Very helpful and friendly hotel staff. Despite english language is not common, there is no barrier to communicate with heart. Love this mountain village. Lots of fresh air and there are many things to explore. Cable car is a must if u wish to have a quick access and closer view of the picos de europa. Great place to visit.

Situated in the center of Potes, it offers a wide range of Spanish traditional cuisine. We had delicious anchovies and a tasty hake in green sauce. We could not finish the enormous portions...the wine list gives ample choice of wines from different regions of Spain

We stayed here for 45 euros a room a night in mid September. It is a busy place, with a bar and restaurant that are popular with locals and so if you want a quiet room, I'd avoid the first floor. (We stayed on the second floor at the back and it was peaceful, spacious, well appointed room with good... More

If I had what this wonderful family had I would bottle it! Customer service, second to none! Attention to detail, superb! Food affordable and so tasty. Rooms clean and sympathetically designed to local tradition. Well done Casa Cayo, we will be back for our 23rd year.

This hotel is a real treasure. The location is great, I have never come across such friendly and helpful staff in any hotel around the world. We have room 104 at the back beside the terrace and overlooking the mountains, superb. The food is excellent and everything is incredible value. Just love it!

Lovely posada on the river running through Potes. The town is so charming and has lots of restaurants. The bar at Casa Cayo was always bustling with people spilling out the front door. Once upstairs on the 2nd floor we heard nothing. We had a room in the back facing the river. There is also a fireplace on the 2nd... More

We stayed at Casa Cayo for 4 nights while hiking in the Picos. The staff is so friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and quiet. This is not a 5 star hotel, it is an inn, so as long as you expect that, it is a wonderful place to stay. The restaurant is great for all meals and... More

Potes is a small touristy town acting as a good base to explore Picos de Europa. Hotel Casa Cayo is in the very center of Potes located on a pedestrianized small street. You can find public parking nearby however it may take some time get a free parking place during high season. Our room was on the 2nd floor and... More
