Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I honestly can’t praise this place enough. Went there a couple of years ago in the summer and stayed in Harrier Lodge. Had an amazing time, beautiful views and so peaceful. Loved it that much I knew I had to go back again. This time we went for the last week in December/first week in January, and stayed in Eagle Lodge. There was 4 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs in our group and the lodge had plenty of room for us all. Lovely, cosy and contains everything you will need in the lodge. The owner, Les, is a lovely man and will help with anything if needed. I absolutely love this place, could go here year after year!

A relaxing and peaceful location right on the shores of Loch Awe. Friendly and helpful host and there was a hotel serving food a 20 minute walk away. We could launch our canoe easily. The views of the mountains and the loch from the chalet were amazing and hard to beat.

Beautiful secluded location and well equipped and clean chalet, we stayed in Osprey. The owners Les and Michelle are very friendly and approachable as are their 2 dogs Darcy and Bea. We took our dog with us and couldn't keep her out of the Loch and she instantly made friends with Darcy and Bea. Such a tranquil location and very close to the banks of the loch. I'm doing this review before our holiday is over because we are loving it so much, so much so we've just booked again for September 22. I would well recommend this place for a quiet retreat and even better if you enjoy fishing. Inverary is 9 miles away for the nearest shops, so stock up before hand. There's a phone box on the single track road leading to the with a honestly box and there's eggs, cakes etc. There's a hotel on the road to the property and does very nice food and is only 5 mins drive or a 1 mile walk away. Oban is 30 miles away with the ferry to Mull which is well worth going, unfortunately we didn't because of the weather, but will be doing next year.

These chalets are set in amazing grounds with direct access to Loch Awe. They can be found down a single track road, no shops nearby, but there are 2 hotels along the road for eating at, an honesty police box with eggs, cakes, jams and sloe berries and the scenery is spectacular. There are only 4 chalets on site and when we were there 2 were occupied by people who come twice a year and have done for many years. There is a hot tub and barbecue hut at the bottom of the lawn and the chalets are clean and well equipped. We have 2 Flatcoats who love water so the location was ideal, they spent many hours playing in the Loch and it was great to know they were in a safe area where we could basically open the door and they could play. There were children staying and the same applied to them . The owner, Michelle has 2 dogs and can often be seen chatting to the holiday makers, whilst walking her dogs. We used this as a base to visit Inveraray, Oban, Kinloch Castle, Fort William and Tyndrum. The weather was typically Scottish, however wellies and a raincoat dealt with that. Highly recommend the chalets if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing break with amazing views of the Loch and mountains.

Book for a Christmas get away Holiday here Michele and Les were so helpful and friendly the place and chalets were above and beyond our expecations! the views are stunning and the house has a charming "secret garden" to explore. We thought we would go and do lots of walking but in the end we were happy to sit and just enjoy the views with a bottle of wine or two. the Chalets are beautifully looked after and equiped with lake shore access and BBQ facilities it is the perfect holiday venue. Cant wait for our next visit!

Visited for the week just myself and my 2 dogs. From the moment I arrived I knew this wouldn’t be the last time I booked a holiday here. Everything was perfect!! A real hideaway to get away from day to day stresses 😊 chalet spotlessly clean with absolutely everything you could need. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Views over the loch stunning and one of my dogs loved getting a swim everyday, the other just likes to paddle. Will definitely book again and next time I will let my husband come along too 😁
