Adorable little hotel just outside of town (4 min walk). You must take a taxi from the train station to get there (uphill). I had a great view, water pressure and shower were perfect, it has a spa (that I didn't get to try, but not expensive for a day pass to the Turkish bath, whirlpool, and sauna. Staff could...

The hotel is in the center of San Miniato a medioevel village on top of a hill and well known for the autum truffles , A must see village in Tuscany. The hotel is fine and price to quality is correct although they could improve in looking after little details in the rooms where little signs of age can be...

We spent 2 nights in this beautiful little hotel in the hilltop town of San Miniato, one of which was New Years Eve. We were invited to a New Years Eve dinner hosted by the owners which was held in the 15th century church attached to the hotel. What a magical evening! The food was incredible - an 8-course meal...

We booked three rooms for three nights at the hotel, using the hotel as a base to visit various places in Tuscany. The hotel was, in the past, a convent, then used by the Local Council, until it was completely refurbished to become a hotel in around 2005, if I am not mistake. We were staying in the annex. The...

We booked 2 nights at this hotel in early July 2014 but declined to stay there. This is a message to the hotel management, which has not bothered to ask us why we did not stay. You may not care, but very simply, you failed the 10 minute test. What I mean by that is that if you cannot connect...

Hotel San Miniato was a perfect first overnight stop on our Via Francegina walking pilgrimage from Lucca to Siena. A comfortable room, good food and wine, reliable and 'fast enough' wifi, and most important if all, the friendly enthusiastic staff. A lovely building too.

Stayed here as part of Via Francigena walking holiday. Arriving in San Miniato with tired legs the hotel was a welcome sight. Not sure if we were upgraded or not but we ended up in the building next to the main hotel in a great room with terrace. This is a family run hotel and the sense of that really...

Oh man, did we hit the jackpot on this one! I was traveling with some colleagues and we pulled up to this hotel after a very long drive from Bologna, full of traffic. This hotel was a miracle to behold, I cannot believe this is not a 5 star luxury. I had the best room of all, although that's what...
