We stayed here for two weeks in September and had a lovely relaxing time. The room was spacious with a private balcony and sea view. The breakfasts were wonderful with coffee and orange juice and an enormous range of cooked, or continental food including a wonderful pistachio cake that I had most mornings. The staff were welcoming and so helpful and the location was lovely including two infinity pools, a nearby beach, a restaurant, two bars and a great place for swimming off the rocks. Every morning and evening free transport was included to take you into fiskardo, although it was only 15m walk. I would highly recommend it.

We stayed at the Emelisse resort and had a truly amazing experience. Our room had a fantastic sea view and a spacious balcony where we could sit and relax. The breakfast buffet was plentiful with many homemade pastry options and the views from the terrace was spectacular. All of the staff were extremely courteous, professional, helpful and knowledgeable about the island. Fiskardo town has a variety of bars, restaurants and cafes and is less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel, alternatively you can take the hotel shuttle bus. The spa offers a variety of treatments and Natasha gave a wonderfully relaxing massage. A special shout out to Evangelia who was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and she was so helpful. I left a pair of glasses and AirPods in the taxi which took us to the airport and the hotel kindly sent them back to my home address at no charge - such great customer service. We will definitely recommend the resort to our friends and family and plan to make a return visit. …

We absolutely loved our much needed holiday at the Emelisse. The hotel is gorgeous and breakfast was delicious. We loved the views from the terrace. The staff were amazing, especially Evangelia who greeted us every morning. And Vassi was the best bartender with her signature cocktails. We loved exploring Fiskardo, and hired a car one day and another day, we rented a little boat from the harbour. There was a shuttle bus from the hotel into town but we preferred to walk the short distance to get some steps in! The sunbeds around the pool were super comfy and we loved the pools. Sushi night at the hotel was a highlight. The beach around the corner from the hotel was gorgeous and we loved relaxing on the rocks just down from the hotel. As you can probably tell, we will definitely be returning to this little slice of paradise. …

So pleased we found this amazing hotel in such a beautiful location overlooking the ocean with woodland and mountain views. A short stroll takes you to a lovely little beach plus the hotel run a regular complimentary bus into the town. We have been so well looked after here from the moment we arrived. Special shout out to the manager Maria who made sure we had everything we needed after a late arrival. We will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our time at Hotel Emelisse. It’s a relaxing and peaceful place. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. Lots of delicious fresh food choices for breakfast, served on the terrace with a spectacular view. We loved our ‘partial’ sea view room. It was very quiet and serviced every morning while we were at breakfast. The adults only pool was a fantastic spot to read or watch the comings and goings of the boats. We spent a day on the hotel speed boat and were glad we took the opportunity. We also rented the hotel car for the day which meant we saw a bit more of this beautiful island. We would also recommend the spa treatments. Fabulous experience! Fiscardo is a short 10 minute walk away down a dusty path. We preferred the longer walk, through the trees and along the sea edge. We didn’t do either walk in the dark. We caught the free shuttle bus in the evenings. This was sometimes a bit busy. There is a lovely little rocky beach just down the road. Hotel provides towels. Fiscardo is postcard perfect. A fantastic resort. Low key but very charming. We enjoyed several restaurants all set around the harbour which provided the most perfect backdrop for a romantic meal. Reluctantly, I decided on a 4 star review rather than 5 because I do think the hotel can do better. We experienced 2 weddings during our stay. This meant the adults only pool was closed all day on both occasions and the second wedding was very loud until very late. Advance warning would be courteous. Weddings must be a money spinner but it is at the cost of the regular guests comfort. Coffee pods are not replenished unless you ask. The food in the restaurant wasn’t amazing and our food was served separately on one occasion. The staff, who work very hard, tended to gather around the bar towards the end of service and sometimes enjoyed a few too many shots!?! Although, maybe, deserved it isn’t what some guests would expect from a 5 star resort. Fortunately we prefer a resort with a bit of character and wouldn’t hesitate to return.…

We came to the emelisse for our wedding in September and stayed for a week after. It was our first time coming but we had been to Fiscardo before. The wedding was absolutely amazing and we had so many guests saying it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. The venue was stunning and everything was made perfect on the day. We had Jenny the events manager at the emelisse help to organise the day and she did a fantastic job. Jenny was always available on email and WhatsApp calls and she answered any questions we had. She also helped to give ideas and suggestions, and put us in touch with vendors. On the wedding day everything ran smoothly and there was no hiccups at all! It couldn’t have gone better for us. We will never forget our wedding day and if you’re thinking of booking one here then definitely do it!! It’s an unforgettable experience. We stayed at the hotel after for a week and it was a really relaxing stay however there could be some improvements to the room and the service from the staff. It would have been nice to have been acknowledged for our wedding by writing a card or leaving complimentary wine in our room or even a free glass of Prosecco! This would be a nice personal touch.. We didn’t get any acknowledgment for this, and the morning after we wanted a champagne breakfast- when I asked for a glass of Prosecco the waiter laughed and said no this is breakfast. Leaving us feeling a bit silly. In the rooms they are quite basic and dark. we had to ring for coffee every day as the maid forgot to put coffee pods - then they brought decaf. The coffee machine was broken, and it just seemed very basic for the price you pay. The bathroom was outdated and we never had any body moisturiser - the maids left dirty glasses and leftover plates on our side for over a day and I needed to call to get it removed. Sometimes we received turn down service and sometimes we didn’t. this isn’t what I would expect from a hotel which is rated 5 star? Aside from the rooms which definitely need improving for a 5 star experience, the pool area is very relaxing and comfortable and the food is delicious. Fiscardo is very close and easy to get to and it’s a really lovely place to visit with loads of restaurants and bars. We also did the yacht trip for my hen do which I cannot recommend more. We had the most amazing day! Definitely rent this is you visit Fiscardo or stay at the hotel. Overall if you want to get married here I recommend doing it. We probably wouldn’t stay here again if we came back to Fiscardo given the above review of the hotel but nevertheless we had a lovely time and won’t let that taint our amazing wedding! …

My husband and I stayed at Emelisse for six nights in September. Our room was spacious and comfortable with plenty of storage. We felt looked after from the moment we arrived, with golf buggies to transfer guests and their luggage from the car park to the room. There was a lovely lady who greeted us in the lobby every morning before breakfast. We really liked the adults only pool as a peaceful place to relax. We attended the Greek night in the main restaurant which included live music and also ate at the hotel for pizza night. The breakfast buffet was good and the staff were happy to make extra hot drinks. We ate in Fiskardo on our other evenings and appreciated the free shuttle bus into the village which runs every evening.

We have just stayed 6 nights and we had a sensational time! The Emelisse Nature Resort is top class. The staff are all excellent and very helpful in any way you need. Especially booking drivers, restaurants and providing information about shuttle service and things to do in surrounding areas. The facilities from the spacious rooms to pool areas are exceptional! Also I had a 90 minute treatment at the Day Spa and it was the best I have ever had! And finally we went on a day speed boat tour and it was excellent, going to private islands and beaches only accessible by boat. Thank you all, we will be back Suzy and Tim

We had a fabulous holiday at Emelisse Nature Resort, all of the staff were exceptional and looked after us superbly. There was an excellent choice of food for breakfast, all of it delicious. The deck chairs on the rocks, was one of our favourite places to sit, overlooking the sea. There are two fabulous swimming pools, with plenty of very comfortable sun beds. The location is perfect and only a 20 minute walk to the lovely and charming village of Fiskardo. The free shuttle bus from the hotel to Fiskardo and back, is an added bonus, which we used several times. Wonderful holiday, highly recommended and would love to return sometime in the future.

Nice stay in a tranquil part of the island, very close to the small - and lovely - port of Fiskardo. The resort's main pool area is large and offers a wonderful panorama of the Ionian Sea. If arriving by car, parking takes place outside the resort with a very kind and friendly golf cart service ready in attendance. Room was good (but nothing extraordinary). All in all, an enjoyable stay.
