Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a lovely place to base yourself. Helen and Steve are very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation is top notch. Very clean and tidy and everything in the room. We stayed in the double room ensuite upstairs which was fabulous. Breakfast was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them. We have already booked to go back in October. Thank you both we had a great time. Thank you Gary and Karen Whitehead see you soon.

Helen and Steve were fantastic hosts. Dog friendly, spotless, welcoming accommodation in a location that was ideal for exploring Carmarthenshire. We loved our stay. Lots to see in the area; we highly recommend the unspoiled Pembrey Beach.

My daughter and I stayed overnight and it was perfect in every way. First class service with a smile in beautiful surroundings. Lovely breakfast. We arrived very late and our hosts still welcomed us warmly.

We couldn’t of asked for better hosts and accommodation. Helen and Steve were so welcoming and even provided tea and cake on arrival when we couldn’t get in to the local restaurant. The house was beautifully kept and the trim was a good size and contained everything we required for a great nights stay. We will be back :)

Stumbled across beudy bach on a random 3hour drive to the beach with our dog. Hosts was super friendly and welcoming (they even dried our clothes as we didnt plan to stay over & had nothing with us). There b&b is stunning with beautiful grounds, instantly fell in love. The room and facilities are super clean and stylish with a big tv. This is the first time staying out with our dog and he was golden ,fenced garden for him to fun in and a field to walk him in. 100% recommend and 100% would stay again. Great price too 🖤

Just back from our first stay at Beudy Bach. We were warmly welcomed by Helen and Steve who made our stay very pleasant and relaxing. Our room was super comfy, with everything you need. The b & b was tucked away in a very pretty and quiet location. The breakfast was excellent with eggs from their own hens and home made bread, delicious!!! We will defiantly be back. Thank you. Sonia & Steve Watts

Room was spacious, clean and well appointed. we were only there for one night but were still made very welcome. They have two gorgeous dogs who are inquisitive and friendly. Their chicken proved the breakfast eggs, the bread is home made and the bacon is local. I would definitely book again

Had to post a review as soon as we got into our room (large double with en-suite) as we are so impressed. This beautiful bed and breakfast “Beudy Bach” (translated - Little Cowshed) has got to be the most beautiful little diamond, nestled in the heart of Carmarthenshire. Just 3 bedrooms, Helen and Steve have transformed a farmhouse into a “country meets modern” haven for anyone wanting a “go-to” getaway. Just driving towards the main house, the landscape, wildlife- rabbits, squirrels, red kites and stunning views take your breath away. We were greeted by both Steve and Helen ( and Ffion and Candy the Rhodesian Ridgebacks) and welcomed with the offer of a cup of tea and homemade lemon drizzle cake! The wonderful aroma of home baked bread wafted through the kitchen as we chatted and Helen ran through what was available to us. The fact that the fridge was offered to store our wine and beer was a bonus - something we hadn’t been offered at previous bnbs. We were then shown to our room, which had an indoor balcony - absolutely stunning! Immaculately decorated and not a speck of dust in sight! We were so impressed and my husband could not believe his luck when he spotted the enormous flat screen (that’ll keep him quiet!😂). Maybe my review is a little premature as we still haven’t slept in the large bed or had the famous “Beudy Bach Brecwast” but so far, I cannot fault anything about this beautiful place. I would wholeheartedly recommend this gorgeous getaway to everyone. (I’m already looking forward to coming back).
