Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hotel was nice and the staff lovely but Tsilivi beach is overcrowded and everything crammed tightly together. There was music 24/7 and you couldnt get away from it, even on the beach. Whatever happened to the music of the Sea? The food was good and location in respect of the village also good. But would not recommend Tsilivi.

What a wonderful hotel! If you book direct they pick you up from the airport and drop you back. The staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was fantastic with beautiful fresh orange juice and hot food cooked to order. Shout out to Alex who worked so hard, and always with a smile. Our room was lovely with skylights to watch the stars in bed at night and a Seaview from the balcony. Sunbed plentiful and great location.

Great staff, friendly, polite and efficient. We had a bedroom with a side view of the sea which was ideal. The air conditioned room was fairly basic with a smallish en suite but it was clean and the large double bed very comfortable. Sheets and towels changed every day. Fine food in the restaurant but the portions are huge. We shared a snack at lunchtimes. You can eat and take a drink from tables right by the beach. Likewise the sun loungers by the pool are also very close to the beach if you prefer to swim in the sea. We had no problem in securing sun loungers without the need to bag them at the crack of dawn. . There is constant restful music quietly played outside. Although usually not a fan of Muzak, in this case we felt it added to the ambience. Note that Planos / Tsilivi Beach is a busy tourist resort and not a sleepy Greek fishing village but the hotel is on the edge of town and so spared from the worst of the hustle and bustle.

We visited this hotel in July this year and had a fabulous time. Right from the start from our very welcoming arrival , the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout. The advantages to this hotel are on arrival the bags were taken up whilst we enjoyed a welcoming drink at the bar. Fresh clean towels were provided everyday for the beach. The rooms were cleaned daily and clean towels provided. The rooms were spacious and clean with the safe and Aircon included in the price of the holiday. Also a massive cost saving was the private sunloungers provided everyday outside on the private beach. The breakfast choices were substantial, with a lovely view of the beach and sunrise. Every evening after a lovely meal , we were able to have a drink on the veranda over looking the beautiful beach and sea view. In fact we had such a great time we have already booked for next year with more family for 2 big events Mum and Dad's special 45th wedding celebration and my Nephew's 13th birthday. Mum and Dad are hoping they get the same fabulous room! Thank you to the staff for such an amazing holiday. Can't wait to be back, see you next year!

This was my second visit to this hotel, I stayed last year as a couple & enjoyed it so much that we brought family members with us this year. Everybody in our group was impressed with the choice of accommodation. It's a small hotel with a personal touch only steps away from the beach, rooms are modern with everything you need & are cleaned to a very high standard. Breakfast is amazing with a great choice from the buffet as well as hot food cooked to order. The biggest compliment to the hotel are the wonderful staff who are super friendly, polite, smiley & nothing seems too much trouble for them. I have been visiting Tsilivi since 2006 & have stayed in many different hotels but now I have found Iakinthos, which is by far my favourite hotel I would never stay anywhere else. Already booked again for next year & cannot wait to be back!

A beautiful hotel with a fine restaurant direct at the beach. Fantastic and very friendly service. The whole atmosphere is familiar. The own shuttle brings you from and to the airport. The rooms are clean with daily fresh water in the refrigator - as water will be brought for free to the hotel owned sun loungers, too. Ervery time again. Thanks to the team and management of the hotel for a wonderful vacation.

Just returned from a 2 week stay at this lovely hotel. Great beachfront location, just a couple of minutes walk to bars & restaurants. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating - special mention must go to Violeta & her team at breakfast, where the chef will willingly cook you anything just how you like it. And to barman Akis who would happily mix you any drink you want with friendly chat & advice about the area. Ample sunbeds around the pool and some on the beach. If you want to go to the other end of Tsivili take a shorter route by turning left along the beach and go inland at the last hotel. Would recommend a stay here

We really enjoyed our stay. Ideally located on the beach with hard working and friendly staff. We loved the breakfast by the beach and special touches like free paddle boarding & pool inflatables. We had a room with water views which was fabulous!
