A timeshare week in the garden cottages (No 1) proved a great base at the beginning of our three-week tour of the highlands and islands. The cottage was spacious and had lovely views down to the loch. There is lots of wildlife in the area and we were pleased with great times with golden eagles and white-tailed eagles. In fact... Having visited Melfort Village half a dozen times over the past twenty years, this was the first time we have stayed at Beechwood. We were not disappointed with the property with the benefit of recently fitted improved (more efficient) heating. As ever, at this time of the year, the weather is a key factor and it was kind to us... More

This site was astounding, ok it took a while to drive there from Northamptonshire, but it was well worth it. To be surrounded but such simplicity and nature but at the same time have access to modern conveniences such as the pool and spa was amazing. The serenity of the place had and still has me wanting to drive back... More

Made a last minute call to come here for the October week (actually Sunday to Thursday due to other commitments). Two families (4 adults and 7 kids) sharing Farm Cottage 2. Cottage exceeded expectation. Adequate space for all of us (wouldn't want to have been one of two adults sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room). Really well... More

I recently had a week long break here, staying in Upper Cooperage. What a wonderful, peaceful time I had, the apartment was spotless with everything you would need , and more. I enoyed a daily swim and just sitting on the balcony watching the birds and everything that was going on. The staff were excellent, especially Olwen, who went out... More

I would like to think that now I've stayed there, I am now a honoury member of the Melfort club. We recently stayed in both Pier cottages with a combined party of 13. The weather was not too kind to us but with an age range of 4-67 there was enough to keep us all occupied. Swimming but not in... More

Perfect for a 5 night stay in School holidays for us (Family of 3 with a 5 year old) The facilities on site were brilliant - great pool and playground. The house itself (Beechwood Cottage) was great with a fabulous view. The staff couldn't do enough for you. Highly recommend. (the only downside was the erratic opening/offerings of the restaurant... Great setting, quiet and very picturesque. Old world charm with activities such as mini golf, sauna, pool, tennis on site. The Loch is amazing and very quiet and unspoilt. Lovely, friendly and professional staff make this a top stay in this area. Check out music nights in the bar!!
