Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Cosy, warm and peaceful shepherds hut on top of the hill above Heslerton. The views are stunning. Staying at this little shepherds hut was a perfect way to end a day spent at the coast en route home. The place is immaculate. The bed comfy and the shower is great. Everything you need for a quiet and enjoyable stay. A great place if you want ‘to get away from it all’. Highly recommend.

Amazing little get away, the views are beautiful We took our puppy and she enjoyed herself on walks and seeing sheep for the first time. The pods are tucked away on a high hill overlooking miles of fields and hills, it’s absolutely breathtaking. The pod was immaculately clean and we had everything we needed. Very cozy, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere and decor. We only spoke to the owner Paula and she was lovely and chatty. Half an hour away from Filey where we had a lovely day out. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again.

Fantastic visit to these wonderful pods. Everything has been well thought out with towels, bedding, kitchen equipment, to name a few. The pod was easily big enough for our family and dog. The outside seating on the deck was wonderful to sit and admire the amazing views. The fire pit and bbq were a great extra and both were used with the supplied logs and charcoal. All in all a fantastic relaxing weekend in modern and comfortable surroundings. We will definitely return. Paula was quick and efficient with her communication. Thank you.

We heartily recommend these pods. My daughter and I stayed in The Beehive 4 bed one with our two dogs for 3 cold snowy nights. Paula was wonderfully friendly and welcoming, and the pod was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Beds were comfy, and the underfloor heating kept us mostly cosy. Following a 3-inch snowfall on the second night Terry did an amazing job of clearing the access road. The view was rather obliterated by the weather on the first day but was lovely once the sun came out again. I would love to be here in warmer weather when we could sit out on the little verandah and enjoy the stunning view.

Simple booking process doubled up with easy access and relaxed and polite arrangements from the owners. The glamping cabin was clean and had a good range of amenities all tidily presented and spotlessly clean. Bedding and towels were fresh. The facilities were nice but the exceptional thing about the site are its views, tremendous scenic vistas for miles and miles left to right offering something new with different weather and times of day. The site is well positioned as a regional hub for North Yorkshire and the coast. Glorious produce available from the many local farm shops. We took the kids and the dog out on the Wolds Way walk and were lucky enough to see deer and hares. Only notes I'd add are that the site backs on to a working farm so a few noises from that and if your kids are roughly teenagers then sleeping arrangements are a bit small and theres limited clothing space so consider when packing. I heartily recommend Wolds Walk Glamping to other families.

We stayed for two nights whilst walking the Yorkshire Wolds Way which runs alongside the pods. The pods are also an ideal base for exploring the area with Filey, Malton & Dalby Forest all within easy reach by car. The pod (Beehive) was exceptional and had absolutely everything we needed including comfy beds and a lovely shower and was spotlessly clean. Paula was on hand to ensure everything was perfect for us. The highlight of our stay was enjoying the lovely outside space with stunning views.

Amazing stay in the shepherd hut on this lovely glamping site based on a working farm. We received a warm and friendly welcome from Paula who showed us to our hut, which was in the woods between the glamping pods and the farm. The hut had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, especially the comfy bed. The decking was great to sit and chill, taking shade from the trees to escape the summer heat. Honestly can’t fault this place, had a great stay and will definitely return.

Exceptionally high standard glamping! Comfortable beds, lovely soft towels. All essentials supplied. Views are absolutely stunning from the decking of the pod. There is plenty of outside furniture & a fire pit with enough wood for first use. The whole area were the pods are situated is well kept. Paula was very accommodating throughout our stay. We were walking the wolds way and this was a great stop over for 2 nights whilst in this area. Winteringham & Ganton area. Check in all very straight forward. Highly recommend this site & I’ll definitely visit again 🌟 🌟🌟

Brilliant find. The Beehive pod we stayed in was perfect. Very Comfortable, well equipped and spacious. There were 3 of us - a couple with a huge 15 year old. The views abs walks are spectacular, the clear skies are just awesome- we made use of the fire pit and watched the stars a few nights The pods as well spaced out, other families were there with younger kids and plenty pf space outside for them to play. The sheep in the field next door were of great interest to our dog, although he was very comfortable watching them from our veranda WIFI was very handy given we had a teenager, and there were games in the bedside cupboard- so we had a lovely evening just playing these and having a laugh. Coming up the lanes with the gates from the village also added to the experience- there are sheep in the fields so it’s important that these are closed after passing through. So a torch is a good idea if returning after dark The check-in was simple- just a call to the owner and they appeared and were no hand should you need them. We’ll definitely be back!
