Just returned from a fabulous week here with my daughter. The hotel is snall and adequate for a no frills holiday. The staff were absolutely brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble and you only needed to ask and they would make it happen. For this reason we had a great time during our stay. Breakfast was continental so was adequate. Plenty of choice to start your day. Our room was a twin which was comfortable and immaculate. The only thing I was not aware on arrival was air conditioning was an additional cost. I wasn't too happy but had no choice but pay for it as it was mid 30 degrees heat with high humidity so it was a neccesity. Also the bathroom did flood after a shower and became very wet. So the bath mat needed drying on our balcony. But these things did not hinder our stay. The pool was lovely as was the bar and we made some lovely friends during our week there. The beach, bars and restaurants were 10 to 15 minutes walk away so the hotel is in a perfect location. I would recommend this hotel if you are not looking for a simple no frills clean and friendly place to stay.
I look forward to returning very soon.

We stayed here for 2 weeks the back end of August. From arriving at reception on the first day to the last day, the staff were fantastic.

We stayed in 414 in the junior suites at the back of the main building and was very impressed with the room.and the facilities. The maid came everyday to change the bin and top up the toilet roll and changed our sheets 2-3 times which I thought was adequate due to the covid regulations. She was always pleasant and cheery which was nice as she worked so hard in the heat.

Sandra on reception who runs the hotel is lovely inside and out, we was made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble and again she was always smiling which was contagious!

Alex at the pool bar was a great host, he's an absolute credit to Sandra and the hotel. My husband automatically became great friends with him and would chat all day given the chance, they had a bro-mance for the 2 weeks! 🤣

Sissy was great, her humour was contagious and she was so welcoming, so much so when the bars were due to close up we would always make it back for a night cap and a catch up with Sissy.

I couldn't rate this hotel enough, we have been to Tsilivi 5 times previous to our stay and would definitely choose this hotel above any of the others in the future.

We already can't wait to book again for next summer!!

Sandra, Alex and Sissy keep up the good work! Your hard work pays off and thank you so much for our fabulous holiday of 2020!!

Much love
Victoria & Ashley xxx

Just returned from the Petros on our second visit after previously being here 3 years ago and not much has changed. Breakfast is adequate but some real orange juice would be a bonus. Credit to all the staff for all their hard work and to Sandra and her colleague on reception for going the extra mile to make our stay special. Hotel is perfect location 10 mins from bars and restaurants, make sure you call into Sandra's Bar on the way always make you feel welcome. Rooms are perfectly adequate, hotel is small and friendly but not over crowded perfect for the price you pay, hotel is 3 star but you will get 5 star service. Met some great people and we Will definitely be retuning.

We returned as a family of 3 towards end of August and this olace is a little gem of a place.
The welcome from Sandra was perfect and very friendly.
From the moment we arrived we noticed how clean the hotel was and how hard the staff worked to keep all areas clean.
The room was basic but more than adequate for our needs and air con is paid for locally but well worth it and reasonably priced.
The pool was fantastic and my 4 year old lived being in there all day everyday.
Alex at the pool bar was an excellent host and the food and drink sections were great and good prices.
The hotel is a 7 min walk I to Tsivili which is a stunning resort and again very friendly and superb tavernas and food.
I recommend Venus Beach Bar also when wanting to go to the beach.
As an I dependent travel agent in the UK I highly recommend this hotel if visiting Zante in 2021.
My heart goes out to everyone there after todays news from our UK government.
We will be back and you guys will come back bigger and stronger.
Thanks for a wonderful holiday.

Had to write a review as we had a very peaceful week here last week. All staff are very friendly and helpful, sandra kindly accommodated a ground floor request for us due to my son injuring his leg last minute and Joy on housekeeping was very friendly and hardworking!..we stayed in the junior suites around the very peaceful back of the hotel with lovely views and comfy beds. Our towels and bins were done regularly and beds changed n floors cleaned once throughout our stay which was fine for us.
All communal areas were clean n tidy, pools were very clean. This is a 3 star hotel and in my opinion value for money maybe a little dated in places but in good working order n a well looked after hotel!.
Breakfast was minimal, maybe could have a little more fruit on offer but cereal, toast n continental, all fresh produce, enough to start your day off but if you want more the pool bar has a lovely selection of choices and all cooked fresh to order. There is also a local shop selling amazing fresh fruit about 100yrds away.
Its about a 10 minute walk to the centre n a few minutes more to the beach but if you ask the locals/staff there are plenty of short cuts you can make but the walk is ok if you dont mind a short stroll with plenty of bars and restaurants on the way and also plenty of taxis buzzing about if you don't want to walk. My 9 yr old daughter and my son with a recovering knee injury managed it ok, sometimes twice a day as we had family staying closer to the beach.
The best thing for us was the peace and quiet it is set with lovely surroundings and very quiet and relaxing...we would certainly return. Thank you everyone at hotel petros for a lovely holiday!👍

The hotel staff were very helpful and breakfast was good. Location was also good with just a short walk to the local bus stop and 15 minute walk into town. Having read the poor reviews on TripAdviser just before travelling I contacted the hotel and tried to book an ungraded room, and was told that none were available. We were allocated room 210 which was in desperate need of modernisation. The beds were very uncomfortable which meant it was difficult to get a good nights sleep. The bathroom was extremely poor and did not feel clean. Shower head was dirty and curtain supports had black mold on them. It could not be used as the curtain just stuck to you whilst showing. Leaky sink tap which also made a noise when it was running. Pop up plug in the sink did not work, was dirty and had to be pulled out manually. Extra charges for Aircon and use of the safe were not expected and added an addition 100 Euros to the cost of the holiday. Sunbeds around the pool were old and uncomfortable. I would not stay at this hotel again until the rooms are modernised.

Thank you for your comments. I assure you that we will take into account. I can understand your frustration, however the three different types of rooms we have are clearly presented by our partner travel agencies, with different prices and photos for each room room type. Also the extra facilities ( a/c and safety box) are clearly mentioned by all the travel agencies we cooperate as extra payable locally. I believe that you reported your complaints to the reception and we resolved them immediately as our response time to what we can fixed is immediate. If you've decided not to mention the minor damages that arise in every hotel globally, during your stay here but highlighted them on your review - after your check out, I'm sorry to inform you it is too late for us to help you in any of the problems you've faced with , but thank you for helping next occupants of room 210 to be happy with their stay !!! We wish we could have the possibility to offer you all the amenities and the service of a 5* hotel under the price of a 3* hotel (as Petros Hotel is) but unfortunately this would be destructive to the survival of the hotel. Thank you for your time to leave us a review and the opportunity to respond to you.

The hotel is very competitively priced and is quite close to the centre of Tsvili. The staff are helpful and the place is generally clean and presentable. However you do have to pay extra for both a safe (14 euros a week) and air-conditioning (56 euros a week). The A/C turned out to be very noisy so we didn’t use it. The pool and bar area is nice but the children’s pool area has no parasols, so is completely unused. The main pool is close to a main road, so not ideal for young children.

Great Small Hotel .
Very Friendly and Helpful staff .Hotel very clean from top to bottom , the pool area and the outside Bar area is also kept the same .
The Breakfast is poor and is the same each morning.orange juice is watered down.
The Food from the outside Bar /Restaurant is very Nice and fresh from the full English breakfast to the fresh sandwich's , Toasted sandwiches or pizza and pasta .
Thanks Sandra ,Alex and the Rest of the staff .

We had an excellent stay at Petros hotel. Its a basic hotel but has everything you need for a nice/comfortable stay in Tsvilli! After reading reveiws on here we decided to book the junior suite as reveiwers said how much nicer the rooms are, as the block where the junior suits are have been revamped. I am so glad I did book the junior room as past guests was right, these rooms are sooo much nicer! We originally got given a standard room which I must say was very tired looking. I spoke with Sandra at reception and informed her that we did book a junior suite. Sandra sorted this out for us straight away and we was given a junior suite a few hrs later. The staff at the hotel are lovely and very helpful. The room was cleaned regularly with fresh bedding and towels provided. My only issue was the price of drinks at the pool bar. For x2 Jack danials and coke we was charged 16 euros!! Safe to say we only had the one drink at the pool bar as we felt this was extortionate for 2 JD and cokes. The hotel is literally 15/20 min walk to the beach and a 10 min walk to the strip where all the bars and restaurants are. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

My 15 year old son and I just spent an enjoyable week at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and I thought the breakfast was typically continental and satisfying. There were plenty of sunbeds and there was none of the getting up early to bag a spot
We were allocated room 201 situated on the corner of the building and on the main road. The noise from the traffic is horrendous, there are dogs barking at night and the local cockerell starts crowing early morning. Given the location it was impossible to sleep with just the shutters down and with the doors fully closed it was very warm. Air con is 10 euros per night. We were reluctant to pay this and so the nights were quite uncomfortable. As the daytime temperatures crept over 30 I did ask reception if, given the noise, they would be prepared to give us air con for the final 2 nights as a goodwill gesture and this was refused although we were given the option of moving to a quieter room.
If you book this hotel and are given a room at the front of the building I would advise asking for a quieter room from the beginning. The staff were friendly, we were happy with the room in general but the noisy room would put.me off returning.

Dear Gail2402, thank you for your review as it is similar to many others here, complaining about the noise of the animals and the street noise which is not a central city road but a provincial road of a tourist area of the island. it's a fact and it's not going to change - no matter how much you complain. Our hotel is located in the countryside. Animals also live in the countryside and like all over the planet also in Tsilivi , roosters are crowing in the morning and dogs are barking. This is beyond our strength to change it and it is not a reason to compensate with free of charge air-conditioning people who are not happy with the noises of the countryside. Just for your information, we have repeated guests for years , who prefer the rooms on this side of the hotel, because the sun does not hit them during the day and they are cooler than others , also these people love to wake up with the sounds of nature. Thank you for mentioning we gave you the option to move to another room according your preferences as we are happy to help our guests having a happy holiday, within our reasonable possibilities.
