Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Spotlessly clean basic hotel in lovely quite rural location . Shower more of a wet room , no shower curtain but that didn’t bother us ,soon dried out . As previous reviews say not really suitable for self catering very little equipment but we always ate out anyway . Rooms do have a kettle .Short walk to beach and town , only negative the beds were very hard otherwise would have given five stars . Supermarket right next door as is the road to the beach Tip paradissio taverna on the beach perfect for watching the sunset. Amazing cocktails at oasis bar a short walk away on the road into town . Only actually went into the town on one evening there are some lovely bars and restaurants on the road from the Daisy and plenty of bars on the beach . Check the prices of sunbeds on the beach they seemed to range from 12 euros to 25 for two bed and a parasol

Had to spend 48 hours here as our room was not ready at our booked hotel was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Had a basic room but had a TV, fridge and great air con. Had 2 peaceful nights sleep despite mattress being a little harder than im used to. Rooms cleaned every day. Pool area was lovely and quiet despite being mid August. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely look at this hotel if returning to Tsilivi.

Visited the hotel Aug 23 . We are just having a last hour on the balcony before going home . We are self catering .. Check-in was fast and friendly .. We did buy the air con as it was needed. It was 100 euro for 8 days. The room is basic as expected .. clean and comfortable and a really good size balcony. We had a kettle .. large saucepan..frying pan and the usual tableware . Again basic but usable. Hotel is clean and tidy at all times . All the staff have been wonderful. There is a supermarket next door and if you turn left and walk to the bottom of the road the strip is there . The beach road is opposite the supermarket and a 5 minute walk . We are booking to come back next year . If you're looking for luxury don't book here if you're looking for an authentic Greek family run lovely hotel you can't go wrong here .. We have loved it xx

I had a wonderful stay at the Daisy Hotel in Tsivili. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Neat and clean pool. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially Athena and Chris. The breakfast each morning was beautiful and so was dinner. For a 2-star hotel, it exceeded my expectations.

Recently returned from Tsilivi staying at Daisy apartments we had been before a few years ago and decided to return Thanks everyone for a lovely stay, These apartments are basic so not for meal making but coffee and snacks. They are spotlessly clean everywhere inclding pool side toilets The swimming pool is lovely and as hotel was quite we had it mostly to ourselves along with the pool bar and available food it was heaven. The rooms are basic but spotless and have everthing you need including kettle and hairdryer. The bathroom floor does get wet when showering but dries up quickly. I recommend a stay at Daisy and all the staff especially Mary and Athena on reception, lovely ladies.

I booked this back in March where the only reviews were from 2019 so when new reviews started to come in I was worried and even thought about changing hotel. I’m so glad I didn’t! Been to a different area of zante a few times but this was our first stay in Tsvilli. Yes it’s a 2* and you get what you pay for ! It’s a standard family run greek hotel and I’ve definitely been to worse! It was a bit dated but it has everything we needed. Was very clean! Cleaners came daily new toilet roll daily and sheets and towels changed I think twice in our week stay. Didn’t try any of the food at the bar but it was always busy and if you don’t like what they have to offer you’re literally 5 mins walk to the main strip with loads of options! Wi-Fi wasn’t great but I got 5g the whole time which is included in my phone package so might just want to check before going you won’t be charged extra. But we hardly used our phones we were always out and about. Such a good location so close to the beach and at the end of the strip so everything is walking difference but it wasn’t so busy being out of the way. Staff were always polite when we spoke to them so no issue there. Very relaxing by the pool and the pool area always clean. All in all an amazing stay we are getting married close by in a couple of years and will suggest this hotel to guests! Hope no one is put off by other reviews and if you don’t want basic don’t book a 2* !

We have just returned from an 11 night stay at the Daisy apartments, and after being worried over previous reviews we read before going had a great stay. Yes the room was a tad dated but large and spotlessly clean, we were in room 101 at the back of the hotel looking over a field with olive trees, so peaceful. The staff work so hard and are very friendly and helpful. We had fresh towels and sheets every 3rd day. The pool bar food was really lovely and Nick the barman is amazing. We knew when booking there was no kettle so took our own. Overall a great stay would return. Lovely resturants and bars on the way into town, just a 5/10 .inute stroll.Recommend Oasis bar and Avra resturant opposite amazing food.

We stayed here for 10 days in September, lot of mixed reviews. Got to bare in mind it states self catering, but it doesn’t include microwave/kettle/toaster very basic self catering facilities. We were fully aware of this before we went so no complaint from us as we knew before we arrived. It’s a 2* hotel & I 100% would give the hotel a 3* & staff, pool, reception area & comfortable beds a 5*. Fantastic spot to be for beach & all the superb restaurants. We stayed in room 110, balcony on the back looking out on to olive trees. So quiet & yes the aircon is 90 euros which we had for 7 nights & didn't on the last 3 nights as was a bit cooler. Maybe Daisy Hotel tip you might want to include it in the holiday price & people would just pay it without complaining. Don’t let the bad reviews put you off staying at this hotel, make your own mind up we weren’t disappointed & will be back. Cheers to the barman & reception staff for being so friendly 🌞🕶👍😘

I’m not going to write a lengthy review, but just touch on the points that are important. Hotel receptionist during the day was somewhat attentive but staff member during the evening was atrocious, lacked simple understanding of English so most issues were lost in translation. Plumbing was terrible, in most instances having to flush three or four times before waste was removed. Room itself, despite dated, was what you would expect for a two star. The bathroom however was, in our opinion, not even worthy of one star status. Limescale is attached to most of the faucets, extraction fan cord was covered in black mould, shower tray was tiny and curtain was unsanitary. Cleaning staff on one of the days left our room door completely open whilst we were out. The door wasn’t just unlocked, it was open. This is where I have the issue with the evening hotel staff as I mentioned this, clearly furious, and it was like it wasn’t a problem. Basic facilities that you would expect with a room, such as a fan for the heat, a television, a phone for reception in emergencies and a kettle to boil water should it be needed are not available in the room. If you wanted these extra services, charges were extortionate. For example it was €90 per week for air conditioning. Additionally, if your room had air-conditioning you were not afforded the opportunity to rent a fan for the lower price of €15 per week. You had to take the AC. Outrageous. Prices for the pool bar we’re also inflated considering this is a two star Hotel. For example, a chip butty which is essentially a baguette and a portion of chips was €6. It is a shame as this hotel has a lot of potential, but price gouging and lack of customer service has led us to the conclusion we will not be returning customers.
