We stayed at this hotel in May for two weeks. We had a lovely holiday whilst in Kenya, possibly made more special by the safari. The hotel was nice enough but I wouldn't say its four stars. It does need a bit of TLC as some parts are looking a bit tired but overall the pool is a lovely size...

Not back long from two weeks at the southern palms for honeymoon. The resort itself looks fantastic. Pool area is massive and well maintained as are the gardens. Be careful of the pool water as it will turn white cloths/blonde hair green! The salon is excellent also. Reasonably priced and the staff are extremely nice and friendly. Likewise with the...

My boyfriend and I stayed in Southern Palms for one week back in June 2010. The holiday was quite a bargain because we came in rainy season (it did rain twice but these were very short showers). The hotel was very quiet during our stay with about four other guests, again I think this was because of the time of...

Wonderful resort, very diverse in what it offers even for a demanding guest. The poolarea is so spacious that both secluded as well as more lively areas are available for e.g. aquajogging. Personnel is very friendly and pro-active in making sure you have a great time. The rooms and beds are nice and tidy, The three restaurants offer a diverse...

Stayed here for two weeks, hotel staff were lovely, hotel was clean, swimming pools perfect, food was average, what you expect from a buffet catering to a few hundred mouths of different nationalities. Partner did get sick, wasn't the food, more likely a mozzie bite, but went to diani beach hospital and got treated like royalty. she was fighting fit...

I was here end May to mid June for a fortnight and a day with my wife and three young children. We were initially apprehensive en route from the airport as the place seemed desolate however the resort was a sight to behold! The gardens are immaculate, as the pool which was cleaned twice daily and the beach was also...

Just returned from our holiday. The room was very nice, basic but clean, pools were lovely and never used the beach because of the pestering beach boys. The breakfast was ok bwith freashly made omlettes, dinner was poor with little choice and if something was finsished no replacement. The grill was very good. We used Julius Nzumbi for our safari and...

The garden, beach, layout of the rooms in the garden, the swimming pools all very OK, but the rooms are not really OK. It takes ages before they help you with complaints about the smell. We had a very smelly room (moist problems). The rooms are not very clean, especially the bathroom. Considering the price and the stars they claim,...
