We were in this charming hotel just before the end of season and were very warmly welcomed by the owners joe and noreen. Wonderful room, great laughs in front of the fireplace and of course excellent diners and wine. We will come back soon. Regula and Jacqueline

This was my third trip back to old friends Joe and Noreen, welcoming and bright lifted our spirits after a difficult trip from JFK. What ever Ballyrafter has should be sold as an elixir for a good life. The rooms are bright and airy, breakfast and dinner was very good.

Breakfast is a real treat, and sitting outside during the afternoons with a drink and a book...

We really chose this place because it was a convenient driving distance for us on our first day after flying into Dublin. We were very glad that we did: friendly staff; excellent dinner; equally excellent breakfast; and a quiet, restful charm that made for a welcome break. Just wish we could have had an extra day here just to explore...
