The Ocean Villas Praia Da Luz are well positioned holiday let, close to the Village and with amazing sea view. the Villas are comfortable with well placed bedroom to the front and rear of the villa. Great kitchen and living room space. Great pool for families. David and his staff and extremely helpful and engaging.

This is not a review of the accommodation itself but a review of the booking team (Star Villa Holidays) in the UK. Sadly we cancelled our group booking for our long anticipated family holiday for August 2024 due to the way I was spoken to by a team member. We had a concern about their terms of service and in particular about the term that stated that travel insurance must in place prior to making a reservation. The team member did not take the time to properly listen to our concerns (it is complicated because of the age of my parents who were making the booking on our behalf) . A slight administrative change to the name of who was staying in each unit would have greatly aided us and put my parents mind at ease but instead of being willing to appease us with this request, we were met with aggression and a condescending attitude. What a shame but we felt that we were left with no choice because if this was the attitude before our holiday even started, we were concerned about further problems going forward and their lack of empathy and 'customer centric' attitude. On another note, the gentleman in the office was very accommodating and patient with my parents so it is a shame that our experience was soured by one person.…

Lovely accommodation, big spacious 2 bed apartment with open plan living space. Overlooked pool with easy access by a few steps. 2 Bathrooms 2 Bedrooms. Spotless on arrival with all the little things thought of ... fabulous 10 days in Praia, our favourite Algarve resort. David and staff so helpful.

My family enjoyed a wonderful 4 nights at Ocean Villas Luz at the end of May and it was a great start to our 2 weeks in Portugal. This was our first time in the Algarve and in Praia da Luz BUT definitely not the last. I knew upon booking that Ocean Villas Luz was going to be a great stay and our experience only proved that! The 2 bedroom apartment was so spacious with everything we needed for our short stay, especially in the kitchen and with storage space. The entire place from our apartment to the pool to the gardens were so beautiful, quiet, and relaxing. My kids LOVED the pool, which provided a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee and relax while they played. We enjoyed having a terrace, which provided a great place to start and end our day. Stores, restaurants, the beach, and other sights were just a short walk away. The only negative of our stay was that it wasn't longer. Next time I am back in Portugal, I will make sure that Praia da Luz and Ocean Villas Luz are part of my trip!…

Family of four, 2 adults,2 teens. We stayed in a 2 bed Villa for 12 nights. Having stayed in many different types of self-catering accomadation over the years, it took us until now to find the best! The villa was spacious, bright & spotless. Well kitted out kitchen, lovely indoor & outdoor seating areas and a very handy little utility courtyard to the rear. When you think of something you need, it turns out someone else has thought of it already! Beds were really comfie with top-notch hotel style bedding. Regular towel changes and a full clean were much appreciated. Cristina & David couldn't have been more helpful, friendly & professional. The Villas are in a superb location, minutes walk from restaurants, shops, and the sea. Beautiful private garden to the front of the property. The pool and table tennis table were well used by our teens. All in all, it is a fantastic accommodation option in Luz. So much so that when we return to Luz, I can't see us staying anywhere else! …

Beautiful view from the terrace, quiet, peaceful, although it was too chilly to swim, the pool looked lovely and the gardens were wonderful. The apartament had a nice ocean view. We had very well equiped kitchen and washing machine. We spent very nice holidays in Luz.

We booked this place for our family reunion. With five 1BR and nine 2BR2BA it was perfect for our group of 37 people. Each villa equipped with a well equipped kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine. Beds are very comfortable and the shower pressure is way better than what we have at home. Each villa has a private terrace with umbrella and a table. All villas have a fireplace. Swimming pool was very clean and the whole property was so well cared for. You have the most beautiful and peaceful lawn that goes to the ocean and has crack beds and chairs. What is the most important that administration and service people are incredibly friendly and accommodating . We felt like part of the family. All our guests want to come back and so do we.

We stayed at Ocean Villas in July and the apartments were very clean, well appointed, in a great location and the management team of Christina and David were very welcoming. This is where the positive ends. Unfortunately, due to poor maintenance I stepped on a broken concrete manhole cover at the side of the children's pool and fell through slicing my leg causing significant damage. Of course accidents can happen but it is when things go wrong on a holiday when you really learn about the quality of where you are staying and the company you are dealing with. I can say this with some authority as a former General Manager of a Villas company myself. For example there were NO First Aid kits in the apartment, one was produced by one of the managers however all contents were out of date by four years! Luckily we know to take our own first aid kit. The damage was completely dismissed by the owners and for the duration of our stay the broken manhole cover was only covered by a plant pot with no sign to warn other guests. It is this total disregard for health and safety I find the most worrying and it is for this reason I would be very cautious in booking Ocean Villas Luz. The owners have chosen to ignore this complaint which is very disappointing when so many people have had very positive experiences.…

We stayed here at the end of October and had the most fantastic stay. The apartments are a short walk (100 mts) from the many restaurants and bars. The settings of the apartment are beautiful with a lovely pool and gardens, a bonus is the beautiful front gardens beyond the hotel entrance which guests have access to and lead directly onto the seafront. The location should also be appealing to car renters who can access the coast to Sagres and then up the Atlantic coast which is only 30 minutes away from Luz. The apartment itself has great facilities and is very spacious. Will visit again.
