So glad I decided to book an overnight stay with dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday. Room 207 was lovely and the staff made us feel very welcome. Thanks to Sam, John, and the lovely lady from Budapest, sorry I knew I should have written down your name for making our stay memorable. If I was to give you any...

Very elegant castle and grounds, came here with my boyfriend and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The four poster bed was amazing and the views out my window onto the field and the water fountain were lovely to wake up to. The place is also haunted which made it interesting, we heard lots of noises in our room, including the bathroom...

Clean, tidy, comfortable place to stay with a high quality breakfast, in general this was a highly enjoyable place to stay for the night, it is not like staying in Gleneagles but it is superb value for money - at least on the deal we got it is.

A lovely location, some parts of the hotel a little "tired". The staff were helpful and friendly especially the night porter - but one negative comment, breakfast service was poor and food was not replenished.

What a fabulous hotel to stay in, food very very good, staff happy to help, rooms top notch, 50 acres of good walking. I recommend this hotel you won't regret it. We walked around the ground and took in the scenic views.

We took a mini-break for my partners birthday. I was thrilled to find the castle had available rooms as it looks so grand on the website and my partner was thrilled. We only stayed one night at the hotel and broke our journey up by staying in a few other hotels on the way there and back, but the focus...
