Amazing Hotel in a great location. The staff are so friendly, helpful and hardworking cannot do enough for you. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The rooms are lovely decorated, beds very comfy, shower wow the best, lovely little touches like the dressing gowns, free bottles of water everyday. Breakfast was okay some of the food was lukewarm.

Hi I stayed here from Aug 22-25, 2021. When we checked in they were not able to honour my room type. They updated made day one and then voluntarily gave me an additional upgrade to a better room for the remaining nights s. The hotel is clean. Bathrooms are modern with enclosed showers (hard to find in Greece). Water pressure in hand held could be better but rain showers is good. Beds are comfy. Rooms are clean and the staff are very friendly. Amazing location right with in the square. This means when you arrive, you will roll your luggage a bit to get to the hotel but it is worth it. Thank you to Panos and the team at Aenos for making my stay so pleasant.

We booked the ‘Thea Suite’ with the hot tub for one night to treat ourselves whilst on our honeymoon!
Let’s just say we had an interesting 24hours when a 70mph cyclone hit Argostoli. But our experience of the hotel wasn’t dampened due to some excellent staff at the Aenos Hotel, especially from Gregor!! The man was an absolute hero during the crisis of the cyclone, as when we arrived for the evening Gregor ran to a restaurant down the road to collect our meal (as the hotel had no food) I wish we had a picture of him walking back towards the hotel with two plates of souvlaki in the high winds.
The next day we had no power, but the staff still managed to put on a breakfast and attend to everyone’s needs. That evening the power is still off and most of the restaurants in the vicinity were closed due to cyclone being fully present in Argostoli, Gregor the hero rang up one of his friends at a restaurant round the corner and organised food for everybody. Myself and Gregor jumped into his car to go collect the food for everybody in the hotel in some rather precarious conditions.
We were so impressed with how the staff were during the time we were there and to top it all off Gregor offered to drive us back to our apartment! The man deserves a medal 🏅

We were very disappointed with our recent 1 night stay at this hotel. We booked a classic room promising personal concierge service, early/late check in, and welcome treat.
The initial receptionist ( lady with long dark hair) was lovely and helpful and promised our room would be ready for 1pm -- we had to wait until nearly 2pm for the room.
We didnt receive a welcome treat (or was that meant to be the 'welcome drink' that we did get) and we saw no sign of our personal concierge.
The room was comfortable enough - it was small though and the balcony was tiny (although it had a lovely view over the main town square).
There was no hairdryer in the room -- we mentioned this to reception and the male receptionist was a bit offhand and advised we ahould have called him and he would have made a hairdryer available ---- well the cleaner should have checked that the room had the hairdryer in the allocated wardrobe drawer before declaring that the room was ready for us!
We were disappointed that there was no coffee/tea making facilities in the room -- although to be fair the availability of these facilities was not included in the room description.
The safety deposit box was completely out of reach on top of the built in wardrobe -- useless......I mentioned this to the male receptionist, who suggested we should 'climb' (presumably using the single cfhair in the room) to get access!). Not wonderful health and safety!!!
There were 3 steps by the main entrance to the hotel - this made it difficult for anybody with large suitcases......there appeared to be no 'accessible' hotel entrance.
Breakfast was just about acceptable -- usual half cold bacon, cocktail sausages and eggs in buffet style and continental choices (cold meats, cheese etc). Nice pastries and the coffee was remarkably good coming from a machine!
All in all -- disappointing for the money we paid. This was our second visit to this hotel --- we probably would stay there again if only for its location in Argostoli.

My wife and I stayed here for the first time when the staff kindly arranged for us to be collected from storm battered Assos following the 2020 'Medicane'. We have since been back this year, and have already booked for my wife's birthday next year. Each time, we have been lucky enough to stay in the rooftop suite and cannot recommend it highly enough. The rooftop is entirely private, apart from one occasion when another guest climbed through an unlocked window to have a look around (access to the roof is only meant to be via the suite, but he wasn't to be put off by a locked door from the hallway). Everything is immaculate, the staff are absolutely lovely, nothing is too much trouble and the location superb for local bars and restaurants. Definitely recommend a room with a balcony overlooking the fantastic and lively square at the front of the hotel. Would say this hotel is more suited to couples rather than families with young children, as there are no beaches within walking distance.

Superb views across the square and harbour. Room was lovely although only 5 or 6 hangers. Not enough for 2 people for a week. We had the suite with panoramic views and outdoor jacuzzi. Unfortunately we didn't use the jacuzzi as it appeared dirty with scum lines. 2 of the receptionist were lovely and the lady we saw sometimes in the evening with blonde curly hair. The hairdryer was not fit for purpose for such an expensive vacation. The safe didn't work on arrival but was sorted with some new batteries. Breakfast was the usual free for all with gannets piling up their plates and usually leaving half of it. Juice only available a few days out of the 7. Cleaner took our pass key from our room and when we questioned this the housekeeper denied it. Then it miraculously turned up again after one receptionist said we would be charged, even though we didn't lose it in the first place. Bed was too soft. Water bottles in the fridge were said to be replenished everyday and they weren't. Toiletries should have also been replenished for such a luxury suite. We had to ask at receptionist for more soap. Best thing was the view and balcony plus some of the reception ladies. All being said, we would stay at Aenos Hotel Kefalonia again if some improvements were made.

Well located on the main square, this hotel is ideal for a short stay. The rooms are well appointed - we booked an executive suite which was on the corner overlooking the square with two balconies. Room was very spacious. Special mention to Marina on reception and in the restaurant who was most helpful and friendly throughout our stay.

Hotel is in the centre of Argostoli- in front of the main square, close to shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Rooms are modern and well kept. Room is spacious and pleasant with daily bottles of water. Breakfast is as expected in most hotels. Staff were very friendly, in particular Gregory who is an asset to the hotel- friendly, informative (places to eat/ things to do) and very attentive. He was the ‘life of the party’. He was the face of the hotel- here day and night, ensuring we were ok. His presence made the stay even more pleasurable!
Only negative is the smell from the bathroom for two days which disappeared.
I would recommend a stay here. Thank you Aenos

The hotel is in very good conditions and it definitely worhts it in terms of money for value.
It is located in a very good spot to explore the city, especially during the night. Very clean and tidy rooms, excellent breakfast and very polite and helpful personnel.
We went through the reservation with Marina who helped us a lot deciding on the room that fits our needs. During our stay she was also very kind to help us discover (and explore) the hidden gems of Kefalonia.

We arrived at check in told be told that our room was ready and we could go straight up, only to find that someone else had put their things in the room.
The hotel staff were completely baffled as to how this had happened and they had no idea whos things were in the room or how they got in. They decided to put is in an upgraded room for the night only until it got sorted which was a shame. We were only staying 3 nights so to have to move rooms twice was a pain.
The hotel is fairly modern and clean. Breakfast was very basic. Not a huge amount of choice.
Some other issues are the waste pipes are very loud, you can quite clearly hear when a toilet has been used. This also must be the only hotel I’ve ever stayed in which didn’t have an iron available, you had to use their ironing service while although not expensive, the ironing wasn’t up to par.
All in all, an OK hotel. I wouldn’t stay here again given the option.
