Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had a fantastic holiday in Zante and would definitely go back to the island. The rooms are spacious and the hotel is really close to the beach so you can go for a stroll on the sand whenever you like. The pool is quite small but was never crowded and there were always plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas to go round. The food in the hotel was nice, drinks were cheap and all the staff were lovely. I really liked the fact that the rooms have a fridge and that the aircon and safes are now free. However, the bathrooms in this hotel are absolutely awful 😱😱 mould on the tiles, corroded and rotting fixtures and the shower curtain had mildew on it. Such a shame about this as I could never recommend the hotel to others when the bathrooms are so dirty: I dreaded having a shower when I was there (not the best feeling in a hot climate). I don’t understand why the hotel don’t do something to sort out the bathrooms as it seems to be a recurring theme in the reviews…. a bottle of bleach doesn’t cost much and would make all the difference.

Positive things: - location (very close to the beach and the main road with bars and restaurants), in a quiet area, there’s a market right outside the hotel - friendly staff Negative things: - room wasn’t very clean when we entered (hasn’t been vacuum cleaned) and it hasn’t been cleaned for 11 days that we stayed. Only the garbage bin was emptied every day and towels changed every couple of days. Only in the beginning did we get a couple of shower gels/shampoos, later we were told they’re out of it so we had to buy our own. - rooms are very old, especially the shower and the toilet. The walls in the shower are concrete, which looks like it was left unfinished during construction. The shower doesn’t work properly as the shower head is full of stone. The toilet seat is very old and yellow. - breakfast buffet is the same every day.

This hotel has no 3 stars, i would give it 1 star. Food is bad and rooms are bad cleaned. Bathroom is disaster. The only goid thing is location, because its near the sea and the center. Hotel needs a renovation!

Pool and snack bar The very best English breakfast in Tsilivi with back bacon and real English sausage and pg tips. Lots of other amazing food on the menu too. Cocktails first class and the coldest Peroni in town. Amazing service and close to the beach. Would highly recommend.

Stayed here with a singles holiday group it was not my choice this hotel is the most basic of the basic rooms contain all necessary amenities including fridge and kettle no hairdryer though apparently available, just ask the staff can't do enough for you. Shower was awful sprayed everywhere except on me due to splits in the showerhead many rooms have now been refurbished my guess is this one hasn't yet been. If you have a ground floor terrace room as I did be aware it practically opens out onto the road and no nets so curtains must be closed too undress and patio door must be kept closed or anyone could walk in (the maid leaves it open) cleaning standards are not great shower, sink and loo weren't cleaned at all during my week's stay all the maid did was make the bed and empty bin. The location is fab 2 mins to beach on one direction and 5 to town in other direction there's a shop directly next door selling all essentials the food is limited and mediocre for meals included hotels guests i understand that food from the public pool bar is fabulous

Was walking past one day and glanced at the menu. We were staying at an all inclusive nearby but I was getting a bit bored of the food. The prices were very decent, between 5€ and €9.50. Decided to go for dinner. Had the Lamb chops the first time, a huge portion, absolutely amazingly cooked and presented. The second time we had the chicken supreme, a slightly smaller portion but delicious. The third we had the pork chops, omg, I have never seen a chop so big. It was cooked perfectly. The owner and the staff were delightful. They make you feel really welcome. We are looking forward to our next trip so we can go there again.

Nice hotel in a quiet place. Near to the sea and town centre - both 2 mins walking. Nice friendly staff. Very good food. Nice room, small bathroom but it wasn't a problem. We didn't expect much from this place but in the end we were surprised and satisfied. :-)

Spent a week here. Joined a group of solo travellers. My room was pretty big, as was the shower room, but very old. I’ve been to Greece several times and often the accommodation is basic, but really? The tv was an old portable up so high you’d need a telescope to view it. As there was no remote control that wasn’t an option anyway! No remote for the aircon either but the weather was mid 20s so comfortable without. WiFi was intermittent then the last two days when trying to access it, a message came up that they hadn’t paid the bill. Breakfast and Evening meal was in a very dull and depressing room, no atmosphere, no music. Then the staff helping themselves...never mind if you wanted seconds! The bar /taverna wasn’t much better. No attempt by staff to liven it up...mainly they stood around looking miserable and looking at their phones. Thank goodness for nearby hotels with super pools, good facilities and all the bars along ‘the strip’. Avoid Apollon.
