Do NOT pay in advance/do NOT prepay to this hotel!!!! This hotel is NOT worth your faith, nor your trust , nor your money. After our prepayment to the hotel (by credit card), upon arrival we were not satisfied about our room/suite/appartment (Nansy, the owner, can explain you the "subtile" difference between the three and its great consequences: for example no COCOMAT mattrasses for us, while prominenlty claimed on the hotel-website, a lousyand small bathroom/WC/douche, a very "authentic" kitchen). Nansy refused to take our complaints seriously and we could not leave earlier than after the 12 days/nights we prepaid for......Nansy kept the total amount of the prepaid money.....: about one thousand euros for an old and old fashioned "appartment"(?) and a spoiled holiday for our time at Scorpios. Also 1 "plus": the cleaning and housekeeping were perfect!

I was in Samos for a day on business and wanted somewhere to base myself. But my assignment was prolonged by circumstances beyond my control. And that's when the delights of Scorpios revealed themselves. The pool is splendid. Deep, big enough to do laps and gloriously clean on a balcony overlooking a cove. The best surprises came at breakfast time. Travellers to Greece know all about dreadful hotel breakfasts with anaemic cheese and pink cold slices of meat of indeterminate origin. But Nancy prides herself on stimulating the palates of her guests with a constantly changing display of Samos kouzina, or cuisine. There were delicacies I have never seen before, having been coming to Greece for over thirty years. Feta cheese with home made chilli marmalade. Carrot marmalade flavoured with lemon scented geranium, fluffy omelettes with feta tomato and oregano. Many of the fresh organic ingredients came from the hotel garden. Yoghurt with sour cherries. The list goes on. If you are looking for Filoxenia, you will find it here.

I go there since 2003 and I still have the woah reaction. It's THE paradise. The hotel has a super sea view and is located in a calm area ( more than calm area). It has a its own private parking 5 meters in front of the hotel The owners welcome you with a big KALIMERA at the pool bar. We've got a small kitchen in the rooms so if you want to cook something, it's up to you. For the breakfast, you need to ask before to the owner that you would like a breakfast and she'll give you the breakfast. It's not free but the price is not expensive at all! And if you take one, you'll be almost full for the day ( fresh cheese from a local farm, vegetables, fresh orange juice, honey from the island) on the pool bar terrace with a view on the swimming pool and the sea. There's also suites that are perfect. The owner is an artist so you'll find some of her paintings around the hotel. The swimming pool is nice and big and you have sunbeds around. If you want to go to the swimming pool, ask the owner to have a towel. The housekeeper comes everyday to clean your room. The hotel is not really far from the port so you can walk to it. It'll take maybe 30 minutes but it's perfect. That's the place to be and I'll know that I'll go there next year. Why I go evzrytime at the same place?well. If you fall in love to a place and you feel comfortable and you're happy when you're in that place, why would I change the place? If you're lucky, you'll meet the family and it always nice to talk with them.

We decided to spend our last night on Samos near the city and chose this beautiful and affordable hotel. Owner Nansy (who also runs an art gallery nearby) is obviously very dedicated to this wonderful place, everything is spic & span clean, all Covid19-measures were taken. The view from our deluxe suite was magnificent and the breakfast was a feast of local products. Highly recommended!

Wonderful place that lives up to all the pictures on the website. Nancy is a charming host. And the location overlooking Vathy Bay is spectacular. Reviews must be over 200 words but I have nothing more to add

The suite is really spacious, with a small terrace and a nice sea view. The room is well detailed and perfectly clean, the bed is very comfortable. There is a good modern lighting and a nice bathroom (be careful with the shelf over the basin). It would have been useful to have a kitchenette.

Had a wonderful time at Scorpios hotel. Special thanks to Nansy, her husband Panayiotis, their daughter and the staff for their exceptional service and friendliness. The location of this hotel is perfect. The views are fabulous. Very peaceful location for the ultimate relaxation. It is a short drive to Samos town and other towns as well as superb beaches. The breakfast is prepared and served with great pride and care. The ingredients are fresh and homemade. Breakfast is recommended - it will take you through till your evening meal.
