Lovely hotel! The rooms were very clean with fantastic views. Our room was cleaned every day and new towels were provided. The air con worked very well and unlike a lot of hotels, was included in the price of the room. Breakfast was ok- plenty of choice. The pool was lovely with very comfortable sunbeds and a great snack bar where drinks and food was served with a smile by Fotini. It`s a shame the restaurant does not serve evening meals but the tavernas opposite were excellent. Our flight wasn`t till late evening but we were offered the use of a courtesy room which has a shower and a place to change after using the pool or beach, and bags can be left near reception for safety. Paleokastritsa is beautiful but was very busy being August. Although a walk was necessary to get to a beach it wasn`t long and it meant the hotel was in a quieter area.

The hotel is in a beautiful location, spotlessly clean with very friendly and kind staff. Food in the snack bar by the pool was lovely a huge Tuna ciabatta roll with salad was plenty for 2 and the Greek Pitta with Doner meat was gorgeous and only 5 euros. Ice cream delicious and cold drinks and beer all reasonably priced. Breakfast was lovely with a nice selection and eating out on the terrace overlooking the sea was just perfect. We had the grand suite for 4 people and it was wonderful. The two pull out beds in the lounge were so comfortable as well as the kingsize in the main bedroom. Shop next door to the hotel sold everything so it was great to pick up bits and bobs to take with us to the beach. The first main sandy beach is a ten minute walk but it's beautiful with lovely restaurants and bars. Boats, donuts, pedalos all available to hire from this beach or the one further on down. Restaurants all served us fab food and again all reasonably priced. This hotel and the location enables you to experience a Greece that is not too commercialised.

We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of the season so it was very quiet. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic with lots of options, meats, egg, fruit, cereals etc. The view was spectacular over the bay even when opting for a standard double room. The room was very clean and thoroughly serviced. The reception staff were excellent and went beyond their duties in assisting us. The family restaurants across the road were fabulous with Greek cuisine and great value. It was very near the docks for renting a boat and the beach at Paleokastritsa. 30 mins from Corfu airport, we much preferred the quaint atmosphere of the small village.

Although not at the very top of the hill in this beautiful hillside village the hotel definitely gets top marks. There’s an air of the Cote D’Azure about this establishment, the view from beside the pool is exquisite. The pool is wonderful too, long enough to swim lengths or perfect for wallowing. The room was oh so comfy, I had the side of the building and could see the sea from my balcony. The greeting and welcome at reception was wonderfully charming and friendly yet still efficient, again a hint of those great hotels along France’s southern coast. I could just imagine Cary Grant and Grace Kelly stepping through the doors. Breakfast was perfect, healthy, old school or both, whatever you like. I will go back, thank you!

My wife and I have been here for the last 2 weeks. It is our first time in Corfu and the hotel is just perfect. Check in was quick and easy.. We have been in room 221, overlooking the swimming pool and directly out over the most beautiful view of the village and the sea. The room is immaculate, the cleaner who is brilliant services it daily and even replaces the towels daily (a bit excessive). Bedding changed regularly. Lockable safe is free, just ask for the key in reception. My only slight criticism is the layout of the shower over the bath which doesn't quite work. Everything is so clean though. The pool is lovely, sun beds are never hogged and you can always get a couple at any time of day so there is no need for anyone to leave towels out. Again the pool area is always clean and litter free. Breakfast is great with a pile of different choices buffet style. Fresh coffee from a machine or boiler. The pool bar serves canned beer and cocktails along with snacks throughout the day. The engine behind the breakfast service and pool bar is Fotina who works a 12 or 13 hour day always smiling and rushing around wanting to help everyone. She is a real star. Bus stop directly outside to catch the green bus to Corfu town, a number of beaches including the main one within 10 minutes walk. There is a lift from reception up to the 3rd floor, but not to 4th I don't think. The hotel is situated up a rise and there are lots of steps so it is not perfect for people with mobility problems. There are 3 restaurants right opposite the hotel. We tried them all and found the Belvedere to be the best. Lots of other restaurants within a 10/15 minute walk. This is a lovely genteel hotel in a great location. I don't usually go back to places, but I would not hesitate to come back here.

My wife and I spent the most wonderful week with friends staying at the Odysseus Hotel in Paleo. The last time we stayed here was 22 years ago but it was just as good as it was then. Korina and Babis welcomed us with open arms just like before. Fotini who looked after breakfast and the Pool bar was amazing and never stopped running around making sure guests were happy. We have stayed here several times now so I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone.
