We just stayed 5 days in this quaint hotel. It was spotless and the owners very welcoming and friendly. The exaggerated media response to the Greek crisis was just that. Exaggerated and we never felt anything but calm and normality in the town centre and cafes and restaurants. We as tourists had no limit to the amount of cash taken...

Words cannot describe the experience of staying in katarina and barry's wonderful home. From the moment you arrive you sense the feeling of a true friend ship begining. .The rooms are obviously cleaned to a high standard but the decor will be the focus of your attention..There are hundreds of artifacts / antiques in each room which have been in katarina's...

An amazing Greek dinner enjoyed together with friends and the host couple made my special day very extra special, indeed. The kitchen enchanted fabulous tastes out of traditional Greek ingredients - lamb and vegetables. Let alone the chocolate cake!! The renovated building, unique rooms and garden has brought Greek history alive. If you are looking for a place which offers...

Perched on a gently sloping cliff, just ten minutes away from Argostoli, the George Molfetas Museum Hotel keeps alive the spirit of a true Ionian grand home, turning back time to a day when vintage hospitality was the standard. While more recent renovations have renewed with respect to its history and aesthetic its beauty, the Ionian home qualities and philosophy...

Dear Martha, I am speechless! How come you have managed to see things exactly the way I had them consieved back in the times when I was only dreaming on how and what I would like to create. You have captured my soul and you have analyzed my mind. What better way to communicate with a fellow human being. Thank...

We were a group of friends travelling through Kefalonia and the boys had booked the hotel as a surprise! And what a beautiful surprise! We were first greeted warmly by Katerina and Barry, who were the warmest and friendliest hosts. We got shown around the hotel, and I couldn't decide which room is the most gorgeous as every single one...

Oh, what a gift! We were both with sniffing noses and very liquid eyes while reading your review dear Chey! It worked both ways. We were charmed by your lovely company and like proper "kids" you just appreciated our spoiling you. It is a bond with you all to take care of you, cook for you, conteplate on which room...

We stayed for 4 nights with our 2 teenage daughters. Katerina was good enough to meet us at midnight off the long bus/ferry journey from Athens and gave us a reviving soup on arrival. The rooms were an incredible passage back in time. Full of memoirs from an earlier Greek age inherited from generations of Katerina's forbears. A lovely setting...

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is very good in several aspects – the quality of rooms, meals and above all – the warm hospitality of Katerina and Barry. Katerina initiated a complete operation to support our trip's goal – to memorize an occasion that took place 60 years ago. Her energy and very good spirit...

Dear Offer and family. I only have one thing to say: It is guests like you all that help us carry on with our hotel the way we do. We felt your love and good spirit all over us and our home. What else should one ask for? We love you and we thank you for everything.

Wow. I did not know what exactly to expect when I visited George Molfetas museum hotel in Faraklata. What I had planned was a relaxing getaway with my mademoiselle. I had hope to find somewhere charming, romantic, & one of a kind. I was not disappointed. I searched on the internet for such a place on Kefallonia. I discovered George...

My friend and I read all the reviews and thought surely this is too good to be true... BUT it's not... This is an amazing retreat in the hills of Kefalonia...It is quirky and charming filled with amazing artefacts and crammed with history...But what makes it so special is the personal link the artefacts have with Katerina...and she and Barry...

There are no words to frame all the sentiments that flow within me when I read reviews like this. I feel the enormity of responsibility to make more people happy and rejuvenated and "spoilt" but then, in this I find the true meaning of my existense. I am serious! When I consived the idea of the "George Molfetas" I thought...

We knew right from the start, as soon as Katerina and Barry came out of the front door to greet us that this would be unlike any other hotel experience : simply because we felt more like being at home than in a hotel (even though one gets all the comfort and privacy of a 5-star hotel). Katerina's impeccable sense...

Dear Yagos and friends, I was so touched to read your review about your stay at my "baby". I had a feeling that I did not see you enough, I did not have a chance to do all that I can do for my friends, but at least I felt that you had a good time. With your review, however,...
