Although we didn't stay here we did have breakfast a couple of times. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast for €10 per person to non-residents which is a really good offer. However the quality was hit and miss at times but adequate, the coffee from the machine was good.

The hotel has an amazing view of the bay. The rooms are cleaned well and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is good and staff very kind. Beautiful beach right in front of the hotel and great restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is a bit old and the towels were a bit hard.

We had a room in the Annex building of the hotel for one night. As already described by several people, the hotel is in an excellent location. Three beaches and restaurants a few steps from the building. The view can be most spectacular from the balconies of the main building. Due to the orientation, they overlook the stunning Agios Spiridon Beach. Directly in front of Annex's balconies is the large parking lot, but behind it you can see the cliffs of Agios Petros Beach and Ampelaki Beach and the sea. If you want a better view, go up to the Bella Vista Viewpoint and enjoy the view there. The building and the rooms are really reminiscent of the seventies. It is enough to mention my wardrobe, the quality of which can be compared with my grandmother's self-supporting, hand-assembled modular wardrobe. Besides, it smelled. At first, we couldn't decide whether we could smell the toilet next to the wardrobe, but it was definitely the wardrobe that smelled. Apart from the smell, it should be added that in this price category, and even slightly higher, this is the average in Corfu. II think this is the reality in a country burdened by crises, there are so many possibilities. What should be independent of the financial situation is the level of service. The 3-course menu was served from 20:30 to 23:00. I've been to an unnamed island country where rabbit is the specialty. In a secluded rural family restaurant, we surprised the kitchen by ordering 4 portions of rabbit. Well, we had to wait there for 2 and a half hours for the food to be ready. Here (I think) it would be possible to serve the guest in a shorter time with the pre-prepared ingredients, given the easily predictable number of guests (half board). There was a guest who came later and received his a la carte meal much earlier. Guests sat at roughly 3-4 tables, the rest at the bar. There were 3-4 ladies serving, who either chatted with each other or with the barman working at the bar, or pressed their phones. If the kitchen capacity was low, I have already experienced such a thing on another island in another country, that after ordering for a group that wandered into a hotel restaurant, even the head waiter helped in the kitchen so that the food was ready within a reasonable time. This amount of time is incomprehensible and unacceptable! There was no problem with breakfast. There have been better ones, but you can't expect more at this price.

We spent a week at Hotel Apollon (half board) staying in the Annex building (one twin/one double). The rooms had everything we needed, being spotlessly clean with a fridge, air conditioning, balcony and fantastic views over one of the smaller beaches. A very short walk to the main hotel and restaurant where, as a vegan party of three we enjoyed a delicious buffet breakfast which included vegan cheese and spinach pie (also plant based milk) and a three course evening meal each day - starters included some of the best soups we've tasted, bruschetta, couscous salad, main: a choice of vegan moussaka and pasta, dessert: a choice of ice cream, fruit salad and chocolate cake. Portions were generous! My husband eats meat and I hope to return with him. Knowing we will both be catered for as standard, with so much choice really is refreshing (not easy for vegans in a lot of UK hotels!) Next to the hotel, a small bakery also offers delicious vegan choices. An evening walk to the Monastery to watch the sunset is a must! A fantastic traditional hotel run by a Greek/English management team, all so warm and friendly. With such a stunning beach on the doorstep of this hotel it may rate as two/three star but it gets a five from me. I cannot recommend it enough for a quiet relaxing break. *Travelling from Corfu Airport to the hotel takes around an hour catching two buses - for our party of three, it cost around 10 euro's each way (cash only) much cheaper than a taxi! At the time of writing we took the number 15 bus from outside the Airport to the Green Bus Station and from there, the Green Bus to Paleokastritsa, where the bus stops in the carpark close by the hotel.

Great Hotel with fantastic views. Really clean and friendly , thanks to the two Karens and Maria In reception. Rooms are basic but all you need is there. Breakfast is buffet style and has all you need. Only slight niggle was the service was a little slow early afternoon for a beer. Sort started to lose its chill by time it arrived but i think thats down to youngsters chatting but no real worries. The Wifi is very slow and didn’t work at all times. But no problem for me as i had plenty of 4G data to use up. I would definitely recommend this place.

We did try to book here but the dates wern't available. We stayed elsewhere in Corfu and went to Paleo for a day visit. Had to go here as we do watch the webcam from their hotel when back home, as you'll see in my photos lol. Had one of the best gyros ever here, it was amazing! If you're here just visiting for the day I would highly recommend for a bit of lunch.

my girlfriend has ciliac disease. the restaurant menu said that they have lots of gluten free options. She ordered a burrito with avocado, cheese and couscous. the letters GF(gluten free) and V(vegan) were written to the left of every meal that can be made either gluten free or vegan. before ordering we asked the waiter if the meal we ordered was gluten free since its a health issue and we wanted to make sure. although we asked and he reassured us that it did not contain gluten my girlfriend had some doubts that the couscous they had wasn't gluten free so we asked and it turned out that her doubts were right and the staff said that it would be removed by the menu. they should've done a better research it's a health issue that's all.

We've visited the Apollon many times and it NEVER disappoints. It is incredible value for money and te staff in the bar and the restaurant are charming, friendly and very helpful. The food is excelent and ranges from traditional Greek and Corfiot recipies to more international dishes for those who are not so sure. The breakfast is incredible value and you can sit and watch the world go by as you overlook the beautful beach from the open air restaurant. Located next to three beaches all with something different to offer and a short walk from the monastery with stunning views over the local coastline and green covered cliffs. Local buses to Corfu Town are very cheap and run throughout the day and there are loads of local restaurants within easy walking distance with prices and tastes to suit everyone. Just Wonderful!

We have been staying at the Apollon hotel for over a week and are looking forward to the rest of our stay here. It has basic but very comfortable and spotless clean accommodation. All the staff make you feel like part of there family and so welcome. We have breakfast included which is fantastic with great choice and unlimited coffee etc. The main menu choice in evenings is great value and some of the best food we have tried also day time snack menu choice is very tasty. Highly recommend this hotel 10/10 for every thing.
