 2 days then hotel was ready for me, after lots of calls! when I return they trying to charge me room tax when they owe me a refund for 2 days when I ask where is my refund the receptionist who was rude gets a manager he told me if you don’t pay room tax I call the police I said to him you owe me money this whole time I have my mum on phone to me to hear what’s going on as he said calling the police he then pushed me and tried to take my phone off me saying I was recording him when I was on the phone he then shouting at me I call police they take you away! I am 19 and a lady he was trying to push me around. Now I back in England I will pursue this. Avoid this hotel! The reason for no room for me was because they over booked rooms. Horrific experience I didn’t stay there as was so threatened by them I stayed some where else.
