I was staying for 4 weeks in San Felices-business visit. I liked my stay in Palacio Garcia Quijano very much- it has a very detailed and nice ambiente and the staff is very helpful and always friendly. Also the Garden and the pool are very nice. I would definitely stay there again if I go to this region of Cantabria....

A surprise awaits anyone who visits this gem of an hotel. Nice quality furnishings beds and bathrooms. A restaurant would be the only improvement I can think of. Lots of care has been taken aesthetically it's a real treat to visit.

Restored Manor house in a rural hamlet, off the beaten track. Large rooms, clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. A place to really escape the hustle and bustle of modern life. Nearest restaurant a 10 min walk, or have a bar meal around the corner at the local Meson although you will have to use some basic Spanish!...

The room was comfortable with a view over the court yard and up into the village. The room was very quiet. There wasn't much in the town - no restaurants so had to drive. The breakfast was fairly basic but ok. Staff were friendly and helpful

Very relaxing stay, super friendly staff. Beautiful hotel, great pool, large comfortable rooms. The staff goes out of their way to make it a pleasant stay. It was a great choice with little kids. We heard cow bells in the morning, great place to disconnect.

Used this hotel as a stopover after arriving on the Brittany Ferries service to Santander and before setting of on a motorcycle tour of the Picos range. It was a little difficult to find, and you have to trust your SatNav, but it is a delightful hotel - albeit in a very rural location being in a small village. Be...

I have just returned from a week's stay at the Palacio Garcia and thought it was a brilliant little hotel. The room (in the loft for 4 people was neat, tidy and impeccably made up every day, the breakfast was nice, with some variations on offer every day, the bar was well stocked and the overall look and feel of...

This is a really homely, lovely restored Palacio nestling in the quiet and peaceful hillside just 10 minutes off the main A67 south from Santander. We decided to stop here after seeing other reviews of people who used it as a stopover after getting off the Portsmouth/Santander ferry. Its very conveniently located if you are traveling South as its only...
