Stayed in this hotel as a surprise special birthday treat. It’s got a great location and really nice outdoor facilities, with some great views from the pool area. Access directly on to a traditional tourist beach, and we could not fault the standards of accommodation or service from the staff. Breakfasts were excellent, as were the bar meals and drinks, There are some great local reasonably priced restaurants which we preferred to the evening buffet restaurant available in the hotel which had good choices although slightly limited mains for a fussy eater like me! Car parking is a bit limited but always managed to get our hire car parked. If returning to the resort would not hesitate to stay here again

Hotel's Favourite
Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious, peaceful get away. Firstly, reception staff very friendly on arrival and helpful with info on the hotel and local area. The room was immaculate and I believe recently refurbed with spectacular views of the bay (the bathroom was particularly nice and very modern). The location of the hotel could not be better with breath-taking views either side and mostly peaceful surroundings and a few restaurants to choose from, although we only ate out twice as the food at the hotel was great! What was particularly nice to see was a buffet abroad without chips, instead there were healthier and more tasty options with a mix of local cuisine and some worldwide favourites (the prawns we had one night were the best we had!). All of the staff in the restaurant were very attentive and would show us to our table and take drinks orders straight away. They would also try to find us a seat outside with the beautiful views when possible which was particularly romantic. The bay/beach was superb and a great touch that the hotel have some of their own beds to have for free, saving quite a substantial amount. Also, the staff at the beach bar were great (special shout out to Vagales!), both with the quality of service and the drink selection (cocktails were amazing, the passionfruit daquiri and 'Tropical Thai' our personal favourites). One of our favourite things to do was sit on the terrace overlooking the bay where there was excellent table service, lovely seating and relaxing music in the background. The bartender there was great (can't remember his name but he had a long(ish) white beard) as he was happy to make any drink we wanted (my special request being a long island iced tea which wasn't actually on the menu!). Everything was thought of in this hotel and every member of staff was helpful and happy and the overall quality of the facilities magnificent and well maintained. We think the price we paid was fair as it is slightly on the pricier side but it is the best hotel either of us have ever stayed in and we will be returning one day for sure!

Booked room a superior room with bay views, given room 505. We arrived at night so waking in the morning to the spectacular view was such a treat. The hotel is spotless, modern and smells wonderful! There are fantastic views from every corner of the hotel, the breakfast area, many lounges, pool, etc. Breakfast was plentiful and offered different items daily. The small beach was lovely, the beds and parasol can be rented and reserved from Akron beach bar for half price for hotel guests. Cons: The room is a little tight, if we had large luggage, not sure where it would be stored. Parking in the lot is very limited for the size of the hotel, but parking on the road just outside the gates was close and easy.

Corfu is undeniably one of the most gorgeous places in Europe. We have visited the island many times and stayed at several hotels, hence we are knowledgeable about how things stand. (We prefer going in low season, as the Greek islands tend to be overcrowded in the summer months.) This year we spent 10 wonderful days at the Akrotiri Beach Resort (late Sept. - early Oct. 2023). It was our second visit. At the risk of sounding repetitive, we, too, have to point out that the complex is situated in a stunning location - there are no words to describe the beauty of the views and the surrounding area. If you are a good swimmer, try the magnificent "Rocky Beach": the crystal-clear turquoise waters are warmer in the autumn. The ABR has always been a very good hotel. This year we were pleasantly surprised by how much things have improved. This is due to the recent refurbishment, which is tasteful and functional. Food quality is also exquisite: we deem any complaint about this issue unfair and unjustified. Generally speaking, during our stay the hotel exuded a "civilized ambience" - this is something very rare, and thus praiseworthy. The owners are affable and hospitable, and all staff members polite and efficient. Special thanks to the cleaning ladies, to Mrs Nicole (for arranging our reservation), to our friend George / Yorgos (who works at the Liston bar on the day shift), and to Spyros, a wonderful, competent gentleman (the buffet attendant at the main restaurant). The ABR is our preferred place in Corfu, and we are already planning to revisit next year. Trust us: we are picky! Best wishes, Iannis & Maria Remoundou.

Beautiful hotel perched on a clifftop with gorgeous views of the sunset. It was spotless and cleaners seen constantly working to keep it so. Staff were helpful and friendly esp Dimitri in the beach bar who gave us great restaurant recommendations for our stay. Recommend Il Pozzi up in the hill above the hotel for great food and views. Also enjoyed the walk to the Monastry - about 3kms away.

First night We rented a car from the airport and drove to Akrotiri Beach hotel in palaiokastrista, great home base and a lovely hotel ( we told a west side facing room, better view and recent renovation) Second day We spend the day on Triada Beach, and sun beds from Akron ( better precook from hotel and get 50% discount). We had dinner in Alipa Third day Agios Georgios beach we rented loungers from Delfini and then took a boat from Demitri to Porto Timoni ( from there we took a kayak to the third beach called Gali Faluki, a magical beach)

Great location, sensational views from all rooms. Great pool, nice evening bar. Breakfast was good. Lunch time menu by pool very nice. Dinner ok, great salads and cold starters, desserts great, main courses need a bit of work but ok in my opinion. Lovely staff, totally dedicated, well trained to provide first class services who all willing to help. Rooms well appointed. Tea / coffee facilities in rooms. 2 small bottles of water provided each day. Fridge in room. Well appointed bathroom, nice towels. The balcony door was a bit fiddly to close properly. Air con was good. Safe in room. Hotel is accessible for those with mobility issues in the main. Lifts ramps etc all in the right places. It is located in a very stunningly pretty but hilly resort. Access to the beach is a big challenge best part of 70 steps down from hotel. Access to rest of resort involves steep hills and lots of steeps. I would not recommend the town to anyone who has mobility problems or any walking issues. Loads of good local restaurants but did not see any local taxi services to get round to see them. So you will be walking a lot. Bring a torch if you plan to go out at night. Bring heavy duty mozzy spray and insect bite meds. We all got bitten despite using max strength spray.

I had an amazing stay with my family and would not hesitate to return to this wonderful hotel. The location and views, this is a beautiful area on the island of Corfu and the views from everywhere in the hotel will just take your breath away. The communal areas around the hotel are modern, relaxing and welcoming. Some very nice areas to have a drink and just chill. There is a lovely public beach (sun loungers to rent at a reduced price for hotel stayers), otherwise many (free) hotel sun loungers around pool area, the hotel’s own Rocky Beach and other areas. We stayed in late August and unfortunately, were never able to get a sun lounger at the Rocky Beach and at times, at other communal areas with sun loungers as they had been ‘reserved’ by people staying at the hotel (despite signs that sun loungers should not be reserved and left vacant from more than 30 minutes). Sun loungers were left vacant with towels for endless hours … very annoying, but nothing to do with the hotel. The rooms were great, comfy beds and good size, amazing views. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide range of choice and fresh produce. We did not do half board but hotel made some excellent recommendations for restaurants. Finally, the staff were just amazing. Kind, always smiling and very accommodating. They cannot be faulted, from the staff in the restaurant, to the cleaning staff and the reception staff. A special mention for Fotini who went out of her way to make our stay perfect and upgrade us from a family room to two rooms on the 5th floor. Thank you to all the staff at the Akrotiri beach resort hotel. Hope to see you again !
