This is a guest house and is situated up the hill by bus stop 1 (we don’t consider this a central location) It is accessible by many steep steps behind The Fresh bar in the harbour, or up the hill (towardsThe Windmill) not ideal if you are not very mobile. It’s the main route into town for mopeds so is VERY noisy, constant traffic. Whilst the rooms are spotless, they are tiny, no where to put anything, nowhere to put suitcases. Beds are very comfortable. There is no kettle (luckily we bought our own kettle, cups and spoon) their is no facility for breakfast. There is a fridge and some wine glasses. We stayed here for 4 days, couldn’t imagine doing 1-2 weeks here. We thought it was quite expensive at €140 euros a night, wish I’d researched better. Also our safe didn’t work so a nuisance having to carry valuables around with you all day. Lady on reception up until about 4 o’clock, she is lovely.

Appeared a small room at first, but surprising how many useful facilities are there. Great air-conditioning, strong, large shower room. Free toiletries of course. Bathroom robes and slippers, big fluffy cotton ones. Safe box. Flat screen TV. Water supplied in fridge, very clean and modern. Bit of a climb up a slight hill to get there, but not too bad. Wouldn’t recommend for wheelchair users. Most importantly, the owner Monica was incredibly helpful.

We've visited Skiathos many times and on our last stay there we chose 8kto hotel. We are totally satisfied. New hotel, nice and comfortable rooms, well equipped! The location is perfect as it is 5min walking from the port and less than that from Papadiamanti str. Last but not least advantage the kindness of the receptionist. We'll stay again for sure!

We have recently been forced to cancel our holiday to Skiathos, Skopelos, and Alonnysos because of the floods. We received full refunds from every hotel, ferry, car hire company, and airline EXCEPT THIS HOTEL(8kto guesthouse). They provided no service but kept the full payment, refusing to refund us. It was not humanly possible to get to the island because the airlines and ferries had shut down. We are very disappointed in their attitude towards their customers. This reflects a poor business ethic. We will not be returning to this hotel or recommending it.
