We are currently at hotel. One more night tonight. This has to be worst stay we’ve had and we travel a lot. The room very basic. No hairdryer. Toilet when flush comes over too floods floor. Had towels under it. So had no towels for shower. No biscuits in room. No food available unless huge buffet. Bar man agreed food availability was ridiculous. We were overcharged at the bar had to wait for refund. We’re not big eaters. So had bag crisps at bar went to bed. Pillows were a joke lumpy. We told off like school children for asking to play pool on empty table apparently no access area but door open no one there. Total disgusting waste of v5 my hard earned money. Never again. Won’t recommend. Will add to booking. Com and trip advisor. I never write reviews but this is has driven me to complain

Hotel's Favourite
After having a couple of issues at check-in, I would just like to shout out to Charlie in maintenance and the manager who worked incredibly hard and ensured every detail was taken care of to resolve our initial issue which could have been a massive let-down. For that reason, I've chosen to simply review the hotel based on the experience since then - Travelled in a part of 5 in 2 rooms. The rooms were nice and spacious and clean with nice little extras (music in the bathroom, mirrors with lights etc - just nice touches). The hotel complex itself is reaped in football history and heritage and as a huge football fan, it's hard not to get a little bit overwhelmed. England legends past and present walk through these doors and the hotel does well to capture the spirit of it. Lots of walks and football pitches to go an explore as well. We ate at the hotel for breakfast - Buffet style and lots of choice and even the fussiest amongst us were satisfied. Extra note, on the day of our check-out, I was watching the football and my daughter was hungry. Even though the bar and the restaurant was closed, the chef came and spoke to my mum and made my daughter a bowl of chips and could not be more caring. All in all, fantastic hotel and stay but especially enhanced by those mentioned who really helped to make this trip memorable for my daughters 8th birthday.

Lovely welcome & excellent service throughout my stay. Room was clean and comfortable and the Spa was very good. The grounds were great for a morning 5k with a run route map available from reception. Food was really good especially breakfast.

Let me begin by stating that the facilities in Hilton at St George's Park are second to none for what I would describe as a mid-range hotel. The rooms are very functional and clean, the public areas are impressively laid out and the surrounding grounds are quite spectacular. It's nothing short of what I would expect as a flagship facility of England Football. The reason for my poor review rating is primarily a result of the disappointment and frustration I felt at the hands of the Hilton staff. Upon arrival on a Friday evening, we met with the rest of our (wedding) group in the hotel bar. The bar was close to empty with two parties occupying the space; our group (made up of 9 guests) and another group (made up of about 7 guests). The other group were clearly intoxicated and continued to become increasingly animated, loud and crass over the course of 90 minutes or so. I visited the public toilet facilities and found the space was soiled with vomit and litter. It was quite obvious from the guests' movements and frequency to the toilets that the facilities were being used to consume products not sold at the hotel bar. We experienced multiple failings by Hilton staff to proactively deal with the intoxicated and abusive guests. This inevitably resulted in a physical altercation breaking out within the other party and within the vicinity of our guests. This forced members of our own party to intervene and avoid the altercation spilling into our partners. In the midst of the altercation, a junior (female) member of the bar staff was struck on the head. Other members of our party had to approach the front desk and request the police be called. The police arrived on site and engaged the party and some guests were removed from the hotel. We were never addressed by any of the Hilton management in the aftermath of the incident. At the very least, I had expected an apology for the hotel being unable to manage the situation effectively, if not some gratitude for assisting in the diffusion of the incident. This was both upsetting and frustrating a guest. I, and several other members of our party, contacted the hotel management regarding the incident and to express our displeasure. We were merely updated "the incident is under investigation", followed by receipt of a generic, mass-circulated email advising our "experience is by no means a true reflection of [Hilton's] normal standards and levels of service". In my opinion, this response is far from satisfactory. Outside the above incident, we encountered other instances where we felt Hilton staff did not really care about our experience as guests and we were treated as inconveniences. Examples included when we approached the reception for drinks from the after-hours fridge, ordering taxis and enquiring about guest's lost property. In all instances, the staff came across as disinterested and even, at times, unhelpful/obstructive. I can't help but think, had I been an England football player, I may have received a more satisfactory reception from the staff. All in all, I'm unable to recommend this hotel as a place to stay. In fact, I would go as far to say I'm planning to remove myself as a Hilton Honors member as a result of the frustrating experience.
