I was back with wife and friends to Casale Campodoro, Carolina and Piero were as charming and helpful as always. We got Piero to guide us through a day's journey into this historic landscape, discovering a hiddden Roman bridge, secluded hermitages and a family restaurant esconced in a medieval village serving exquisite food and wine. Umbria is so peaceful and...

For one night I stayed here. The very clean room with bath room, TV and wireless internet was great. A combination of 300 year old walls with modern aspects. The shower was also very good. Breakfast made by the owners was nice. The whole building is about 300 years old. You feel like in annother century. But the owners are...

What a great find .... pretty property with a variety of quirky, artistic rooms/flatlets. Beautiful rural setting, but not too remote, with secluded pool and lovely garden/outdoor space. Friendly Italian, English speaking, couple and their pets.

I was using this facility to attend to competitions in that area. The place is absolutely pleasant, with nice garden and pool. Plenty of dogs and a horse that are free to move around. The peaceful owners make you feel at home offering a breakfast with homemade marmalades. Parking is inside the structure but a little far from the apartments:...

We first visited Carolina & Piero 7 years ago on our family holiday and recently went back again this year in August and had another fabulous stay with them! We had breakfast with them every morning which was delicious whilst Piero suggested many places to visit all of which were fantastic. Would highly recommend!

We had the pleasure of staying at Casale Campodoro for the third time. The first time we visited was six years ago, returned last year and then had the pleasure of taking our relatives there this September. As there was four of us we had the opportunity to stay in the apartment, it's beautiful and comfortable and exceeded all our...

We are experienced travellers, but must admit that it´s rare to find such warm and also discreet hospitality in a b&b. Casale Campodoro, in the very heart of Green Umbria, is the perfect place to relax and unwind, thanks to Carolina's home-made breakfast delicacies and Piero's precious advice on what to see, where to eat. Excellent!

My wife and I stayed for several days in mid-September of 2013. Piero and Carolina are absolutely fantastic and they made us feel like family. Piero has extensive knowledge of the surrounding areas and provided us with extremely detailed information of things to see and do that are off the beaten path (perfect for avoiding the ho-hum touristy stuff). His...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Campodoro was once a typical, stone-built Umbrian farmhouse, today it's a guest-house surrounded by an ample garden with a swimming pool and many cozy corners where one can sit and relax. We have decorated the rooms with antiques coming from our families, and painted them with the colors of the land: yellow, green, blue. Breakfast is served in the garden during the summer, in a room filled with books during the winter, and all our guests sit together around the table, thus having a chance to make new friends. If you wish, we'll be happy to talk to you about the art-cities and to share with you the knowledge of this fascinating region we have acquired. ... more   less
