Our stay was fabulous! Exactly what we were looking for and more. My husband and I prefer somewhere off the beaten track, but we had friends with us with 2 children and they would have liked the local amenities a bit closer. It's a very pleasant 45ish minute walk along the (hilly) bridal path down into South Brent, which we... More

Stayed in Seashores with our children and friends , a comfortable and spacious cottage , a little dated inside , however it was well equipped . We were lucky to have great weather so got to enjoy the pool with stunning views and ate in the garden most eves. A very tranquil and quiet setting , perfect for getting away... More

These apartments are perfect if you appreciate the more secluded things in life. The country back roads, streams, birds and sunshine combined together created peaceful summer evenings. The garden for the guests is beautiful with plenty of seating and a little swimming pool, it is incredibly well kept and there is plenty to appreciate. When we arrived the hosts were... More

I stayed with my partner and our 2 year old in the one bed moorlands apartment. When we first arrived to the area I was disappointed as the track was so tiny I couldn't get the car down the lane.. We then got to the apartment and the house was stunning! We met Steve who I mentioned the lane and... More

6 of us stayed for one night in Seashores, but would like to stay longer next time. A very comfortable, cosy, warm and welcoming place in beautiful surroundings, with all the basics provided and some lovely extras! There was tea & coffee and a pint of milk to get you started, free range eggs and home-made scones with generous pots... More

We stayed in seashores which is the three bedroom apartment. The 2 story layout of the apartment makes it feel more like a cottage. It's wonderful, cosy and spacious. Didsworthy house has a very interesting history and the hosts are fantastic. The wow feature of the accommodation are the gardens and surrounding beauty. All this comes at an affordable price.... This place was ok, not great, but ok. The highlights are without a shadow of a doubt the grounds and the pool; it was lovely to have such a large area to stroll around on an evening and having access to the shared pool was great, although the water was not always warm enough to swim in. I get the... More

We went as a couple with a baby and stayed in the upstairs one bed apartment. The location is exactly what we were after; on the door step of Dartmoor and approx 40 mins drive to the coast, grocery store a short drive away. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and much more spacious than we were expecting. Lots of... More

Was just a week at Didworthy but would have quite happily stayed longer. The house was wonderful, old building, naturally cool on a hot day, perfect accommodation, could not fault a thing. The children loved the heated outdoor pool, which had fantastic views of the surrounding hills. Really special.

We stayed here in late November with our teenage children and 2 dogs and had a great time. Sue and Steve were always on hand for advice and the cream tea on arrival was a lovely touch. We visited the outdoor ice rink in Plymouth, Dartington gift shops and walked up to the Avon Dam - the log burner was... More
