We went there early in the morning, we arranged the tour directly with the Marasha office since the hotel we were staying in was overcharging us. You are taken in a boat to the entrance and depending on the season the tour is different. In dry season you will wake to the reserve. We went in rain season so the...

I must be really lucky to stay at this place, its the best with great service and most humble people on earth. Our guide Jose was a man with abundant knowledge. During our forest walks he explained us about the jungle, trees, showed us animals and at night he single handedly caught crocodile like a pro. Our accommodation itself was like paradise,so relaxing...

While the hotel is simple and rustic, the food is delicious (Peruvian style) and the Jungle easily make up for any inconvenience. The lake is breathtaking at any hour of the day, but especially at sunrise and sunset. The fauna is friendly, the flora is awe inspiring, and the starry night sky is incomparable anywhere else. A huge thank you...

This natural reserve is next to the a lake connected to the Amazonas river. We stayed there one night and the service was great. Our tour guide was amazing, he was with us all the time and made us an extra activity (camp fire) in the jungle during the night. The rooms are big and with a lot of beds,...

We arrived late at the lodge as the elderly couple walking with us from the boat landing were extremely slow. We were left alone with no explanation as the few staff there focused on a large tour group. Finally after going into the kitchen to ask, we were shown to our room which as others have described was very basic...

We visited this reserve on a rainy afternoon and had a nice basic lunch.kayaking and zip lining are available. The capybara and birds in the area are interesting. Sorry no air conditioning but there are plenty of hammocks available.

This is a Nature Park on the Peruvian bank of the Amazon. A boat delivers you to the edge of the reserve, and then there is about an hour and a half's walk through the jungle to the camp. Bring rubber boots, or arrange to hire them from the camp beforehand. It's muddy! But VERY atmospheric. The camp is quite...

We loved the reserve and this is the only place to stay. The accommodation is very basic, meals are adequate. Despite the lack of comfort, we would return as the reserve is wonderful. The wildlife is so abundant here. Be prepared to share the place with student groups.
