Rooms are okay, v basic but clean, good value, staff nice apart from one who was slightly rude but the rest were exceptional. I don't think I would return unless I stayed in the new rooms. It is a good option but not for me.

Property's Favourite Review
This place is just perfect (almost). After booking in Aug 2019 and having to cancel for two years we finally had our long awaited holiday here and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Let me tell you about the less than perfect bits first….. (1) this really isn’t suitable for anyone with physical Limitations which it does say on the website but just to hammer it home DON NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO WALK UP STEPS OR SHARP INCLINES as the whole ‘resort’ is built into the side of a very undulating (stunning) area (2) There is a fanatical sunbed cleaner in the residence next door who insists on blowing the leaves off of the sunbeds with a loud blower at 8am every morning! Other than those two tiny things this place is utterly perfect….. from the pick up at the port with spiros, to the warm welcome and introduction to the area from Doreen. From the three amazing waiting staff Joanna, Fani and who introduce themselves as soon as they see you and spend all day looking after you on the beach, in the taverna at breakfast and also in both the tavernas for lunch and dinner, to the chefs and cleaners who are friendly and helpful. The villas/studios are comfortable, well equipped and traditional in style with the added bonus of air conditioning in both bedroom and lounge areas. Our outside terrace was large and had breathtaking views. The beach was stunning, with crystal clear calm waters and not overly busy. Glyfada beach villas has its own private area for guests which whilst small was always clean and sunbeds were always available. There is also a pretty sunbathing deck on the beach and then a seperate more private beach which as guests you have keys to (it’s gated) which again is stunning. The main beach is beautiful and is a sought after bay as Super yachts often anchor up for a couple of hours most days which from the lower pool terrace was great people watching! There are two other restaurants along the beach…. We tried both but neither were a patch on the tavernas at Glyfada BV Both pools are stunning with showers, toilet and the upper pool has a handy changing room for departure day. The food in the restaurant is lovely although we found lunch preferable to dinner…. But that’s just personal choice. The hotel taverna is open for dinner 4 nights per week and on the other three Spiros runs the minibus to and from lakka and loggos. The beach taverna offers a delicious Greek continental breakfast which is included and it’s worth going down to just sit and take in the views alone! It’s also open for lunch which was reasonably priced and delicious. Both Loggos and Lakka are nearby by cab and we can highly recommend Your Paxos Driver (owned by a couple who have a minibus seating 8 and a car for 4) I could go on forever about how much we loved this place….. It’s all about the personal Touches, it’s feels a little bit exclusive, and you feel like you are in a little haven… slightly off the beaten track and away from crowds. Thanks to Doreen, Spiros and the whole team for a thoroughly fantastic holiday! Would Love to Come back here again one day!!

Having just ready the review by Mashy2008. I would reiterate all their comments about this place too. Like many others, this was a delayed trip due to Covid and Doreen couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating, which just carried on throughout the whole pre, during and post our holiday. Everything was well organised with Spiros collecting us from the port and taking us to Glyfada. Lovely welcome and intro. It is very steep, although there are golf buggies that can be used to help. Our villa was just fine for 2 of us (our adult children joined us for 1 week and had their own villa too). We stayed for 10 days and the villa had air con which really helped, seating area and kitchen with toaster, kettle (great for us tea drinkers), normal sized fridge, cups, glasses, plates, cutlery and coffee machine. Bathroom had shower and was ok. There was shampoo and shower gels, but not that we used them. There is no TV, but we didn't miss it at all. There is wifi. Nice touch as cleaner left us some washing up liquid as we forgot to bring some, so we could wash up the cups and glasses we used. Outside, nice view of the sea and chairs and table, plus hanging and pegs for use too. This has to be the first time in years I haven't had to worry about sun beds. There are plenty, either on the beach, decking area there too, plus at the 2 pools. We preferred the salt water one, with nice view and the beach. Sea lovely and you get a key to access the private more secluded beach too, which is really nice too. We enjoyed the breakfast in restaurant by beach and there was plenty of bread, rolls, croissants, meats, cheese, jams, honey, plus orange juice, fruit, yogurt, cereals and tea and coffee. Decent start to the day. We did have lunch in the same restaurant on many days. It was in the shade, with nice breeze, so good to get out of the sun for a bit. Food really good and reasonable prices. We did try the taverna on the beach, but food not as good and more expensive. The cocktails were ok though. They also have paddle boards, etc to hire there. At the other end of the beach is Ben's bar. We did try here one late afternoon, but it was crazy. People throwing drink everywhere and clearly out of hand. I think this was a one off. in any event both this and the taverna close in the evening as service those visiting for the day. There are plenty of boats that moor in the bay and come to the bar. Also, Glyfada has table tennis, tennis and basketball. We had fun on the table tennis for a small fee. We ate at Glyfada in the evenings too and this restaurant is up by the salt water pool and it set in the olive trees with lights. Very Mamma Mia! Food really good, with sufficient options for us all and to avoid having to have the same thing during our stay. Spiros taxi is a great idea. Liked that takes you to Loggos on Tuesday and Lakka on Thursday for fee at 7pm and collects you at 10pm. Well worth going to both as some great restaurants and bars. We did get a taxi on a couple of other nights to Gaios and Loggos and this worked out ok too. You can walk to Loggos up and down the donkey steps. Pretty rough going and takes about 20 mins. Not something I'd want to do in the dark, Gets you to a supermarket and can get to harbour with boat hire, etc. We did it once! The whole team as so helpful and this was a lovely location, with a relaxed atmosphere, with good food and drinks. A great place to relax and also sample other parts of Paos. Would highly recommend.

We had a great holiday here in the beautiful Stone Villa. Doreen is so helpful and on hand to solve every problem - we hadn't brought beach towels so she leant us some that had been left behind (laundered!). The staff are all very friendly and the place is so clean and welcoming, overlooking the lovely pebbly beach. Highly recommended. Thank you, Doreen and Spiros!

The property unfolds in a steep downhill olive and cypress grove.Although the very helpful owners will give you a ride in a golf buggy when you arrive, one has to know that he will need to make the steep ascend a few times each day.Breakfast is served upon the beach in the lowest part of the property, and there are free umbrellas & sunbeds for the residents. There are 2 pools, the larger one a level up where the breakfast is served.Regarding breakfast a wider choice of coffees would be greatly appreciated,as only filtered coffee is provided in the price. The other problem we had,was that the sleeping area in the upper part of the room was very hot,and not covered by the lower placed A/C unit!We were advised to use a very noisy tabletop wind turbine which caused dryness of the eyes and difficulty to sleep because of the noise. As it was a very warm week, this proved a major problem which really lets down the beautiful work done by Spyros and Doreen. I am writing these comments in good heart,so that the sleep quality problems could be addressed. The hotel is best for fit people who have already seen the Paxoi and want to relax for a few days staying mostly in the premises as the road leading to Glyfada villas is very very narrow and complicated, and not great fun to do at night.

We wanted to stay here, but there were restrictions due to Covid. How annoying, as when we spent the day here today it was so beautiful. We arrived and the gate was locked so we needed to phone. The very lovey Doreen picked us up in a golf buggy and took us to the beach. Passing all the amazing villas. Once at the beach the view was amazing and we had the choice of sunbeds. A couple of euros to rent the sunbeds and a couple more to use the table tennis equipment. Everything was brand new and kept spotlessly clean. When we were ready to go Doreen picked us up again and then drove us to the donkey steps so it only took us a 10 minutes to get to loggos rather than the 30 minutes in the heat that we anticipated. This was a lovely gesture. Beautiful place and great owners. If we come back to Paxos, this is where we’re staying!!

Glyfada beach villas is a wonderful accommodation in front of the sea! We stayed for 4 days and had a great time! Two pools with awesome sea view and two beaches cover all kind people! Our meals were amazing! Breakfast offers a big variety for every taste! They also serve lunch and dinner at their restaurant which is maybe the best quality food in all Paxos and in very reasonable and good prices! Great hospitality from the owners and the staff very helpful and kind! Highly recommended!

We visited the taverna twice during a one week stay in Lakka in July having previously stayed at one of the Villa's. It was obviously quiet so we had no problem getting a table on both occassions but this has to be rated as one of the best decisions we made all holiday. We have always found Doreen to be a fantastic host and the food really good, but now? They have a new chef and the food was absolutely outstanding. We had starters and main courses which were all magnificent and the accompaning carafe's of wine worked really well ! Add in then the most amazing views of views and I cant think of anywhere else I would rather have lunch anywhere on Paxos. We are going back to Paxos for 2 weeks in September and will heading straight back here!

My wife and I are staying at a villa just a short walk from Glyfada Villa Resort. We went to Glyfada twice to use the beach and have lunch in the restaurant. When we first arrived we met one of the owners, Doreen and her black Labrador dog, Harry. She was very friendly and helpful, offering to drive us down to the beach in the on site golf buggy and then introducing us to her restaurant staff. We paid 6 euros to use the beach beds and ordered some morning coffee. Monica the young waitress brought the coffee to the beach. She was was lovely and had a wonderful smile. Later we ate in the restaurant with views over the bay and out over to mainland Greece. On both occasions the food has been excellent both for quality and for value. At the end of the day we were offered a ride back up to the entrance in the golf buggy. We could not fault the welcome, the food and service and of course the lovely setting. We would highly recommend Glyfada Villa resort for a visit. Lovely people.
