Half term holiday with my daughter and grandsons. I paid an extra €6 per night for a Superior one bedroom apartment which was lovely with a great sea view but oh dear, that hill and all the steps! I have mobility and heart problems and would never have booked this accommodation if I’d known how it was situated.

Eric kindly offered us another apartment on the lower level close to the restaurant and main bar/pool area but I decided to hire a car (€300) for the week as I thought it would be very noisy. Having the car also meant we could get out and about a bit and we visited Sant Eulalia and Es Canar which were about a 30/40 minute drive.

Rooms were cleaned daily (except the kitchen area?) and towels changed daily. Food wasn’t good, very limited choice and always lukewarm. We ate out on 4 days out of 7! Breakfast was the best meal of the day although the chef needs to learn how to cook bacon properly, only cooked lightly on one side! Staff were all helpful and friendly.

Don’t miss meals as the advertised ‘snacks’ consisted of a pack of biscuits or a small cupcake, we were expecting hot dogs, burgers, toasties etc as we’ve always had before on all-inclusive.

All in all we had a nice holiday, weather was mixed (3 days rain) and pool was icy cold! Jellyfish in the sea and on the beach. Wouldn’t return to Sant Miguel or to this accommodation. Jet2 need to make it clear that it’s not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

The hotel rooms were basic but our room was clean and all the staff from the cleaners to reception front of house and bar staff were very friendly and helpful. We chose a 2 bed apartment and we had a sea view. The apartments are on a hill so there are lots of steps and a hill to get to the top apartments but this added to the appeal for our family as we like to keep fit and saw it as an opportunity to see who could climb it the quickest. It also added to the character of the place and meant we could look for lizards in the flower beds next to the paths up. There are 2 pools so if your apartment is at the top then you don't have to walk all the way down to get to a pool. There is a great view of the beach from the top pool. We chose the half-board option which we were pleased we did as the lunches looked very similar to the dinners and would be too much food for us. We bought light, picnic lunches from one of the supermarkets which we either ate by the poolside or on the beautiful beach.
The beach was a short walk down the hill and was perfect for us. There was a takeaway pizza bar on the beach, supermarket for picnic lunches, water sports available and a boat taxi to the next bay round.
Not much happens in the evenings - there are a few restaurants which you would need to book a table for if you didn't want to eat at the hotel for a change. We enjoyed a few sunset swims.
The entertainments at the hotel was cute - our 11 and 12 year old enjoyed it but it did become very samey especially if your stay is over a week. So we visited other hotels some evenings and enjoyed their entertainment on the nights it was bingo or karaoke at our hotel.
You can easily go to reception to ask for a taxi to get to other parts of the island. We went to Ibiza town late one afternoon and evening to enjoy the sights of the old town and markets and restaurants along the marina. It cost roughly 30 euros to get there and the same back. We also used taxis to get to Benirras (the beach round the next bay). We went to dinner really early and then got a taxi so we could listen to the drumming and watch the sunset. It was a great atmosphere there and the sun set directly over the water. There was a beach market and a few bars and restaurants. Sunday is the big day where lots of people arrive for the sunset and the drumming isn't allowed on a Sunday anymore. The bars became very lively after the sunset on the Sunday which was a wonderful vibe.
If you want a quieter resort as a base and don't mind walking up and down a hill then this is perfect for a family. We had a wonderful time.

We enjoyed our stay here, although in a very quiet area it was ideal for us. We were more than happy with our one bedroom apartment (2 adults, 2 teenagers) very spacious with a large balcony and the cleaners did a great job. All staff were friendly and although quite a small restaurant between 6 of us including a fussy teenager and a vegetarian we all ate plentiful all week. The staff kept food topped up and it was always nice and fresh. Would recommend if looking for a nice chilled out holiday which suited us perfectly.

Have just returned from this hotel and albeit we had a lovely holiday there are several negative downsides to this hotel. On arrival we were greeted by reception staff who were rude, unwelcoming and abrupt. Ushering members of our group out of reception shouting only 6 people allowed in at one time. Not exactly a warm welcome and not what you’d expect on checking in. Rooms were only ready at 3pm which was understandable and we got given keys to an unclean room to change and suitcases just had to be left in reception. Out of our group our room was up the steep incline, which didn’t bother us and the view from our balcony was lovely, room always clean and housemaids clearly worked hard each day. Our room seemed to be mixed within a residential block which didn’t bother us at all.
No race to a sun bed each day which was an added bonus and the 2 pools were spacious, although the top pool and area looked tired and dated and many sun beds were broken. This area has so much potential to be a lovely pool area and you have the added bonus of a lovely view of the beach from here. But sadly parts were very run down and unclean. The bottom pool on one of the days had to be closed for 24hours due to someone deciding to use it as a toilet the previous day!
The animation team, although offering limited and similar daily activities were great at getting you involved and were really friendly.
A selected few of the bar/restaurant staff were friendly other than that they were rude and ignorant. Food however, although only small amount on offer considering the size of the hotel, the food was always lovely. Snacks in between meal times were limited though.
You can get vouchers from the hotel for free kayaking at the beach and drinks from the beach bar which was great especially when the pool was closed!
Casey’s bar near the beach is a great Irish bar with live music and several eateries around. Very quiet part of Ibiza but local buses ran frequently to the more livelier parts.
Sadly wouldn’t come to this hotel again due to the rudeness and unfriendly nature from staff. (Bar/restaurant and reception staff).
Stayed several times in different parts of Ibiza and have never experienced such an unwelcoming hotel with members of staff who are clearly down right rude!!

We have just returned from an all inclusive 9 day fabulous family holiday. 2 adults plus an 18 and 17 year old. We highly recommend this hotel for the following reasons;
Our 2 bed superior apartment with sea views room 252 was perfect.
The views from the balcony and the roof top pool were dreamy.
Sun loungers were plentiful when we went to the pool for 11. No mad rush to put towels down required.
The resort is quiet with only a couple of bars so perfect for us.
The food was decent with plenty of choice.
The hotel was clean and the staff worked hard despite the soaring temperatures.
The beach bar had a lovely atmosphere with great views.
We made use of the kayaks which were great fun. You can use them for free between 2-6pm but you must collect a ticket from Reception on the day you wish to hire.
The beach is calm and shallow.
Make the effort to take in the sunset at Benirras beach. A taxi is 10 euros each way however getting home via the taxi rank is a bit of a bun fight so wear your assertive pants!
Also the views from Torres Des Molar are well worth the 40 mins hike.
We watched the footy at both Casey’s and Bartolos. I preferred Bartolos as it was more comfortable. The bar owner is very friendly and appreciative of your business.

Don’t go if the following are your thing;
This is not a lively resort so you will need to go somewhere else or be prepared to travel by bus or hire a car.
If cocktails are important to you, the hotels were probably the worst I’ve come across. However Casey’s near the beach were fab and they are very welcoming.
The snacks were very basic and not particularly appetising however other than an ice cream we never felt the need to snack as we ate well at the meal times.
You weren’t allowed to take a bottle of water from the bar to your room to put in the fridge which I thought was a bit unreasonable. You either buy a bottle or take cups of free water back to your room to decanter.
The evening entertainment was ropey at best however it’s not really my thing so I’m probably not the best to make comment. The game show quiz night the dance show seemed to go down with many but other than it was pretty tame most nights.

Overall for us they got most of the important bits right and we were very pleased with our stay.

Stoped here early August 2021, the check in was quick, room was very modern, cleaned every day.
The foods typical of all inclusive, not a massive choice but some nice meals throughout the week. Drinks and ice creams readily available.
The hotel is a 5min walk to the beach where there is 9/10 bars and restaurants. The village of San Miguel is
4km away €10 in a taxi, Portinaxt is well worth the €25 taxi fare the beach there is beautiful.
The hotel offers daily entertainment, excursions, tournaments, discos etc all run by Ray who was one of the nicest men you’d ever want to meet.

Nice hotel in a very quiet part of Ibiza. Staff were friendly and hotel was clean and well maintained. Food was ok for an all inclusive hotel but needed to be reheated in the microwave which was provided. Only thing to consider is the hillside location which won’t be for everyone, views were amazing but the daily hike 3 times per day for food and drink were exhausting. Some rooms are lower near the bar, pool and restaurant but others are in the clouds. Great holiday though.

I cried on my first day there because everything was so old and nasty (we left the hotel the next day). The room you see on the pics is one of the renovated ones, most are brown, dark and old. Our room had hair in the toilet and shower. Brown liquid streeks on the furniture??

We had to walk up a high hill to our room for 5 min. Multiple times a day in the heat. You also have to do this hike to go to the main pool.

We did not eat anything there (we had all in but the food looked gross and had 10 flies on it). They did not refund us one bit while we did not eat.

Don't make our mistake, you need a 3 or 4 star hotel in Ibiza for the bare minimum of hygene.

this hotel is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues even slight as very hilly. hotel itself was clean staff were friendly helpful polite, as been here before in 2018 thought we would return 2021 on the downside the food was a let down as it was look warm & had to be heat up in the microwave. entertainment this time round was poor though Ray did do his best to get people involved. unfortunately we wont be going back even though it was a good holiday where we got to relax

We stayed here 15th-22nd June 2022. Overall was a really great hotel and location. The beach is not as hard to get to as other people are saying, its about 5 mins and most of it is flat. Room was dated but very clean and working perfectly. The buffet had a limited selection and got repetitive when there for a week, but what else do you expect? People moaning about selection are the same people who buy the same Asda shop every week. Friendly staff who are more than happy to help you practise your Spanish. The choice of two pools was good too as you could be by the noisier pool with music, or by the quieter pool with the view of the bay. Only downside of the quiet pool was the bar is closed from 1:30-3:30 I think (just go and have lunch at this time). We very much enjoyed and would recommend:)
