Just back from Melfort Pier & Harbour, loved it so much we stayed an extra night! We took this trip for my 30th birthday and had an amazing time. We had barely gotten out of the car when we were greeted by Mary who was just as cheerful as she had been when I had spoken to her on the...

Just back from a week at Melfort Pier – we stayed in “Bridge Deck”, which I have to say from looking at the location of the other apartments around, looks to be the best location with a great balcony and view over the loch! I’d give the apartment 5 stars all round – the location and view are better than...

Melfort Pier and Harbour is a friendly destination tucked away on the shore of Loch Melfort, 18 miles south of Oban. Each modern house has privacy and open views to the sea loch, with access to pontoons for your own small boat, or for the free use of the rowing boat . A paradise for fishermen using the pier, or...

We stayed at Melfort for a long weekend break. We can’t fault the hospitality of our hosts; they were very welcoming and so friendly. The surroundings are so peaceful and the views over the loch are spectacular. It was very easy to just sit and chill out looking over the water. My husband went fishing from the pier and although...

Thank you so much for taking your time to write such a detailed review. It is good to see that you enjoyed the sauna, and that your husband relaxed with fishing right by your cottage. Just to give you a little business back ground....Most of our guests under 55 can only travel 7 weeks a year. The other 45 weeks...

We arrived to be greeted by the friendly and welcoming Hazel who cannot do enough for her guests. She made sure we were settled and knew where everything was, which after a long journey was much appreciated. The house was really comfortable and well equipped and importantly for my wife, who's on crutches at present, it was spacious and very...

Stayed in the Mooring Master for a long weekend in February. Very comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed. The views are stunning, and it is well placed for all nearby visitor attractions, ie Oban, Crinan, Kilmartin. Loved the peace and quiet, I would return in a heartbeat.

Me and my wife went for a few days break to Melfort pier and harbour on the 7th of March. The accommodation which for us was the commodore suit was out of this world. Home from home with all the luxury you don't get at home. The views are absolutely stunning and being a stones throw from the water makes...
