Great atmosphere , good staff , nice facilities and really close to the beach. The ambience and guests are really surf style. Barbacue + swimming pool are an excellent combination and the staff has been always really helpful

Carcavelos Surf Hostel is easy to reach, near the train station; and it's located almost beside the beach - perfect!! The hostel has a very open, friendly and lively atmosphere - I travelled on my own, and had nice chats and fun with people working there, as well as other guests. I really enjoyed the stay! Sometimes it's to wait at the bathrooms, as there are only few, but that's not a problem. Thanks a lot - I really enjoyed the stay (and the surf lessons :-D)

I m a portuguese women, that needs some zen moments. I fount that peace 15 min from my home. I felt like i was in Bali, so much nice people, so much surfers! A spoke english all the time, i knew new people from all over the world, i knew different ways of living. I like very much the room, the wc, the pool area, 2 minutes away from the beach, restaurantes, supermarkets, shops. Thank you Ze for your hospitality, and for imagine a place like this! I will come back soon!

Anyone can walk through the rooms. They leave it open and stick it. And they did not tell me. I left my bag on the bed in the room where I was alone while I went to the bathroom. I had stolen money and the prorpietario and secretariat did nothing. They offered no chance to resolve or call the police. The only camera that is in the reception does not work this decoration. Otherwise the owner aubda was rude
